About: While I've had pets my entire life, I've professionally cared for the animals of others for nearly 10 years. While I was in the Army, I fostered for a local rescue and did the basic training and socialization for young, abandoned puppies to get them ready for forever homes. While pursuing my BS of Animal Science at ISU (Class of '19) I worked at Lloyd Veterinary Medical Hospital with equines of all ages, and spent several years as professional Animal caretaker working at the USDA with small animals. I have experience with dogs and cats, young and old, as well as rodents and other small animal pets, geckos, and freshwater aquarium fish. I am semi-retired, and work my own hours part time so schedule is flexible and it's easy for me to fit your pet(s) into my daily life Your pets will be most comfortable in their own environment, and I am committed to caring for them in a way most similar to what they are accustomed to.
About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I can remember! Growing up I had a Black Lab Golden Retriever mix, and I would take him on walks, feed him, and play with him every day. I’ve also done lots of volunteering at the Juneau Animal Rescue to help with walking the dogs and playing with them. This past summer I also cared for a senior Chihuahua. About: I have grown up with pets all my life, starting at the age of 7. My family currently has three dogs (one small and two medium) that I care for regularly.
