“Lauren was very responsive to messages, gave daily updates with pictures on her visits and my kitties seemed to love her! Will definitely be seeing if she's available the next time I need a pet sitter.”

“This was our first time hiring Leah to take care of our three cats. We were very impressed and she paid attention to many close details we wanted done while we were gone. I can tell she actually cares and listened to us. Our cats are very social and like human attention. We purposely hired Leah on some visits to be an hour long so she can spend quality time with our cats. It was important to us that our cats receive the quality care and attention they deserve. Leah was always on time in stopping by and feeding our babies. If anything was of concern, she let us know and kept us up to date. She also helped medicate one of our cats while we were gone for a whole week. Whenever we travel again, Leah will be the pet sitter we will hire again.”

“Isabelle took wonderful care of my cats while I was on vacation. She was communicative and provided lots of photos which eased my mind, as I get nervous leaving them. I highly recommend her!”

About: While I've had pets my entire life, I've professionally cared for the animals of others for nearly 10 years. While I was in the Army, I fostered for a local rescue and did the basic training and socialization for young, abandoned puppies to get them ready for forever homes. While pursuing my BS of Animal Science at ISU (Class of '19) I worked at Lloyd Veterinary Medical Hospital with equines of all ages, and spent several years as professional Animal caretaker working at the USDA with small animals. I have experience with dogs and cats, young and old, as well as rodents and other small animal pets, geckos, and freshwater aquarium fish. I am semi-retired, and work my own hours part time so schedule is flexible and it's easy for me to fit your pet(s) into my daily life Your pets will be most comfortable in their own environment, and I am committed to caring for them in a way most similar to what they are accustomed to.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I can remember! Growing up I had a Black Lab Golden Retriever mix, and I would take him on walks, feed him, and play with him every day. I’ve also done lots of volunteering at the Juneau Animal Rescue to help with walking the dogs and playing with them. This past summer I also cared for a senior Chihuahua. I love animals of all ages and sizes, and can’t wait to meet your pet! I currently have a flexible schedule! I am available to provide pet care on Sundays anytime after 12:00 pm, Tuesdays anytime after 2:30 pm, Wednesdays anytime after 11:00 am, and some Thursdays after 2:30 pm! I can also be available on Saturdays if needed! In an environment where I provide pet care I like to ensure and fun and supervised environment! I love playing fetch, tug-o-war, going on walks/runs, and accommodating any other needs for your pet! I am always open to trying any activities or care that works for you and your pet!

“Ellie watched our cats while we were out of the country and she did a fantastic job! Sometimes they are crazy after we leave them at home for a while but they were so calm and content!”

“Michele did a wonderful job looking after our ferrets. We have a unique situation where one is super hyper and needs to burn off a ton of extra energy and the other one is older, laid back and just needs to stretch out and lounge. She made sure both got exactly what they needed. We came home to two happy fuzzies with spotless cages, fresh water and full food bowls. We’d definitely recommend her. She’s a great pet sitter!”

“Awesome sitter! They did an amazing job and truly went above and beyond for my pup. I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in such caring and capable hands. Highly recommend!”

About: I have grown up with pets all my life, starting at the age of 7. My family currently has three dogs (one small and two medium) that I care for regularly. I am able to walk the three on a lease comfortably and have played a large role in training them. Although I prefer dogs, I grew up with a cat that I loved and cared for. I am able to provide compassion and care to a variety of pet personalities. With years of experience caring for cats and dogs, I understand how important it is to find a sitter/ walker you can trust. Whether your pet needs playtime, a dependable routine or just company, I’m here to provide loving and reliable care. I just received my Doctorate of Physical Therapy in May and am currently studying for the licensure exam that will be at the end of July. My availability is open as I have the freedom to adjust my study schedule as needed. I care for pets in their home by meeting them where they are at; literally and personality wise. With three dogs of my own at home, I am unable to watch your pet outside of their home. In caring for your pet in their environment it helps reduce stress and attempt to maintain any form of routine they have. I am considerate of multiple personalities and consciously make an effort to accommodate the pets needs. With dogs I have watched in the past, I attempt to give them familiarity with their routine, within mine and their comfort. I walk familiar roads/paths, feed them on their schedule (if possible) and attain to any of their needs. I will use any devices/ equipment you typically use and will prioritize safety outside the home (using leases, collars, etc.).
