“We are new to the area and hired Monica to house sit and watch our dog Penny. She offered to come meet us in person before booking, which was so generous. Monica was responsive, kind, and left us with so much confidence leaving her with our dog and home. She was flexible with arrival and departure time, sent us updates and photos, and we will continue to hire Monica again and again- what a gem!!!”

About: I have been surrounded by dogs since birth and I have had a deep rooted love and passion for all animals from as early as I can remember. My parents bred our beloved family weimaraner when I was young and I was lucky to grow up surrounded by puppies as well as learning what it takes to raise and care for a dog. I am the fairy godmother to many of my close friends pets, as my love for them is nearly palpable. I have experience with many types of dogs, and I look forward to playtime & pushing some pavement with your precious pooch! I am available Friday-Sunday most weeks. I work as a flight attendant and am typically away from home Monday-Thursday. I am enthusiastic about the outdoors and can take your furry friend on beautiful weekend hikes. I live in Boiceville on just under an acre of land. My yard is not fenced in, however there’s plenty of space for your doggo to roam around under my supervision. Being in the Catskills there is also an abundance of beautiful places to walk and hike. I can feed, walk, play, board, crate (if needed), etc, in my home or yours.
“Simon made our two dogs feel seen and loved. He went above and beyond with them. They took long walks together and spent quality time playing indoors too. I’m grateful to Simon for all he did. Highly recommend him.”

“The moment of contacting and interacting with Jill, I had a good feeling which was confirmed by two days of reliable, thoughtful and attentive care for my cat companion Emma. I could tell from the photos Jill sent that Emma had it well. I am very grateful for the confidence I was given. I highly recommend Jill!”

“Kim was OUTSTANDING with our dog on our wedding day! He was part of our ceremony as our ring bearer and Kim was more than happy to join us on this day and assist with taking care of him after he was relived of his duties. She helped to watch him the rest of the night while the reception took place and stayed overnight, providing incredible hospitality, love, and care for our pup :) She was the absolute best dog sitter and really helped bring her beautiful energy to our day! Thank you!!”

About: I have a lot of experience taking care of dogs since I was a child. I would love to take care of your beloved pets. I adore animals! I currently work part-time and have a lot of availability in between my work schedule. I can easily pet care during the week and on the weekends. I am 100% present and naturally intuitive with animals. I am there for whatever they may need. They will be cared for and loved when they are with me.
“Laurel was amazing with my dog Lola. She is smart efficient, caring and I would leave Lola with her without any hesitation. She is also fun to talk to. I highly recommend her. Anyone who uses her will be grateful.”

“Riss was fantastic! I came home to my staff/pit mix being very relaxed and comfortable. It seems like he had a nice time with riss. She was very communicative and shared updates and photos. I highly recommend! Also, the house was spotless, that’s very much appreciated”

“Alexa was incredible with our girls and saved us when a sitter canceled last-minute. She sent the cutest pictures and I could tell my pups LOVED her. We can’t wait to have her back!”

“Amy was so patient with our dogs - one of whom was on medication, and the other is very nervous. She was patient and communicative. I really appreciated her approach to our difficult dogs!”

“Ronnie went above and beyond to take care of Chaga, and was super accommodating to a few SNAFUs on our part along the way. Chaga is an anxious guy but seemed to warm up to him pretty swiftly.”
“From the moment that I met Emily, I understood that her relationships with animals are deeply reciprocal. She is a patient and caring friend and enjoys the love that they offer in return. Emily stayed with my senior Boxer for 10 days at my home. She was a conscientious sitter -- taking perfect care of my home and of my pet. Knuckie typically experiences a few days of depression and hives when I leave but with Emily he was in good spirits, eating and in his normal routine. Honestly, he looked fantastic when I returned -- like he'd had a week at a spa. Emily's communication was perfect and she even went above and beyond to have a food order for us when our late flight arrived! I give Emily my highest recommendation!”

“Karla is a gentle and kind animal whisperer. Our pup was immediately calmed by her energy. From his daily med routine, to even feeding him by hand when he put up a “my humans are traveling fight” she cared for him with grace and love. AND we got daily pics.”

“Sam took care of our senior pitbull mix over the holidays. She did a great job! Our dog was recovering from surgery and had several restrictions that Sam handled professionally. We would gladly have her back to watch our pet in the future.”

“Elanor took great care of Dax! She has a great dog park and took him on a few walks, and sent photos throughout the visit reassuring me he was doing great. Will definitely book again so Dax can spend time with his new abuela!”

“Natalie had no problem looking after our excitable and sometimes anxious dog (a 57lb hound mix) while we were away. She took her on great hikes and walks, fed her, and took lovely care of our house as well. Highly recommend!”

About: I didn’t get to experience the joy of growing up with dogs or cats but as soon as I was able I began taking in fosters from the NYC shelter system. It was quite a learning experience spending time with many dogs (and a few cats) of all different types and personalities. I no longer foster but I bring the experience and dedication from working with so many shelter pets to caring for your furry family members. And as a pet parent now myself I have been through many sitters so I understand what makes a good one! A note on boarding and meet and greets: I’m happy to have boarding candidates come by to meet me and check out the space but I do not do meet and greets with my own dogs. My dogs are dog friendly but they are too chaotic and excitable to meet new dogs and owners right away. New dogs are kept separate at first and introduced at their own pace when everyone is calm. This minimizes stress for everyone and allows for better interactions. I currently work out of the house Monday/Wednesday/Friday but my schedule is somewhat flexible. The rest of the week I work at home and I am often available all weekend. Dogs in my home have access to a securely fenced large yard for running and fetch, as well as a quiet neighborhood for walks. If the weather is warm dogs have access to a dog door so they may go outside as they please. If your dog likes to play with other dogs mine will certainly be happy to accommodate but they can also have separate spaces if quiet time is needed. In your home I will make every effort to keep your pets schedule as familiar as possible while offering lots of love and stimulation. As someone who has had many sitters come through and stay at my house I understand the importance of trust and cleanliness so you can be away without worry.
“Gary was a great pet sitter and our goldens love having him watch them. He was very thoughtful and loving with our boys. He was responsive and sent plenty of pictures. He did well under pressure when our boys accidentally walked through a bunch of ticks. He spent hours picking the ticks off and washing the dogs! Not a tick was found the next day when we came home.”

We had a great experience with Piper! She took amazing care of Ozzy while we were away for the weekend—stopping by a couple times a day, sending us sweet photo updates, and making sure he got proper walks (not just letting him out back). It gave us real peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. Highly recommend her!
