“Stephanie is very flexible and detailed, she is also very down to earth & easy to chat about my pets needs and such. She took great care of the dog and even good with my guinea pigs. I recommend and will be rebooking.”

About: I have an English bulldog and a pug at home. My husband and I have two grown children who are now in college. I am so excited to get exercise by walking some new buddies. I am a retired school counselor hoping to become your dog’s daily walker! Please consider me as your dog’s new buddy! Thank you for reading! We love our dogs and often give them Cheerios as little snacks. Our dogs have the invisible pet fence out side. They love it. I am not planning to have pets at my house, just to walk other people’s pets/dogs. Would you mind if I carry a small handful of cheerios in my pocket, to give your pal a snack ? :) I am a silly person who loves to talk to and praise your pet…they are guaranteed to have fun.
“Elise was amazing! She helped with daily drop in visits for about 5 weeks, and was awesome the entire time. She came over for a meet and greet beforehand and Bia loved her! Elise was super communicative and took so many pictures for every visit. I definitely recommend Elise for any doggie needs, and will definitely request her again if ever in the area! :)”

About: I have been around animals my whole life starting with dogs and progressing into all sorts of 4-H animals! I currently have horses, dogs and cats, but care for animals at a non-profit farm that includes: goats, chickens, turkeys and birds! I have been pet sitting since I was a young teenager and have continued doing it as a young adult because I enjoy it so much! I am currently a teacher so I have evenings and summers off to offer my services ! I would love to get to know your animals! I provide services in your home! This could be potty breaks in your backyard or walks. I will ensure to leave everything the way that I have found it and treat your pets as if they are my own family!
“If you missed my 6 star review, after Natalie’s last visit with the pups I would raise it to seven stars! We made a very last minute change to our itinerary and she was able to accommodate us. As always she takes great care of our pups and leaves the house immaculate. Lots of communication, check ins and pictures. It is wonderful to have found someone who is so responsible. I almost hate to have to share her. You can’t go wrong having her take of your pets!”

About: I have hands on experience caring for dogs of all different sizes and personalities! My three dogs always have my attention, and are treated like my children, just like yours would be! I prioritize safety, affection, comfort, trust, and patience. I’m currently a stay at home mom, so I have plenty of time to play and take care of your animals! I pretty much have open availability until I figure out a more firm schedule. I can do whatever your pets need, walks, play, crate time, feedings, and of course, cuddles!!! I will not be offering time spent at my house due to already having three dogs and no fenced in yard.
“This was Ruby’s first time being walked by someone other than a family member- so she was a little nervous! But Ronny made a nervous momma and pup feel at ease right away. He greeted Ruby with a smile and happy puppy talk. Clearly she enjoyed the walk as she’s passed out at my feet!”

“Anna is great! I have a dog that was in a shelter for two years and has a good bit of stranger danger. He was at ease with Anna as soon as she came to the house to meet him. We have been doing walks preparing for Anna to house sit for me. Anna is very professional, arrives a bit early and lets you know she is outside the house ready to go when you are. She is very good at staying in touch but most importantly she really loves the dogs she cares for.”
About: I’ve had a heart for animals since I was young, and have owned both cats and dogs - ranging from low-energy Pugs to high-energy Boxers - for the majority of my life. My pet care experience mostly includes sitting for friends and family members, and caring for my own dog, a 6-year old Mini Poodle mix. I’ve taken care of senior animals with a variety of health conditions, and have no problem providing medications from pills to eye drops. I also have some experience working with reactive dogs, as my dog deals with reactivity issues. Through a 6-session training course we completed with a professional trainer in the summer of 2025, I’ve learned techniques to improve behavior on walks, as well as a long list of enrichment activities to help your high-energy pups burn energy throughout the day. The best days for me to care for your pet in Lancaster or York are Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and weekends. If requested, I may be able to accommodate services in Lancaster on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. I thrive on routines and like to keep somewhat of a normal routine for my dog. This includes feedings, giving medications, multiple walks, and enrichment activities (in or outside, depending on weather). My dog has anxiety and spring/summer are the most difficult for her, so I keep on music or background sounds while in the house, and make sure she is always on a leash when outside. I am willing and open to following any routines you have for your pet, however, I am not comfortable with electric fences or shock collars. I always have my phone easily accessible and am a quick communicator, so I can provide pictures, texts, or calls as requested if you’d like to check up on your fur baby.

About: I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and energy levels, making sure they feel safe, happy, and well-exercised. I’m comfortable handling daily walks, feeding schedules, and basic care like refilling water and cleaning up after pets. I pay close attention to each dog’s behavior and needs, whether that means going on longer, active walks or taking it slow with older dogs. I’m also dependable with timing and communication, so owners can trust that their pets are in good hands while they’re away. I have 5 dogs of my own and i don’t know what i would do without them. I’m currently working part time as a nursing assistant so i have plenty of time to spend time with your pups! The only days i would not be able to do are sundays and thursdays. Any other day i’m free all day! I care for pets by creating a safe, comfortable, and stress-free environment both in my home and in my clients’ homes. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, walk times, and any specific instructions the owner provides. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection so they feel secure and happy. In a client’s home, I respect their space and keep everything clean and organized while caring for their pet. I also provide updates, photos, and communication so owners feel confident their pet is being well taken care of. I will do the same routine they are used to.
Foustown dog parents share their Rover experiences
Natalie has been absolutely amazing with our dog. From day one, she has been reliable, professional, and genuinely caring. She always follows our instructions carefully, asks thoughtful questions when needed, and keeps us updated with texts and great pictures during visits, which gives us so much peace of mind. It is obvious that she truly cares about the dogs she works with. Our dog absolutely loves her and gets excited every time she comes by. Natalie is patient, attentive, and takes the time to make sure our dog is happy, comfortable, and well cared for. Finding someone you can trust with your pet isn’t easy, but Natalie has exceeded our expectations in every way. We couldn’t be happier with the care she provides and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable, knowledgeable, and compassionate dog walker

I am so glad I found Alyssa. I have a one year-old Frenchie, and it takes a lot of time to walk him. He can be stubborn and takes a long time to sniff along the way. Alyssa has been so patient and loving with him. He took to her right away. I will definitely have her stopping in during the day to walk him in the future.
