About: I’ve had dogs and cats since I was 5 years old. In high school, I was the one people called to watch their pets when out of town. At 18, I got my first non family dog and self trained her for the AKC good citizen test. At that point I became the friend everyone called to help train their dogs. I have fostered bottle babies all the way to senior animals with complex medical needs. I also have experience working with reactive and fearful dogs. I am also experienced in dispensing medication. My current dog has a spinal condition and gets medication twice daily. My soul dog was in palliative care for the last five months of her life and I learned a lot about basic canine first aid. My current dog has traveled with me extensively. He’s been to 13 states and roadtrips with me through Mexico. I think there is a care plan for every animal. I look forward to treating your pet like they are part of the family. I work full time from home, but have a very flexible daytime schedule. I am able to take breaks as often as needed with no issue. I currently walk my dog at 5am and 10pm to avoid daytime heat and give him bathroom breaks every 2-4 hours. I learned a long time ago that routine is best for most pets. My dog does for two 45 minute walks a day, and meals twice a day. When hosting another pup, your pups schedule will be continued. Even if it’s different from my dogs. They will be fed separately and created separately. If your dog is less social I have plenty of space to keep the pups separate, if needed. When dog sitting in your home, my dog will head to do more board and train lessons and my routine will shift to match what your dog is used to.

About: I have owned and fostered several cats and dogs in my life and nothing is better than ensuring care and safety for them. They deserve it! I'm very adaptable when it comes to very energetic animals or more reserved. Either way they will be taken care of and loved. I work from home M-F in marketing and am very flexible during the day and night. I will be happy to work around your preferred schedule for your animal. Letting me know of any certain behaviors and/or health problems issues is key! I will always make sure to accommodate to each individual animal and make sure they feel safe with essentially a stranger.

About: I am a proud cat owner who has co-cared for all sorts of dogs over the years. From pitbulls to chihuahuas, I've been challenged and rewarded by all my furry friends. Apart from roommates and partners, I've also cared for many of my friends animals while they were out of town. One of whom (a dog) I had to administer medication orally. I am also comfortable with syringe applications. From a personality standpoint, I have a way with dogs that just comes naturally. I'd call it a commanding presence, although I can be a big softie, too. Always down for a cuddle! For both cats and dogs, know that I will give your pets time to adjust to my presence, aka let them come to me and give them space, so that I can foster a measure of trust between us. When walking your dog expect that I will be focused, confident and vigilant, keeping an eye out for any triggers your dog my have to outdoor stimuli. For every booking I accept there will be pictures provided as well as a detailed summary of our time together. Your pet's safety is my primary concern, so should anything abnormal occur you will be notified in a timely manner. Please leave information regarding diet, medications, general health info, behavioral issues, personality, and hiding spaces. When it comes to daily routine I'd like to keep things as close to their eveyday schedule as possible. Any information about your building, parking, lockbox location, or house rules would be great help. Your pets will receive the same love and care. I am on the job hunt and a DC transplant, so I have a pretty open schedule at the moment and a healthy desire to explore the area with your pups. I am not accepting stays at the moment, but at your residence I intend to give the same care and attention you would. About: I’ve grown up helping take care of three dogs and one cat in my home all of my life. Most recently, I have been a dog mom to a miniature golden doodle for the last four years! I have a huge heart for all animals and have taken care of friends’ and family members’ dogs during times of need. I can follow detailed instructions on how to best care for your pet(s) and show them love and attention! I currently work part-time and have a lot of availability all day Mondays, Thursdays, and sometimes on Saturday/ Sunday! Tuesdays and Wednesdays are not available for me. About: Being homesick is no joke. I figured I’d miss my parents, but I didn’t realize how much I’d miss having Roxy, our 4-year-old lab-shar pei mutt, around. Our family text chain is a steady stream of Roxy pics: in her crate, on the sofa, under the dining room table, and they always brighten my day. That’s the energy I’ll bring to your pups: someone who genuinely gets excited to hang out and misses them between visits. As a WashU student, my schedule revolves around my classes and the academic calendar. I have daytime, evening, and weekend availability to help out with your dogs, although it will change as the semester changes. Currently, I am most flexible during the evenings and on the weekends,but can offer daytime blocks, as well. I’m available for care and feeding, walks and play time. Growing up in Chicago, I can’t remember life without dogs. We adopted Zuzu from a local shelter when I was 5 and Roxy when I was 14. Both doggos feature prominently in all of my best childhood memories and taught me a lot about responsibility, routines, patience, and unconditional love. About: I’ve spent my whole life loving animals and over 15 years working in animal care. I’ve partnered with rescues, owned a pet-sitting business in North Carolina, and worked as an ER vet tech. About: My pet care experience includes not only caretaking for my own dog and family friend's dogs over the years, but I also worked for a pet boarding and daycare facility for 2 years. This exposed me to knowledge about dog behavior, caretaking, playtime, and important details like specific needs of medicine and feeding methods for each dog in the facility of roughly 130 dogs. Additionally, my pup Bella has had a lifelong experience of many diagnoses such as mega-esophagus, acid reflux, and environmental allergies which have all required very specific feedings and medicines for her. Safe to say after all of these formative experiences, I'm very attentive to all specifics that your pup needs while you are away and happy to do it!! I'm a lifelong animal lover and I love to treat my pup like royalty (as shown in my pictures), because she is one of the most important things in my life. I will treat your pup with the same love and care as my own because they deserve it <3 I'm currently job searching for an additional part-time role to do with Rover, so my availability is pretty open right now for dog walking, dog sitting, etc. Before I do any caretaking for your dog, I do require meeting the dog(s) with the owner present on a separate day to make sure the dog is familiar and comfortable with me before I come over to take care of the dog(s). When I come over to your house to either walk or dog sit, I will first make sure I read all instructions carefully for what the pet owner wants & needs for their pup. Then, I will walk/dog-sit with them and send you some pictures of your pet to give you updates on how they are doing. I love it when people send me pictures/updates while I'm away from my dog, because it makes me feel secure knowing they are living well. Please let me know if you would like this or prefer not. Lastly, I will give them some pets and cuddles as desired and some play time so they have some enrichment time while I'm over. And of course, will make sure to lock up the house as instructed by the pet owner.
