About: I am experienced, responsible, friendly and loved by pets of all ages. Get reliable pet sitting from someone who’s raised a Westie and wrangled puppies. I live and work locally in Lakeland. Available for midday walks and sitting evenings/weekends. I am happy to provide snuggles, walks, park trips, feeding and treats. “Our girls may be a little spoiled but Josh treats them as his own, keeps them in their routine and they love him. I trust him with my pets and my home. Thank you Josh!!”

“We had Kylee come check on our dogs while we were at the beach for 6 days. We were nervous to leave our dogs since we had never left them with a sitter for more than 1 day. Kylee was INCREDIBLE and kept us updated on how they were doing and made sure they felt loved while we were on vacation! We’ll definitely be using her again! ❤️”

“Peyton was so good with our cats. She was always on time, flexible and quick to respond on semi-short notice for pet sitting on the holiday weekend! She offered to come over ahead of the scheduled times so that she could meet me and the cats, which was super nice and it made me feel more comfortable!! She sent lots of photos and even scooped the litter box, fed our fish and brought out packages in while we were out. I highly recommend Peyton!!”

“Miranda was considerate and went above and beyond to take care of our two car. She is thoughtful and considerate, even watering the plants for us! Would definitely rehire and book with her again!”

“I’m so thankful to have found Amber on Rover. Her drop-in visits to care for my two calicos when I travel are exactly what I need. She’s kind, thorough and thoughtful—she even brought in our mail! Her reports and photos are informative and give me peace of mind that my cats are cared for. I’m a repeat customer, and I’ll continue to book services with Amber as long as she’s available.”

I prioritize communication with pet parents by providing regular updates, photos, and messages so you can have peace of mind while you're away. My goal is to create a stress-free experience for both you and your pet and make sure they receive the same love and attention they're used to at home. I am currently working part-time but looking for a way to help out some people in the area with their furry friends! Available almost everyday. I prioritize each pet’s safety, comfort, and routine. In clients’ homes, I follow all care instructions closely, maintain a clean environment, and provide plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. “Liza was very reliable with caring for our cat and respectful of our home. My cat is something of a grump yet she took to Liza. I loved the pictures and frequent updates regarding her schedule and how my cat is doing!! We will be having Liza care for our cat again for our next vacation.”

“This was my first time using Rover, and Bri completely assuaged any of my anxieties about it! She took great care of our kitties and left fantastic updates. Bri was very diligent and easy to communicate with. I would not hesitate to use her again!”

About: Firstly, I will listen to your pet's needs that you have, and follow them accordingly. Secondly, I will play with your babies and pay attention to them, with love and affection. I will walk with them around the Lake's, and engage them, by talking to them, so that they know they are loved by me. Thirdly, I do like to play catch and engage them in different games, so their time away from you will fly by for them. Lastly, I am not trained in the Heimlich for dogs, nor CPR, but I have had to do the Heimlich on my own dog, whom was choking on food, to save her life. I look forward to playing with your babies. Thank you so very much.
About: I have had dogs and cats most of my married life. I am experienced with taking care of both, and since I am semi-retired, I am looking to offer my help with your furry friends. However, I am set up with Rover to only pet sit with cats. :) Since being semi-retired, I have extra time on my hands to pet sit. I enjoy "our dog and kitty"...they bring lots of joy and fun to me. I will play with my client's kitty or kitties because I enjoy the interaction. I will pet him/her a lot, feed him/her when needed. I will also take them for a walk (if my client prefers that, as well).
“Madison was amazing! We went out of town for a weekend getaway and were so anxious about leaving our cats behind. However, Madison eased all these worries away. Her communication was excellent and I could tell my cats were in caring hands. She was able to get my reserved cat to come out of his shell and even administered medication. I would recommend Madison and will definitely be rebooking with her in the future!”

About: I’m patient with all animals and love their energy they bring to my life. I’ve cared for animals since I was 2 years old and I’ve been connected with them ever since. I currently work a full time job that does allow me to have free time after work or weekends to care for cats and/or dogs in my free time. Although I don’t have a fenced area at my apartment complex I do have plenty of space to walk and we can always go to a park enjoying the scenery.
About: I have owned dogs since was 9/10 years-old, and enjoy playing with dogs and love keeping them occupied espically puppies. For puppies, I like to help potty-train them by offering treats to understand that "outside is where we use the bathroom not inside". I also pay really close attention to due to possible getting into things. I watch out for things that could possibly hurt your dog. As a dog owener myself I will treat your dog as if it was my own dog at home, giving all the attention and play time there hearts desire. I’m currently not working so I am available during select times. I also know what it is like to need a caregiver for your pets while you are away on a business trip or just a quick get away from reality. I live in an apartment complex where everyone keeps to themselves but as for any home I would treat it as if it were my home and how I would want to make sure things are in the right place

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Winston
I recently had Sia cat sit for my cat, Mylo, and she was fantastic. Sia came to my home each evening, feeding him, letting him enjoy some time on the back porch, and giving him company. From the start, communication was easy and reassuring. She sent quick updates and was punctual every day, which gave me great peace of mind. When I returned, Mylo was relaxed and happy clear signs he’d been well cared for. It’s not easy to find someone who treats your pet like their own, but Sia absolutely did. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable, kind, and caring cat sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
