About: I grew up in the Dominican Republic, where seeing stray dogs struggling in solitude and hunger was unfortunately part of the daily life. As a child, I used to dream of growing up and owning a big house where I could shelter as many dogs as possible. Although I haven’t reached that dream yet, the intention behind it remains as a primary motivation guiding me through life. As a senior in college, my spring semester brings a lot of flexibility with time, which I am truly grateful for. During these past four years at school, I have been a commuter. Commuting to school has taught me to be punctual and organized. Navigating the MTA on the daily basis has also allowed me to plan ahead of time, be proactive, and explore the city in an efficient and effective manner. Pet care fits into my routine because I can transfer my skills of discipline and attentiveness. I will plan my days carefully to ensure that the pets receive consistent attention, timely walks, feedings and maintain their organize structured. Both the pets and their parents will become a priority in my schedule so that I can respect both of their routine, allow them to flow, and value their time. Additionally, my flexibility this semester would allow me to walk the pets and drop in for visits in the morning, afternoon, and evening on the weekends and most weekdays. I can also house sit or dog board from Thursday- Monday. I live by the golden rule, to treat others the way I would like to be treated. I aim to transfer this rule during pet care by creating a clean, cozy, safe and fun environment where the pets feel comfortable and secure, whether we are in my home or in theirs. I want to be attentive to their routines and treat it with respect to suit their individuals needs. I am excited to take them on walks, and hopefully continue to be booked begrow to understand the different ways in which they communicate and interact with the world. My goal is to become a friend to the puppies and provide environments where the puppies feel truly at home.
About: I have always been an animal lover. I have my own fur baby who I love dearly. I have taken care of my friends and families pets since I treat them as my own. I work from home full-time which allows me to give your fur baby all the attention he or she needs. Because my schedule is flexible this will allow me to be easily accessible to my clients. “I had to leave my old and sick Lab for almost two weeks over the holidays and was extremely nervous about finding someone to take care of him. Grace and Luis took great care of him and kept me updated constantly throughout the trip, including letting me know when they had a concern immediately . They were also unfazed by his medicine schedule. My dog had also been having by some accidents inside so I provided diapers but was very nervous about that happening while we were away and Grace again was completely unfazed by it and took the time to get to know his potty schedule to minimize accidents. Additionally my vet would not refill his prescription before we left so I had to ask Grace to pick it up at CVS which she did happily. I am very grateful for the good care they took of Nash and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for dog boarding.”

I am happy to wear a mask when interacting with humans in your home if requested - I may also mask for my safety. For dogs' safety, I do not take dogs to dog parks, take them off-leash, or simultaneously walk dogs from different households unless I am extremely familiar with the dogs' behavior and the activity is approved by the owners.

“I had to leave my old and sick Lab for almost two weeks over the holidays and was extremely nervous about finding someone to take care of him. Grace and Luis took great care of him and kept me updated constantly throughout the trip, including letting me know when they had a concern immediately . They were also unfazed by his medicine schedule. My dog had also been having by some accidents inside so I provided diapers but was very nervous about that happening while we were away and Grace again was completely unfazed by it and took the time to get to know his potty schedule to minimize accidents. Additionally my vet would not refill his prescription before we left so I had to ask Grace to pick it up at CVS which she did happily. I am very grateful for the good care they took of Nash and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for dog boarding.”

From the very beginning, both Sayarlin and her husband were incredibly kind, caring, and attentive with our "big boy", who think he is a Chihuahua. One thing I especially appreciated is that they have access to an outdoor space in New York, allowing Lio to get fresh air and feel comfortable outside of the apartment setting.
