“Lori came to my home to feed my cat and empty the litter box for two days. She was completely reliable and when I came back, my cat was well fed, watered and my home was neat. I can recommend her without reservation!”

“This was our first time getting a cat sitter at first we were nervous but once we read the positive reviews on Jennifer’s profile we contacted right away. Jennifer was amazing with our cat Alejandro. He’s still a kitten and she played with him as much as he wanted to play. She’s really good at reading his body language and giving him affection. She took really good care of him and put our minds at ease while on vacation. We will definitely use her again our cat just loves her.”

“Caleb is all around amazing! Very reliable, responsible, thoughtful and was extremely kind to our pets. It really made our life much easier while we were away to have Caleb caring for our animals. Highly recommend!”

About: Hi, I’m Nia! 👋 I’m a dedicated pet owner to two pups of my own, so I understand exactly how important trust, routine, and communication are when someone else is caring for your furry family. Whether your pet needs a reliable walk, a calm companion, or consistent daily care, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable while you’re away. 🐾 Pet Owner Experience I already manage daily schedules, walks, feeding, and training for my own dogs—so caring for yours comes with experience, patience, and genuine love. 📸 Clear Communication You’ll get real-time updates, photos, and quick messages so you always know how your pet is doing. ⏱️ Routine-Focused Care If your pet thrives on structure, you’re in the right place. I’ll follow your routine exactly—walks, meals, medications, and preferred routes. 🏡 Home-Respectful If I’m visiting your home, I take it seriously. I tidy up water bowls, bring in packages, wipe paws after walks, and keep your space secure. Availability ⏰ I offer walks and drop-in visits during the following hours: Weekdays: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM Weekends: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM Requests outside of these hours may be accommodated on a case-by-case basis, depending on availability. I’m big on consistency. As a pet owner myself, I know how much animals rely on their routine, so I follow your pet’s schedule exactly. A typical visit includes: • On-time walks at their usual pace and preferred route • Feeding exactly how and when you specify • Fresh water and a quick tidy of their eating area • Playtime or enrichment based on your pet’s energy level • Bathroom breaks on a predictable schedule • Updates with photos after each visit so you always know how your pet is doing If your pet has special needs—medications, slow feeding, crate time, training cues—I’ll build that right into the routine. Your pet’s safety is my top priority. I care for every pet like I care for my own two dogs—cautiously, attentively, and with respect for their space. Here’s how I keep your pet safe and comfortable: • No off-leash walking unless it’s in a secure, owner-approved area • Secure home entry and exit (doors locked, lights as instructed) • Paw wipes after walks when needed • Avoiding crowded or stressful areas for pets who are reactive or nervous • Following all house rules—furniture, crates, baby gates, food restrictions • Maintaining a calm atmosphere so your pet feels relaxed in their own environment If I’m in your home, I’m respectful of your space and can also bring in packages, water plants, or keep an eye on anything you’d like.
“We have used Jorge multiple times when needing someone to look after our cats. He’s great and the cats adore him. He is very communicative, send lots of pictures and always puts our mind at ease that the cats are getting the best care possible.”

“Kristine was great! Her check-in’s were perfect and made me feel so much better about being away from my pet. She was thorough and consistent and my cat was very well cared for. Will definitely book with Kristine again!”

“Vanessa was amazing! She went above and beyond when caring for Obie, sent update photos and videos, always kept me in the loop when necessary, and followed all instructions to a T. She was the first person I booked using this platform and it was the first time I left Obie alone and she not only made the process feel seamless, but halfway through my trip, I knew I’d book her in the future. Highly recommend!”

“From the moment we walked through her front door my cat felt at home. Esther was caring and calming. My cat loved her and would behave the same as if she was at our house. Esther provided regular photo and video updates and we didn’t have to worry while away. I would leave my cat with her anytime without second thought.”

About: As a mom myself (both a dog-mom and human-mom!), I know how hard it is to leave your little fur baby behind to enjoy a fun vacation or business trip but I can assure you that with lots of photos and text updates that your little pup or kitty will be so happy in our animal-loving home! We are a vegan household so needless to say, we do not discriminate against any little or big creature (well, maybe just spiders!). Your pup will have the best care, all the couch snuggles, nice walks on grassy Pehlam Parkway dirt paths, fetch games and timely food/drink care! My 6 year old will endlessly read to him/her and my 3 year old will give them all the scratches! They are VERY good with all dogs big or small and understand the limits, they will never be left unattended with your pup! We lost our Golden Retriever and Coonhound this year and just looking to fill the small void in our home <3! So go on your trip and let us go on some fun exploring walks! Please message me with any questions! I currently work from home full time and am very active and willing to walk dog at any time in any weather... and weekends consist of some sort of activity with our children that would require us to be out of the house for 2-4 hours, no more. We have a 2 bedroom apartment with a very large living room and very large windows that dogs love to look out of! You are welcome to bring your dog bed, we have plenty of space, and a nice dark hallway if they want some peace and quiet :)
“Michelle always goes above and beyond to make sure my cats are well fed and entertained, and she keeps them and their areas neat and clean… I know they look forward to seeing her whenever I’m out of town… and, I look forward to all of her pictures and communications throughout her visits..”

About: I’m pretty into fitness but don’t know if I am an introvert or extrovert so I enjoy both cats and dogs I meet. I can match the energy for large dogs and also read when they may react to something while giving space and being precious with how some cat prefer to play or manage their space . Is important to me that a space is kept clean, and habits are the overtime to maintain a space and animal health. Forgetting to do a litter box, one day happens, but forgetting to do it constantly can lead to your pet killing a fungal infection, and having a lot of pain in the limbs they walk on. I like to take a systems thinking approach, and things like a few times a week and cleaning your space everyday and securing unsafe spaces is super important . I work in retail and the service industry so I would love to transition out of that soon as hour can be short or sparse this time of year and build my photography business. Taking care of pets and having pet models for my portfolio would be great as well as the time to be active and have fun as I focus on building these foundational skills. I’ve already done the hectic schedule of chasing shifts downtown for the last 2 years so if I could have slower days and have clients closer to me that would be great. To me a very successful play session involves observing the pet where they are,and how they interact because I am a guest in their space firstly, and giving them attention and love is my first priority. I don’t care that I may start out at a Lower rate or XYNZ is out of my pay grade. I’m not leaving a fecal mess or putting my headphones on, and turning Netflix and putting my feet up during a session because I can . The TV will always be there but the emotions and potential reactive response of a pet that might start biting plants or getting into stuff they shouldn’t —can lead to a permanent result. I want the pets I care to stay interested or at least rest and feel comfortable in their space and know that some one is there to feed them and respond to their needs or at least be willing to figure out what they need and not dismiss them. I have been trained by another company called Big City Wolf on proper dog handling and plan to get my animal CPR training this March and apply to work at the new ACS center in Coop city .

About: Through hands-on rescue work, I’ve cared for dogs with every temperament—puppies, seniors, anxious rescues, and large breeds—teaching me how to read body language, build trust, and provide calm, confident care. I’m highly experienced with puppies and basic training, including leash manners, crate training, and foundational commands like sit, stay, and recall, using positive reinforcement and consistency. I believe structure and patience help dogs feel safe and thrive. I live in a dog-friendly apartment community with a secure, fenced-in animal area where pups can safely run, play, and enjoy fresh air. We’re also surrounded by parks and beautiful walking paths, perfect for enrichment, exercise, and relaxed strolls. My love for animals is unmatched, and dogs are not just part of my life—they are my priority. I care for every dog as if they were my own, tailoring attention to their individual needs so they feel safe, happy, and truly at home. I value transparent, open communication and will always keep you updated for total peace of mind. I can’t wait to meet your beautiful fur baby! Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I plan my schedule around feedings, walks, and playtime, so pets receive consistent attention, structure, and plenty of one-on-one care. My rescue experience has taught me the importance of structure, safety, and trust. I maintain a clean, secure environment, supervise pets closely, follow routines, and communicate clearly to ensure pets feel safe and cared for at all times.
Pelham Manor cat parents share their Rover experiences
Lorre & Antonio are superstars! They were so great with our cats and so thorough. Very communicative and sent so many drop-in pictures 2x daily. They were able to administer insulin injections to my diabetic cat which is a huge plus. They really kept on top of everything and the apartment was just how we left it (our Vicky is a messy eater who hairballs). They took the time to play and brush Louis & Victoria as well. I very highly recommend Lorre & Antonio. We will be booking them again for our future trips. Thanks so much again!

Kimberly is so kind and took great care of our boys while we were out. She was willing to learn how to give our cat Frankie his insulin injection and was so careful and communicative with us throughout the whole process to make sure she got the dose just right! Frankie and Pablo were both happy and well taken care of when we got back home and we will definitely ask Kimberly to help us again in the future.

Can’t say enough good things, but I’ll try to keep this brief. Symba is equally responsible and personable (please note: due to timing we were never able to meet face-to-face, and yet this is the wonderful impression he left!) He was perfectly communicative without it ever feeling excessive. I never once worried about my cats, they were obviously in great hands. Most impressive: my EXTREMELY shy cat warmed up to him almost immediately, as proven by the plethora of pictures he sent 😍

Vanessa was amazing! Highly recommend!
