About: My preferred name is Leo. I've been caring for animals for most of my life. Growing up, I was responsible for helping care for three family dogs, including feeding, walking, playing with them, and making sure they were happy and well cared for. I also grew up around cats, as my mom had several throughout the years, so I'm very comfortable caring for cats of all ages and personalities. Today, I have a cat of my own, so I understand the daily responsibility and attention that pets need. I'm patient, dependable, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. Whether your pet needs exercise, playtime, companionship, or simply someone to keep them safe and comfortable while you're away, I'll treat them with the same love and care I give my own pets. My schedule is very flexible, and I'm available seven days a week, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and overnight stays. I currently care for my own cat, who is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and well loved. I make sure all of my houseplants are non-toxic to pets, keep anything potentially dangerous out of reach, and provide plenty of toys, enrichment, and a cat tree for play and relaxation. I'm attentive to each pet's individual needs and always make sure they have fresh food and water, a clean space, exercise, affection, and plenty of attention. I also have experience helping cats socialize through supervised playdates with friends' cats, so I understand how to create a calm, safe, and positive environment. About: I am a wildlife biologist for the Georgia DNR working for the Urban Wildlife Program. I have years of experience dog-sitting, primarily for large- and medium-sized dogs in the Chicago area. My work schedule is very flexible, allowing me to take my time to care for your critters! A large part of my job is responding to wildlife emergencies using years of experience and best-judgment decision making, which makes for a great pet-sitter. I am a wildlife biologist that works from home in Decatur. My workload is quite low so it is easy to fit pet care into my schedule throughout the week. About: I've owned dogs my entire life. My family has a special place in their hearts for dogs. We've had multiple at once with each set. I'm open days and nights. Dogs seem to always love me because maybe they smell the upbeat personality I am very willingly to share with them. About: I've had pets my entire life and have been through every stage, from bottle babies to seniors, and I've never met an animal I didn't love. I have volunteered in shelters throughout the years, so I have plenty of experience cleaning up after animals and dispensing medication, when necessary. I work in academia, so my schedule is very flexible, and I can check in on pets and go for walks in the middle of the day. I work in academia, so aside from the odd meeting, I have a flexible schedule. I also have the freedom to work from home when needed, so I can be home when we have visitors. I have four cats, so I can only host cats in the house. We have rooms with closed doors where my cats aren't allowed, so any visitors can have their own space if needed. At a client's house, I'll gladly stop by for an informal visit to meet your pet, learn their routine, and collect keys.

About: I’ve taken care of pets and animals for an incredibly long time. Since I was a child, even. I grew up with dogs and cats. All of my friends ask me to petsit for them because I am so good at it. I’m perceptive, can multitask very well, and caring. I’m also very good at following directions to a T. I love animals, and naturally, my own heart yearns to protect animals to keep them safe and happy. Sitting does this for me, and I am grateful for this. I can take care of all types of dog breeds and cat breeds. Including fish, reptiles, and rodents. Even the “scarier ones”, like spiders or snakes. I’m currently working by picking up random jobs when I am available. And so, I can truly choose whenever to work. My availability is incredibly flexible. My availability is literally all the time. Depending on the house I’m sitting at, I’ll improvise. But, if I do notice that something needs to be done or brought in order to keep those pets safe and sound, I will absolutely go grab it or have it delivered so I can find a solution.
