About: With six years of dedicated companionship with my own beloved dog, I've honed my pet care skills to perfection. From daily walks to cozy cuddle sessions, I understand the importance of providing love, attention, and personalized care to furry friends. Whether it's administering medication, following specific dietary needs, or simply offering companionship, I pride myself on creating a safe and nurturing environment where pets thrive. Incorporating pet care into my daily and weekly routine is a top priority for me. Each day begins with a morning walk, ensuring my furry friend gets the exercise they need to start their day right. Throughout the week, I schedule regular feeding times and play sessions to keep them mentally and physically stimulated. I also carve out time for grooming, whether it's brushing their coat or trimming their nails, to ensure their well-being and hygiene. Additionally, I make it a point to dedicate quality time for bonding activities, such as training sessions or simply snuggling on the couch. By seamlessly integrating pet care into my routine, I provide consistent love and attention to my furry companion, enriching both of our lives. Regardless of the setting, I remain attentive to each pet's individual needs, whether it's administering medication, providing grooming services, or simply offering companionship and reassurance. Regular communication with clients ensures that they are kept informed about their pet's well-being and any notable updates during their absence. Ultimately, my goal is to provide loving and responsible care that gives both pets and their owners peace of mind.
“Jorge is dependable!! I was so grateful to know he was checking up on my cat while I was on the other side of the world for a rather long trip. I will always rebook 🙏🏼”

About: Hi pet parents! I’m Midory. As a proud mom of two and a dedicated pet owner, my days are full of activity, structure, and a whole lot of love for animals. I specialize in walking and caring for dogs who thrive in lively environments and absolutely adore being around children.Because we are a busy, pet-loving household, your dog will get plenty of attention, built-in socialization, and a consistent routine. I know how important it is to keep pets safe and active while you are away, so I tailor our walks to your dog’s specific energy level. Our home is a warm, family-friendly space where your pup will be treated just like one of our own. I provide regular photo updates and transparent communication so you always have total peace of mind. I can't wait to meet your kid-friendly pup for some fun and exercise! Mornings between 8-11am as long as dogs are kid friendly. On weekends any time and I can also do anytime after 4pm on weekdays if needed. I treat your home with the utmost respect and keep your dog's safety as my top priority. During walks, I strictly follow your preferred routes, use secure leashes, and practice positive reinforcement. For drop-in visits, I stick closely to your established routine: feeding on time, refreshing water, administering any needed medications, and providing plenty of play and affection. Before leaving, I always double-check that your home is secure, the pup is settled, and I send you a detailed update with photos.
About: 2026 Update: Dear pet parents! I’m a full-time dog trainer (please take a look at my Trainer Profile on Rover for more info!). After the loss of my own baby boy, I’m not ready to adopt a pup just yet, and I’m here on Rover to provide loving, attentive care for your fur baby while you’re away. For boarding in my apartment, I’m looking to build a long-lasting relationship with your pup and create a safe and nurturing environment for their staycation. I provide exclusive, individualized one-on-one care, and I’m happy to incorporate training upon request. I’m only interested in working with responsible pet parents who support positive reinforcement–based training. Thank you, and Happy New Year! ___ Hello, 🐾 I’m Shar! — a movement educator, yoga instructor, running coach, certified dog trainer, and above all, a lifelong animal lover. With over 17 years of experience as a dedicated pet caregiver, I’m here to offer your beloved companion the highest level of care, whether it's daily walks, playtime, or just some cozy cuddle time. Your pet will be treated like family — with love, patience, and compassion. I joined Rover as a way to navigate the grief of losing my best friend of 14 years — my sweet boy, Bear. While I’m not ready to adopt again, I deeply miss the companionship of animals. Becoming a pet sitter through Rover has added a new layer of joy and healing to my life. While I’ve been pet sitting on and off for years, this more consistent connection with animals inspired me to take things further and become a full-time dog trainer. I’ve always connected with animals more easily than with people. I have extensive experience with both dogs and cats, including administering medication and working with reactive or senior pets who need a little extra TLC. I’m comfortable with unique pet personalities and always tailor my care to their individual needs. As an avid outdoors enthusiast, your pet will enjoy plenty of fresh air, happy walks, and exciting sniffing adventures. I provide one-on-one, individualized care — never walking or caring for multiple pets at once unless pre-approved by you. You'll receive daily photo and video updates, and I'm always happy to hop on a FaceTime call if you’d like to check in and see your fur baby while you're away. Please note: I’m selective when it comes to boarding pets in my home. I’m looking to connect with responsible, respectful pet parents who truly value their animal’s well-being. While your pet is with me, they’ll be treated as part of the family — with full access to cozy furniture, plenty of snuggles, and a calm, loving environment. If your pet isn't allowed on furniture, I’m likely not the right sitter for you. I also do not accept pets wearing prong collars or other training/control devices designed to cause pain, as my care philosophy is rooted in compassion and positive reinforcement. For any boarding requests longer than two nights, I require an overnight trial first — just to ensure your pet feels safe and comfortable in my space, and to make sure we’re the right fit for each other. I am self-employed and work from home in the wellness and fitness industry, which gives me the flexibility to adapt to both your and your pet's needs. My schedule is flexible and can easily be adjusted to ensure your pet receives the best care possible, including frequent walks, human companionship, and plenty of attention. FYI: At the moment, I’m not accepting regular dog-walking clients, but I’m happy to take your fur baby out occasionally! I offer exclusive, individualized walks and/or hikes tailored to your dog’s needs. I’m experienced with reactive dogs. Some pet parents ask me to take their more energetic dogs on 2-3 hour hikes in the woods. I call it a "Doggie Spa Day in the Forest," and the pups absolutely love it! I have easy access to several spacious parks and scenic tree-lined areas right outside my door, perfect for adventurous walks or playtime. I also have a car.
About: I have experience caring for three dogs. One was named Maia, an Australian Shepherd who belonged to my aunt. She was very energetic, and I spent a lot of time playing with her. I also cared for a German Shepherd named Rex. Although he was calmer, I played with him frequently as well. The third was Mango, a very small puppy with lots of energy. I fed all three dogs the appropriate amount of food based on their weight and at their scheduled feeding times. I also took them to the park regularly, although I took Mango less often because he was still a puppy. I am available to work on weekdays from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and I can also start as early as 8:00 AM when needed. During that time, I am happy to care for your pet by providing walks, feeding, playtime, companionship, and ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and well cared for throughout the day. If the visits involve feeding, I would stay with the pets to play, keep them company, and give them a little extra affection before leaving the owner's home—naturally, always within the limits and guidelines provided to me. As for walks, I would make sure to bring everything necessary to ensure the pet feels comfortable and has a good, playful time.

About: I have 6 years of experience caring for both dogs and cats of all ages and temperaments. I’m reliable, patient, and attentive with feeding, walks, playtime, and basic care. I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for like my own. I currently have full time availability to be able to pet sit while also help with any and all of your pet needs. . . I’m reliable, patient, and attentive with feeding, walks, playtime, and basic care. I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for like my own.
“Lili took care of our cat, Mishmish, while we were on vacation. She followed instructions to the T, and our elderly cat, who is usually pretty lethargic and not overly friendly, warmed up to her. We came back to clean litter box, swept floors, and our cat having fresh water and food. We will absolutely work with Lili again when we travel for extended period of time, and highly recommend her to any pet owner.”

About: I've spent the past two years in the dog care industry, working for an all-natural dog food company where I learned firsthand how nutrition, routine, and attentive care shape a dog's health and happiness. That experience taught me to pay close attention to the small things — appetite changes, energy levels, individual quirks — that make every dog unique. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and my own Yorkie is my best friend. Caring for her has taught me just how much patient, loving, attentive care matters, and it's exactly what I want to bring to every dog I look after. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, house sitting, and boarding, and I treat every dog in my care the way I'd want mine treated: with patience, consistency, and a lot of affection. Whether it's a quick walk, a weekend of boarding, or holding down the fort while you're away, I'll send photos and updates so you always know your pup is safe, comfortable, and loved. I am self-employed annd work from home so my schedule is very flexible. I take my dog on a long walk in Van Cortlandt in the morning and then usually do two more shorter walks throughout the day. I am happy to try to accommodate your schedule the best I can. I live in a pet friendly apartment in Riverdale that is right next to multiple parks. If I ever have to leave a dog in home by themselves I will always make sure calming music is playing, the place is at a comfortable temperature, and there is light.
“Noelle was so great with my cat, she was great at communicating even while I was in a diffeeent country, and she gave a picture with every visit, keeping me updated on how they got along.”

“Elisa did a great job. She was very respectful of our home and our pets. It is very evident that she cares about animals. We will absolutely use her anytime we are in need of a pet sitter. Thank you.”

“I found Jessica's profile to be warm and engaging with her "clients" so I decided to reach out as I needed last minute childcare for my furbabies. She reached out to me immediately and we were able to connect and do a visit. Im a worry wort as this would be the first time I was doing drop-ins vs. Overnight care. Jessica assured me that my babies were in great hands. She took excellent care of my furchildren. She kept me updated, took photos, and provided information on why one of my cat's was behaving aggressively (i found him abandoned in a small crate in my building two weeks before I had to leave town. Hence why I needed someone). He's soon to be snip snipped. She also played with them too which was awesome because they love that. She was a trooper and cared for my babies for 15 days. I would definitely recommend her and would use her again for her services.”

“We had a great experience with [Name] caring for our cats. She took the time to play with our very antsy cat and gave our shy, scaredy cat the space she needed, exactly as we requested. It was clear that she paid attention to each cat’s personality and needs. She was also very thoughtful about the little details, including rinsing out their food bowls so there were no lingering smells and making sure their medication was given with their food. We appreciated how attentive and caring she was while looking after our cats. We would definitely feel comfortable having her care for them again!”

About: I have had my own pets since I can remember ranging from cats, dogs, iguanas, hamsters, fish, salamanders, hermit crabs, and even chicks. Growing up, I spent my summers on my grandfather's farm raising cows, horses, pigs, cats, dogs, chickens and a rooster. I don't have and human kids but I have raised many fur babies. I am the go-to person for family and friends, especially for pets with very specific care instructions. I am in NYC; I drive and have a pretty flexible schedule at this time. My career outside of pets includes Human Resources Management and Operation Director at different schools. I am currently working for myself as a treat maker so I am very flexible with time. I also have a clean license and reliable transportation. I am currently in NYC but can travel to Westchester County and northern NJ as well. I love when a client gives me detailed instructions and will follow them to a tee. I am a very organized person with a high attention to detail who often goes above and beyond in everything I do. Because I have worked with children and at schools, I have been fingerprinted by NYS/NYC, Dept of Health and the NYC Dept of Ed.
“As a great dane dog parent it is hard to find someone who can handle a big dog. Marion has no issue, was very caring and patient with my big pup. Great communicator and sends lots of picture. 10/10 in my book.”

About: With over 10 years of pet sitting experience, our home has become a second home for countless furry friends. What started as a fun activity with my young son has grown into a true passion we continue to share. Now a spirited teenager, my son still brings the same energy and love to every pet we care for—ensuring each one gets plenty of attention, playtime, and cuddles. We live in a private apartment in a family-owned three-family house in Lower Westchester. Our home is clean, spacious, and pet-friendly, with a private deck and a small backyard perfect for fresh air and play. We’re also just a short walk from the beautifully updated Yonkers waterfront, where your pet will enjoy scenic strolls and outdoor fun. You won’t find a more dog-loving duo. Whether your pet is high-energy or prefers laid-back lounging, we’re happy to tailor our care to their unique needs and personality. We truly love what we do—and it shows. Feel free to reach out with any questions. We can’t wait to welcome your pet into our home! Pet care is a natural part of our daily routine. Since we’ve been pet sitting for over a decade, we’ve built our schedule around giving pets the attention and care they deserve. Morning and evening walks are part of our daily rhythm, and we make time throughout the day for play, feeding, and cuddle sessions. My teenage son is very involved—he loves helping with walks, playtime, and making sure each pet feels right at home. Whether we have one guest or a few, they’re always integrated into our family life with love and consistency. In our home, pets are treated like family. We provide a safe, clean, and loving environment where they can relax and be themselves. They have access to cozy spaces indoors, a private deck for fresh air, and a small backyard for outdoor time. We stick closely to each pet’s routine—whether it’s feeding schedules, medication, or special care instructions—to ensure a smooth and stress-free stay. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and routines. I make sure pets feel comfortable and secure, keeping things as familiar as possible. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or quiet companionship, I adapt to their individual needs while maintaining communication with the owner for peace of mind.
“I would definitely recommend Fallon— she was consistently prompt and responsive, and our care instructions were followed perfectly. Our shyest cat rarely makes an appearance when we have a cat sitter, and he was out and about from day 1.”

About: I’ve had my two cats for about three years now, and we’ve built a routine together around feeding, playing, sleeping, and everything in between. Every day when I walk through the door, they’re the first two to greet me. I make sure they’re always fed, clean, hydrated, well cared for, and most importantly, safe. I work full time during the week, so I’m generally unavailable during the day, but I’m usually free in the evenings after work and have full availability on weekends. I live in a two-bedroom, ground-floor apartment with a private, enclosed patio where my cats can safely explore outdoors without the risk of escaping. We also have an extra bedroom set up so they have their own space and time when they want it.

Wonderful cat sitter!!! So gentle and attentive with my cat who can sometimes be a challenge to read. Did everything we asked, sent videos and even took time to play with him and brush him. Will absolutely book again if we are out of town and need a cat sitter !

This is already strong! I’d just smooth out the repetition of “cat” and tighten it a little: Nicole went above and beyond taking care of my senior cat. He takes three different medications, and she was able to dispense them with no issues. She also sent a ton of pictures, including many of him being cuddly and sweet with her, which made me feel so at ease while I was away. I recommend Nicole 11/10!

Angelique is a consistent, caring sitter who I adore working with on a regular basis. She provides tons of pictures and clearly enjoys spending time with critters. She has even gotten my shyest cat comfortable with her- which is an achievement! Always grateful for her service.

So grateful of Aymet becoming my cat sitter. My cat took to her instantly upon the initial meet up. Aymet made sure my cat and house was well taken cared for during my absence. She was very attentive to my cat and her needs. I will definitely rebook her. My cat and myself is appriciatic

Amanda B. is an exceptionally kind and loving soul! She treated my cat Sonny with the utmost care, gentleness, affection, and expertise. Sonny absolutely adores her! I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for someone who is professional, punctual and genuinely loves animals, to care for their fur babies. They will be in the very best hands.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
