“Cecil was great! Our three cats are trouble makers but Cecil made it so that we didn’t have to worry about them while my husband and I were on our honeymoon! Will definitely be booking with Cecil in the future (:”

About: I’ve had a love and passion for not only animals, but helping people since I was a kid. So, why not combine both passions into one? Hi! I’m Megan, and I want to help you with all of your furry (and possibly non-furry) needs. I offer services such as medication management, training in simple commands, senior care and more. I have pretty open availability, so whenever you need care for your pet, I am just a message away! I work part-time early in the mornings, so I have plenty of time for your animals! I am available every day, from walks, to staying over night, I’m your person! I do not do boarding, however, I’m more than glad to sit for your furry friend whenever you may need! I can crate your animals over night, and make sure they’re out first thing in the morning. I can slip their medication in some treats, so they can’t get out of taking them, and help your older animals with some mobility!
About: I love animals and I treat them all as If they were mine. I've always been the pet sitter when friends and fam go out of town. I also have 5 cats of my own 3 inside 2 outside. My schedule is very open and available to take care of your pets. I am also available for the weekends and available for overnight stays as well. I spend time with the pets giving them love and attention. Taking them out for walks if needed and also just following whatever instructions the pet owner gives to ensure Everything the pet needs is taken care of.
“Brittany is the best cat sitter I’ve ever had! My cat is hard to please and he LOVED her. She provides PLENTY of pictures which is exactly what a fur momma wants when away. I could not recommend Brittany more!!!”

“Katlyn did an amazing job with my baby justice. I enjoyed and appreciated all the pictures she sent and really felt like she cared for my baby as if they were one of her own. She was also very professional and wasn’t afraid to ask questions. Definitely recommend booking with her I know I will.”

“Kalena is a lovely sitter, and I felt so comfortable with her doing drop in visits for my dog. I just got home and he seems so happy after over a week! Will definitely book again if she’s available.”

“First time using Rover so I was nervous but Kamron put me right at ease. He was friendly and listened well to my instructions. My cats warmed up to him right away and one of my cats doesn’t like strangers. His daily notes and photos were great and each day I was away I felt at ease knowing they were in good hands I would highly recommend Kamron.”

“Tiffany was perfect! She stopped by, checked on my babies and even played with them for a few and sent photos. I really appreciate her squeezing me and my babies in at the last minute we are beyond appreciative!”

About: I am a wildlife biologist for the Georgia DNR working for the Urban Wildlife Program. I have years of experience dog-sitting, primarily for large- and medium-sized dogs in the Chicago area. My work schedule is very flexible, allowing me to take my time to care for your critters! A large part of my job is responding to wildlife emergencies using years of experience and best-judgment decision making, which makes for a great pet-sitter. I am a wildlife biologist that works from home in Decatur. My workload is quite low so it is easy to fit pet care into my schedule throughout the week. My flexible schedule affords me ample time to provide proper attention to animals. I have a calm demeanor with strong attention to detail when it comes to care instruction. My experience as a wildlife biologist has trained me how to monitor animals for emergencies and how to be calm in the face of the unknown or unexpected. I am used to following strict research protocol, so following along for the care of your animal will be a breeze.
“Alexandria was awesome! She is knowledgeable, compassionate and professional. She goes above and beyond expectations and is very accommodating. No question…would use her again 1000x over! She is way more than she charges💕”

“Ashleigh was truly the best with our cat Chet. He’s usually so slow to warm up to anyone and he warmed up to her so fast! He was his spunky self around her and she went above and beyond to take care of him. From turning on bird TV during the visits and always making sure he had his favorite treats or toy out. She even just made sure the house was clean while we’re away. Couldnt recommend more! Will absolutely be using her again and again!”

“5 Stars! Darayell is absolutely amazing with my dog, Bryxx! From the moment we met, I could tell she genuinely cares about animals. She keeps me updated with messages and adorable photos, which made me feel so at ease Bryxx clearly feels comfortable and loved — happy, calm, and well cared for. I truly appreciate the attention and affection she gives him. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Darayell again. Highly recommend!”

About: Hi, I'm Jessica—Your Go-To for Dogs Others Turn Away If your dog's been labeled "too much" for sitters or walkers, that's exactly my specialty. I'm a little scattered with timing, but I'm solid when it counts—handling aggressive or reactive breeds with patience, zero judgment, and a deep understanding of what they truly need. It all started with my sweet dog Chip, who was killed just because he looked a certain way—despite his gentle nature. That heartbreak opened my eyes to how often people misunderstand dogs, confusing true aggression with fear-based reactivity. Through research, I learned this leads to pups not getting the mental and physical stimulation they crave, making things harder for them. Now, I specialize in providing just that: enriching, tailored activities to help them thrive safely and confidently. I share my home with Juzai, my leash-reactive German Shepherd mix, who had a challenging puppyhood before me. When Chip died, it traumatized him, leading to his fear-based reactivity toward strangers but we've worked through a lot together. Plus, there's Baby, my well-balanced 1.5 year-old pit mix, who's a total sweetheart. Before them, I managed two pit bulls with real aggression issues learning their triggers, reading body language, de-escalating tension, and building trust. That hands on experience, plus my ongoing education, shapes how I care for the spicy dogs. I'm pursuing my training certification and starting my own business specically tailored to the gentle souls im talking about. Whether your pup pulls, lunges, growls, or just needs extra space to feel secure, I'll meet them where they are offering calm, structured environments, scent sensitive spaces, and nutrition focused routines. (Note: I focus on sitting, walking, or drop-in services—no boarding available.) I never leave any dog alone for more than 6 hours, and schedules can flex a bit based on needs—I'm scattered but I know the struggle of finding someone who gets it—I've been there myself. That's why I offer flexible, informed care without conditions: real understanding, stimulation, and a chance for every dog to shine. Let's chat about your pup and create a plan that works. At this time I am unavailable for boarding due to a full house of pups that need a little more patience and care. Unfortunately, these current residents do better with little to no new interactions with other dogs.
“Dan was wonderful and so great with our girls! He was attentive and patient with everyone and we can’t wait to work with him again in the future! Awesome individual to work with!”

“Benjamin was absolutely wonderful with Blu and Puddin! From the very first message he was communicative, professional, and genuinely caring. It's not easy finding someone you can trust with a high-energy Husky AND a 13-year-old teacup Yorkie, but Ben handled both of them with ease. He followed all of our care instructions perfectly and gave us total peace of mind while we were away. Puddin can be a delicate little lady and Blu keeps you on your toes, but Ben took it all in stride. We came home to two happy, well cared for pups and that says everything. We will definitely be booking with Ben again; highly recommend! 🐾”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of June 2026, there are 90 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Wishing Well Hills. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
