“Kate has a very warm demeanor and my first impression when I brought our dog Astrid over to her house for a meet and greet before boarding, was that she would care for our dog as if she were her own. Astrid is usually quite anxious when she’s first introduced to a new person and a new environment, but she appeared to be more at ease much quicker with Kate at her house than she typically is. Kate sent us regular pictures and updates, was very flexible about our schedule for pickup and drop-off, prompt and easy to communicate with, and we didn’t worry about Astrid at all. Sophia did an amazing job with our mini Aussie. She has a lovely, compassionate vibe and is super responsive and respectful. You can tell she really loves dogs. She walked our pup and sent us updates. Our pup is shy and takes a while to warm up to people. When I picked him up, he had obviously connected with her—he was calm and happy and not his normal anxious self when I pick him up after a vacation. So we will definitely book with Sophia again!
