About: 20+ yrs caring for dogs & cats in University City 🐾 Reliable, background-checked, and trusted by families. I love seniors, puppies, & everything in between and I always send photo updates so you know your pet is happy and safe! Hi, I’m Beth! I live in University City and have over 20 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages and breeds, including senior dogs and pups with special needs, I’m fully background-checked and committed to providing safe, loving, and dependable care. I treat every animal like my own. You can always expect on-time arrival, respectful care in your home, and a photo and update after each visit so you know your pet is happy and safe. As a mom of three, I’m a pro at multitasking, staying calm under pressure, and showing up! I’m currently working around my kids’ school schedules to spend time doing something I truly enjoy — helping other pet parents and spending time with animals. Service Area: University City • Clayton • Maplewood and nearby neighborhoods Rates: Drop-In Visits $17 • Dog Walks $13 • Puppies — $20 per drop-in / $16 per walk 🐾 Intro Treat! Since I’m new to Rover, my walks & drop-ins are currently at “new sitter” pricing — grab a spot while it’s still open! I’d love to meet you and earn your trust (and your pup’s!) — feel free to contact me for a meet and greet anytime! I have morning flexibility Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays from 8am-12pm. I also have some weekend and evenings open depending on the time. I am open to long or short walks or just drop in visits to feed and check on them! In your home, I will follow your pet's routine that you request — from feeding and potty breaks to playtime. I understand how important it is to maintain their normal schedule and surroundings, especially when you're away. I’m punctual, clean, and respectful of your space, always making sure your pet feels secure and your home is just as you left it.
“Hope is amazing! She’s prompt, responsive, follows care instructions carefully, does extra things like bringing in mail (so thoughtful), and seems to truly care about my senior pup. Highly recommended!”

“Sarah was AMAZING. We had a spontaneous day trip the pups couldn’t join, and Sarah fit them in her schedule last minute! She made time to meet them while we were home so we were all more comfortable. My timid baby hid in his bed and almost refused any walks, water, or food. Sarah was patient and knowledgeable, and was able to coerce him out and appropriately rewarded him. Her care, communication, and adorable pictures kept us from worrying about leaving our babies overnight. HIGHLY recommend!”

About: In my house growing up there were many different cats, dogs, guinea pigs, fish, gerbils, and even a tortoise. I also have experience taking care of chickens and pigs. I love pets and I have been missing mine since I moved to St. Louis in August. I work every weekday from 10-645 so I am free after that. My weekends are open. I am totally free on most Saturdays and Sundays. I will make sure that I have all the information I need before I start watching a pet. The client's contact, neighbors contacts, any additional necessary phone numbers, etc. I will make sure I know all I can about the pet before I am left with them.
“Lara is great - she handles my large dog with ease - he can be leash reactive and that requires expertise. And she is consistent and timely and reliable. What else could you ask for?”

“Virginia is the best!! Our dog and kitties love her. She’s professional, keeps us updated and is quick to respond should we have any questions or needs. We highly recommend Virginia!”

About: I have 14 years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. I currently have cats of my own and previously had dogs, so I understand the unique needs, energy levels, and personalities of both. I offer dependable dog walks while you’re at work and attentive, loving care when you’re out of town. Your pets’ safety, comfort, and routine are my priority, and I treat every animal like they’re part of my own family. I work from home and make my own schedule, which allows me to be very flexible and consistent with pet care. Because of that, I’m able to fit walks, drop-ins, and extended visits easily into my daily and weekly routine. I’ve also worked remotely from clients’ homes in the past, so if your pet needs extra attention while you’re out of town, I can spend extended time there while still handling my work responsibilities. This flexibility allows me to prioritize your pet’s routine, exercise, and comfort without feeling rushed. At this time, I do not bring pets into my own home. All care is provided in my client’s home so your pet can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and routine. When caring for pets in your home, I follow your specific instructions closely regarding feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and any household routines. I make sure your pet receives plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while keeping their environment clean and secure. My goal is to minimize stress and make your time away as smooth as possible for both you and your pet.

About: Hi! My name is Regan, and I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life. Growing up around animals has taught me how to care for pets of all ages, personalities, and energy levels. I have experience with daily feeding, walks, playtime, cleaning up after pets, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Currently I work part-time in Frontenac, so I will have plenty of time to play with your pets! Please reach out to me about overnight sittings. I can provide atleast 2 walks a day and as many feedings as needed! I am completely comfortable house sitting and I have my own mode of transportation. I have grown up with cats and dogs my whole life so I completely understand both needs. I am capable of walking large dogs such as mastiff’s, German shepherds, or Rottweilers because I have owned all three!
“Laurie was so kind and understanding of my hesitation to let someone else take my dog out of my hands. Olive had a lovely walk, came back nice and tuckered out so that I could continue my work day without worrying about her being bored. We will absolutely be rebooking with Laurie and I’m so glad that this was our first experience with Rover! Can’t recommend enough. ?”
About: I’ve grown up owning both dogs and cats my entire life. I have owned both big and small dogs and more cats than I can count on one hand who have lived long loving lives. Have a lot of experience taking care of senior dogs and cats, have taken care of friends’ older dogs many times. Right now I am a student on break so I have plenty of time to care for pets! My schedule is very flexible so there aren’t too many time restrictions for when I am not available. For dog care I typically prefer to keep the dog in the same room with me as much as possible, unless told otherwise. When taking dogs outside I stay in the same yard, usually to play or just keep them company.
“Alex has walked our dog a couple of times. He is always right on time and takes good care of our dog on the walks. He sends updates and photos. Definitely recommend him to anyone needing walks!”

About: I'm a Rolla native and a current college student at Saint Louis University. I love running and long walks, so if you have a high-energy pup who needs a good run I'm the walker for you! I grew up on a small farm, and because of that I've had a lot of experience with various medical needs, and I know how to give medications orally. I've potty trained and raised several dogs and cats, and I have developed the patience of a saint because of it. I look forward to working with you and your furry family members!
About: I’ve been caring for pets since I was 10 years old and have experience with a wide variety of animals, including both dogs and cats. Over the years, I’ve helped with everything from daily walks and drop-in visits to overnight house sitting. I was a regular sitter on my neighborhood’s babysitting and pet-sitting list for years before moving to St. Louis last year. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and take pride in being reliable, attentive, and making sure every pet is comfortable, safe, and well cared for while their owners are away. I am currently on break from college at USC so I will have plenty of time to take care of and spend time with your pets! I take the time to learn each pet’s routine and follow all care instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise, and any special needs. I treat every home with respect and will keep you updated with messages and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.
“Annamaria has been great! Charlie seems to really like her, and she’s been able to get him out of the house every visit so far - he can sometimes be a bit stubborn and refuse to get up lol. I’m very happy with the service so far, and definitely plan to continue having her work with Charlie.”

“Kati was an amazing dog walker! she was very good with my dog (who is a difficult dog). My dog has significant reactivity towards other dogs on walks and she worked with him with dog treats to help with that. She also brought some of her own dog toys to help me when I first got my dog, and overall had many helpful tips for me! I would highly highly recommend!!”

About: I've grown up with a small dog for the past 14 years, so caring for dogs has always been a part of my daily life. I have a special love for small breeds and really enjoy taking them on walks! Emily was such a godsend during my pup’s final days. I had an 11 year old tripod pittie named Brody who had trouble walking. Emily would spend whatever time was left after these short walks to sit with Brody and shower him with love and attention. I’d recommend Emily to anyone looking for a kind, patient and trustworthy dog walker

Megan helped take care of our golden retriever while we were out of town on vacation. Megan was very thoughtful and kind with his specific needs (training collar, trying to eat EVERYTHING). Amazing communication and quick to respond to our messages as well! We highly recommend Megan for any of your pet sitting needs!!
