About: Welcome to your furbaby's holiday hotel. I have experience with all shapes and sizes of dogs. I have always had dogs in my home and taking care of dogs is one of my passions. I understand how important our dogs are in a family and will honor any request to make your dog's stay as comfortable and close to home as possible. In my home, I have a completely fenced backyard, with tons of space for our guests to run around. I have a fur son named Jack and he is very friendly. Fur babies will not be left alone for more than 1-2 hours at a time. My pick-up and drop-off hours are between 7 am-7 pm, if drop-off or pick-up times need to be before or after these times I ask that you please send the request for the day before/after. I look forward to becoming a part of your dog's family. I am currently working from home so your babies will not be alone. If I need to go out I will only be gone for 1-2 hours. I have a fenced-in yard for the dogs to play in. All animals can lay on all furniture. I ask that you bring their crate. If you require me to come to your house. About: Hello! I grew up in New Jersey and have called Georgia home for the last 8 years. As early as I can remember, I’ve loved being around animals of all shapes and sizes. I bond easily with most animals because I am a kind, calm, and confident person. My friends call it a nurturing spirit because countless times I have been to a gathering or party and someone's pet decided that I was their new best friend. When I started living on my own in Atlanta, I decided it was time to adopt my first pets as an adult. I adopted two seniors who still had so much love to share. Their names were Brittanica (the cat) and Roberta (the dog). Both were diagnosed with chronic illnesses that required IV fluids and maintenance medications that had to be given on particular schedules. With advice from their care team, I made sure that each interaction for treatment was a positive experience. Sometimes I pulled out all the stops with treats, bundling them in a blanket, and setting up a soothing environment. If your pet requires such treatments, written notes would be appreciated so I can reference the process as much as possible. My current pets are younger than my first two and keep me on my toes! We have a lot of fluffy fun as Stellaluna is a sweetheart, longhaired domestic cat and Sir Waddles Von Wigglebutt is a very friendly, laid back corgi. We have a good routine where the first thing we do when we wake up is pre-breakfast cuddle time! There have been times where we’ve needed to be flexible and eat breakfast first though. My day-to-day is structured so that I can get steps in with Waddles and I can set up enrichment activities for his working dog nature. Often you’ll see us with the Atlanta Corgi group so he can be a social butterfly. If the weather isn’t great or I have a deadline to meet at work, he’ll stay home and do puzzles. Other hobbies that fit in my schedule include playing DND or board games, doing dog training classes with Waddles, and watching TV with Stella. When it comes to taking care of your pets, I will make sure that we keep to the routine they’re most familiar with too! We’ll do videos and pics as much as we can during the visit. My goal with each visit is that your pet is treated well and feels like they’re getting their own vacation even though they’ll be missing you. I work in the film industry in post production and I work remotely from home. I will have plenty of time to play and check on your furry friend for scheduled appointments. When I do not have an active contract, I enjoy taking longer walks and playing with your pet extra with your pet. To guarantee more than 30 minutes of play time, please book my 60 min visits. Safety is a top priority when I am taking care of animals. Regardless of how well trained a pet is, they are animals and are unpredictable at times. For that reason, when walking your dog, I will make sure that it is on leash unless we are in your fenced yard. If your dog is staying over with me, a crate is necessary so they have their own space where they’re safe when I’m not home. I do have a cat so if your dog is not cat friendly, we will not be able to work together. I believe in strong communication and transparency. About: I understand animal behaviors and aspire to be a trainer eventually. While working in a boarding facility I noticed the dogs were not happy, uneasy and confused. About: I am a wildlife biologist for the Georgia DNR working for the Urban Wildlife Program. I have years of experience dog-sitting, primarily for large- and medium-sized dogs in the Chicago area. My work schedule is very flexible, allowing me to take my time to care for your critters! A large part of my job is responding to wildlife emergencies using years of experience and best-judgment decision making, which makes for a great pet-sitter. I am a wildlife biologist that works from home in Decatur. My workload is quite low so it is easy to fit pet care into my schedule throughout the week. My flexible schedule affords me ample time to provide proper attention to animals. I have a calm demeanor with strong attention to detail when it comes to care instruction. My experience as a wildlife biologist has trained me how to monitor animals for emergencies and how to be calm in the face of the unknown or unexpected. I am used to following strict research protocol, so following along for the care of your animal will be a breeze.
About: Beyond my four years of on and off fostering of cats and dogs, I have cared for an array of animals, including dogs, cats, horses, fish, and small rodents throughout my entire life. Being someone who is not only interested in having fun with your pets, I am also interested in improving their development, physically and mentally! I am currently raising a four month old puppy, and with pet schools being sky high I have developed my own little methods of keeping pets busy and happy throughout the day to ensure your pet will sleep peacefully all night long. Although I am not a professional trainer and am someone who has just learned from experience, I will try my best to assist owners in any corrective behavior or skills you'd like to develop. I look forward to both spending time with your pets and keeping them busy and happy! :) I am currently a college student, but I have plenty of time throughout the week and weekend for your pets! Monday-Thursday, I am available for boarding, dog walking, and drop in visits (after 3 pm), and Friday-Sunday I am available all day for any service you might need. I am also available for holidays or any extended time period you may need, and can't wait to hear from you! I have a spacious apartment with plenty of activities for your pets, and also large crates that will keep your pet company if they aren't very social. I also have a very friendly, german shepherd puppy who loves making friends with both cats and dogs. I am also in close vicinity to many large parks and trails, ensuring your pet will get ample outside play time as well! I am also available for in-home and walking services, and will provide any equipment you are missing, so no worries!
About: I've had pets my entire life and love animals. I treat them with love and respect as well as positive reinforcement. I am familiar with dog training and crate training (I have trained my last three dogs). I give lots of love, walks, and affection. I am a stay at home mom and all of my children are in school now. My main obligation is taking the kids to and from school, and other than that, I'm completely free to play with pets. I have a large fenced in yard and an awesome trail to walk in my neighborhood for dogs who love to walk. My dog is crate trained and likes to spend a few hours of quiet time in his crate every day. I am currently raising kittens who are crate trained but mostly like to roam freely.
