“Shana is a very prepared sitter. When we did an initial visit, she brought a notepad and took lots of notes. My building uses the Latch app and while we didn't struggle with this at first, unfortunately on the day of Shana's visit, it decided it needed to be updated, which can be really confusing for visitors. She was able to get it to work and get inside to take care of my two cats. She sent lots of great photos and they warmed up to her right away. I'd definitely book again :)”

As a kid I helped take care of the family beagle for over a decade (plus various fish, mice, and hermit crabs along the way), then as an adult I owned a rescue cat for 10 years and cared for her through the cancer that eventually ended her life. I have been a trusted sitter on Rover since Jan. 2024, and I love spending time with others’ pets until I have my own again someday. Fun fact: I also have livestock experience! Since 2021 I’ve had the pleasure of working with farm animals like pigs, chickens, ducks, goats, and even a dairy cow 🐮 I work 4 days a week and find out my schedule two weeks in advance, so I’m the best fit for pets with flexible routines who can potentially be left unattended for 9 hours at a time. About: Hello! I can’t wait to help out and take care of your pets. I’m from Duvall, WA, and grew up with two dogs and a cat. My dog Ginger was an Australian Bulldog (known for their allergies), so I have experience getting creative when it comes to giving medication and applying ear drops. My second dog, Reese, was a Havanese. We adopted him when he was already a senior—his previous owners had become too old to care for him. Even though Reese was an old man, he still had plenty of energy, though his favorite thing was simply sitting beside us and being petted. Growing up in Duvall, many of my friends had pets too—not just cats and dogs, but also horses, goats, and chickens. I helped out with them from time to time, giving me a wide range of experience with different animals. I’m looking forward to meeting your furry family members! I currently work full-time in Seattle, Monday through Friday. On weekdays, I'm available for check-ins or walks in the early morning before 6:30 AM and in the evening after 5:30 PM. On weekends, I'm available anytime! I take care of my pets by making sure they are given attention and a healthy environment and of course the basic needs food, water, exercise etc…

Her gentle and competent demeanor were just right for our kitties. Our more outgoing cat greeted her at the door and followed her everywhere and our very shy cat actually came out of hiding for tummy rubs (which she never does for strangers!). Yujin conscientiously followed our requests and fed them, changed their water, and scooped boxes. She even washed their bowls! And most important, Yujin took some time to play and cuddle with the cats. Her reports and photos of them were lovely and reassured us that she was the right sitter for our kitties. Five stars!”
