“I would without a doubt reach out to Randi in hopes of her being available to dog sit Ruby again and highly recommend her services!! The house was super clean and loved getting pictures while we were gone. Thank you so much!!”

“Fran was awesome! My dog Betty immediately gravitated towards her and I felt very comfortable with her staying with Betty in my home. She was very communicative, respectful, and engaging. She updated me when she took Betty on walks and provided photos. She left the house very clean.”

“This was the first time leaving Gracie for several days. Mel did such a great job keeping her anxiety level low. We felt keeping Gracie in her own home environment would be the best. Mel did such a wonderful job taking care of Gracie. We will definitely use Mel the next time! I would highly recommend her!”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was eight years old. Including puppies and rescuing senior dogs. Some of the senior dogs were at the end of their life so I understand the need for compassion and care. I currently have a two year old puppy which I have trained since she was five months old. So I am very versed in the need for daily exercise, consistent training, and daily enrichment. I’ve been dog sitting for at least ten years. Including extended stays at my residence. I’m currently a part time worker, looking for something to fill my extra time. So I have a very flexible schedule and I’m always ready for some extra dog time. My goal is to always put your pets need first. Including any care they need. Including cleaning up after them and any extra medications they may need. Also adding comfort and safety in stressful situations.
“Jenna is amazing! She took such great care of our 3 dogs and even taught them new tricks! She is extremely communicative and sent us photos and videos often. She left our house spotless and even watered my plants for me. She is now our go to person!”

“Eddie S. Watched our house and two high spirited large dogs. They loved him and did very well with him. He was very conscientious and communicated well. Sent great photos and put us at ease. Definitely plan to have him care for our dogs again!”

About: Hello! I’ve been gone for sitting for too long after moving from Idaho. I am a licensed EMT in Virginia and operations supervisor during the day. My fiancé is a scientist with europhins and have been in Richmond for a year now and am ready to hang out with some new pups! Because I am in an apartment setting it would be best to go do drop ins or walks. I’m in the shockoe city view lofts so pups around this area are very easy for me to come check on or take on walks of you don’t feel like walking him/her some days. I have done this for years prior to moving and just miss having dogs. So I am looking forward to meeting yours! Thanks for reading and feel free to message me. We do not have any dogs in the house just one lazy cat who was raised around dogs so she enjoys having them around. I do work full time and only one working one weekend a month. So if it lands on those weekends I’m totally free. During the week Im off at 2:30 most of the time but will occasionally close one night a week getting home at 8. This all 100% depends on the instructions you provide😊 I like the dog to be as free roaming and have adequate exercise and attention while I’m with them and prefer they aren’t crated unless requested.
“Thank you Marissa! Figgy was well cared for and were so thankful to be able to leave her at home instead of at a kennel. Marissa left the house spotless and was extremely flexible when our plans changed.”

“Douglas was such a great pick to hang with our pups and care for our home while we were gone. Our pups like to keep things interesting and Douglas’s patience with them is not only appreciated, but is admired, especially when it came to caring for our senior dog. We would gladly welcome Douglas back to our home, and I know the pups would love that too.”

About: A self-proclaimed "cat lady" and lover of animals who's spent years caring for furry family members as well as the lovely homes of their people. (I take great pet pics, too!) It began in the 2000's aughts when I lived at my aunt and uncles home in Maryland, when I took care of their Golden, three cats, and home while they were (often) away. I extended my support to other family/friends. I've also administered meds for pets, including senior pets, and helped pets with bad backs ensure they stay healthy by not jumping, etc. In the real world, I am a communications pro and vocalist who appreciates cool people and cool art. Pets are a gift in life! I am super flexible to adapt to anyone's schedules and routines, seven days per week, morning, afternoon, or evening. My own pet is cared for throughout the day, every day. With my own cat, she eats five times per day (small portions of wet and dry), I play with her, clean her litter box, and attempt to snuggle with her every day. For those with dogs, I basically adhere to their routine. If they can/want to go for longer or more walks, I can support that!
“Emily was AMAZING as a house sitter! She was so great with our kitty Saber, even when he had some accidents. She honestly went above and beyond to keep the rest of the house clean. She was very responsive and detail-oriented. Cannot recommend more!!!”

“Emily did great with Paris! She followed all my instructions in the house. Took great care of her, gave her her medicine, and sent pictures and updates every day. Will definitely book again.”

“Jenni was a great choice to watch our fur baby overnight because of a last minute trip my partner & I had to take for a funeral. Due to our unexpected time constraint beforehand, she came over the same day of the booking and met our dog Hank & learned his routine. While we were away, she sent lots of pictures & gave us updates every so often so we were always in the know. We would definitely have Jenni watch Hank again in the future and highly recommend her for the pet sitting needs of other folks too!”

“Kaleigh helped me out with dog walks when I had to cancel my booked housesitting trip last minute due to injury! My dog loves her. Great communication. Will book again.”

“The other reviews are correct Andrew is amazing! He took care of my pup while I was away but also took care of my home like it was his own. He sent updates with pictures and his communication was simply great. I'm so happy I found someone who I can trust to look after my dog and home while I'm away. I cannot say enough good things about Andrew and I will be booking him a few more times this year. Thank you Andrew!”

About: I just love critters! I love hanging out with your furry legged friends and would love to take care of yours if at all possible. I do work full time: however, I have my own transportation and can be somewhat flexible on my office hours. I’m used to working crazy hours all day! Can do drop ins as well as overnights, but will need to go into the office during the day. I make sure they’re happy and comfortable, following instructions to a T and spending as much time as possible with them to ensure they’re happy and healthy!
“Margot was absolutely amazing. We got constant updates and photos which we so appreciated. When we got home the house was just as we left it and so clean. She left the guest room so clean which we didn’t except given we’ve had other pet sitters who have left the house very dirty. When we met her we fell in love and will definitely be rebooking if she’ll allow us!! 10000/10 🤍🤍🤍”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Woodville
One of a kind! Kendall is incredibly reliable and a wonderful communicator. We felt our animals were in good hands the entire week. Last minute our cat got an infection and she didn’t bat an eye to administering his medication daily. Our cats were both relaxed and happy when we got home, plus the dishes were done and the house was tidy!

Amber was a fantastic dog and house sitter while we were away for 8 days! Both of our dogs have a few peculiarities that she was able to navigate, our home was very clean when we got home, and the dogs were very well loved! She communicated well and was reliable throughout the entire booking/sitting process.

Alexis is wonderfully attentive and communicative and did an excellent job with our senior dogs! We were gone for a week and knew they were in good hands. She was very receptive to our directions and keeping the little old ladies safe and loved. We highly recommend Alexis!
Molly took great care of our three dogs while we were away and kept us updated throughout. Molly was especially patient and understanding with our older Chihuahua. It was clear that our dogs were well cared for and comfortable. We would happily trust her with our pets again and highly recommend her to others.
