About: Coming from an animal loving family and already volunteering part time at the Humane Society, I just can’t get enough of walking dogs — especially big ones ! My family’s dog, a total mixed breed that we raised from a puppy, is a modest 80 lbs. Before we got him, I grew up with a border collie and a cattle dog mix, so I deal well with high energy breeds. I’m happy to take them on 2+ mile walks multiple times a day. I have always had dogs, so I have a lifetime of experience raising, training, and taking care of them. I currently work part-time as a French teacher, frequently online, so I have a lot of free time to spend with your pet. Plus, if I am staying long term at your house, my students will love to see your pet pop up on my Zoom video! I can adapt to whatever your pet needs. If you have a pet that just needs feeding and a potty break/litter box scooping, I can provide that. If your pet is a little needier and needs playtime, ear rubs, and someone’s lap to sit on, I’m also eager to provide. I understand that each animal is different.

She made time to meet them while we were home so we were all more comfortable. My timid baby hid in his bed and almost refused any walks, water, or food. Sarah was patient and knowledgeable, and was able to coerce him out and appropriately rewarded him. About: A long time mid-30s pet parent who recently retired from the corporate world to pursue textile art. Since I’m now working from home, I have a flexible schedule to help out neighbors with their furry family. I currently have two large dogs and three cats, and have experience managing a busy feeding time, surgery recovery, as well as walking reactive pups. I also have experience caring for and cleaning up after guinea pigs and hamsters. I am a go-to for pet & house sitting for friends and family and so excited to become best friends with yours! My schedule is totally flexible. When I was working long hours and traveling for work, I found it was so hard to find a sitter who was able to pop in irregularly or on short notice. I’m hoping to be that for you. With 5 pets in my own home, I won’t be able to board at my house. I have two large dogs (Aussie and Cattle Dog mixes) and three cats ranging from new kitten to over 15 years old! I have gone through surgeries, managed medications, and reduced reactivity on walks.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and trained one dog growing up. I have experience walking neighbors dogs and house-sitting for friends and family. Love all dogs! I’m currently working, and evenings and weekends are the most free for me. My schedule will free up significantly around the summer time. I grew up with dogs and have been missing them dearly, so I am excited to have more furry friends in my life! I love taking dogs for walks. I’ll always leash up before opening the door. On walks, I’ll follow whatever style of interaction your pet is used to. I’ve walked dogs who are friendly to other dogs and people and dogs who are not- so I’ve had experience on both ends of the spectrum. It is helpful to know what their dog typically does on a given day, any information is appreciated :). I love to be active and play with dogs, but also respect downtime to rest.

About: I’ve been known through my family and friends as a “dog whisperer”, and have had dogs in my care all my life! I’ve owned and taken care of my own senior dog for years, and am currently working with my new puppy. I have detailed experience with elderly dogs and dogs with medical needs. I can administer medications involving needles, and fulfill special food requests. Currently, I am a university student and I have a small part time job. However, I miss working with animals and my class schedule tends to be very flexible! In caring for a pet at your home, I treat it as if it was my own. I always emphasize to follow directions perfectly, and to treat your things with respect.

About: ***Constant care pets will be an extra fee*** Constant care is care in which we cannot leave your pet alone for more than 3 hours. Meet and greets are free unless you need more than one before the stay, then the first meet and greet is free. My expertise is with older dogs, pets with disabilities (such as dementia or seizures), and pets that need medications. I'm also experienced in multi-pet homes where one or more pets are seniors/special needs and other pets are high energy or puppies/kittens. I have experience caring for pets who are recovering from operations as well. If your pet does need Constant care, we can negotiate a price that works for you. I've always had pets. I have always had cats, dogs, guinnea pigs, or ferrets. I'm versed in many kinds of animals and am happy to care additional small animals if needed. Short notice is ok as long as there are at least 2 days between the time I'm asked and the time of the stay so that there's time for a meet and greet. For repeat customers, I accept even same-day requests. I work 8 hours, 4 days a week. Since we do petsitting together, if there is a need for constant care, one of us will always be present in the home with your pet. Safety is my #1 priority when caring for your pets. I make sure to watch pets attentively on walks and in the yard to ensure maximum safety. My services include grabbing mail and packages, watering plants, giving medications as instructed, daily walks as instructed, basic cleaning up after myself and your pets, daily updates and pictures, and following your regular schedule as closely as possible to ensure as seamless a change as possible while you get to experience a worry-free time away.

About: I have been taking care of friends and family’s dogs for years and simply can’t get enough. I am a currently university. While not at college I live with Baxter my yellow lab, and three cats Binx, Goose, and Milo. I work as a Veterinary Assistant during the summers.I have first hand experience with topical, oral, and aural medication as needed. I am currently a university student. I have the most availability on weekends. I’m available daily during weekdays in the morning and in the evening. I like to start slow especially with the more shy pets. From that point I may use treats or some time for slow sniffing. Once I’ve built a trust with your pet I find it helpful for the dog to watch you pass their leash to me as a passing or trust. For walks the dogs are always leashed. I offer both short and long walks and will match the pace that best suits your pet from slow sniffing filled walks to fast paced trots. I am available for both in home visits and overnight stays, feedings, bathroom breaks, and medication administration as needed.

I'm available daily for dog walks or check-ins, including holidays, and I'm happy to work with your schedule. I have experience in administering insulin and other types of medical needs that are vet-approved by you. Every pet is different, so I work with what's best for them. I make sure to keep things familiar and as stress-free as possible. Keeping to their regular routine is especially important. They will miss their hoomans, but I promise to spoil them rotten while you're away!
