The bigger the dog, the louder the dog, the more terrified she is, which makes boarding her difficult. Izzy had a great time playing with Marcy’s 5 lb. Betty Boo, so it was a great social experience for my dog. Marcy also is terrific - I knew my dog was getting the best of care in my absence, and all for a reasonable price. About: I have fostered for the SPCA since I was 12 and have owned pets my entire life. I have a passionate love for animals and recently discovered a new passion for pet sitting! I saw a great need for foster parents who could bottle feed abandoned puppies and kittens, could care for older pets needing extra time and expertise, and pets with a wide variety of special needs. After adopting several special needs pets who would otherwise have difficulty finding a forever home (the last two passed away last year), I found myself wanting to adopt every animal I fostered. knowing that wasn’t realistic, I realized pet sitting might be better outlet for me to direct my love for animals (Without the pain of not knowing if the pet I fostered would eventually find a loving home). And I have loved hosting happy pets ever since! My children are now in college, and after losing my precious older dog and cat a couple years ago, I now only have one cat we rescued during a storm. My ultimate goal is for both you and your pet to be comfortable and have peace of mind before and during the time you are away, and I strive to love and entertain them so much that they feel at home (or on vacation) until you come back for them. I work from home, allowing me to be available for your pet at almost all times - which is especially helpful with puppies/kittens, older, or disabled pets that need to be closely watched. (I have many years experience with disabled, sick or elderly pets). I am experienced with giving both oral and injected meds, expressions, helping them eat, exercise, etc. Because I only pet sit one animal family at a time, I am able to adjust to your pet(s) schedule. Whatever makes him/her most comfortable! I take the trust and safety of pets very seriously, only keeping one pet (or family of pets) at a time. I also document a daily diary of their experiences, and send pictures on a daily basis (unless requested otherwise). You can review the daily diary document (as well as information I prefer to obtain before pet sitting), in my photos section. This document includes the preferred vet and emergency center I utilize, although I am happy to contact your preferred vet if provided to me. I also have multiple friends who are veterinarians, and I never hesitate to contact them if I am at all concerned about any pet in my care. I prefer dogs be crate trained if they are young and active, but while I have a large double-sized crate, it is only used if we are all gone for a short time (for the dog’s safety and comfort). The rest of the time pets are welcome on the bed to sleep with us, on furniture, etc. If there is a reason the dog can’t be crated, please discuss it with me and we can come up with safest and best plan for your pet! I also have a room set up for pets in case they want to be alone or have quiet time. It is also helpful if you bring a blanket from home, so s/he is comforted by the familiar smells of you and their loving home!

I will walk with them around the Lake's, and engage them, by talking to them, so that they know they are loved by me. Thirdly, I do like to play catch and engage them in different games, so their time away from you will fly by for them. Lastly, I am not trained in the Heimlich for dogs, nor CPR, but I have had to do the Heimlich on my own dog, whom was choking on food, to save her life. I look forward to playing with your babies. About: I have had a big passion for animals since childhood. I grew up with many animals and always dreamed of working with animals. I graduated from university with an associate in veterinary technician. I been working for several years in veterinary medicine and doggy daycare i really have fun and enjoy all my time with them. You can expect regular updates about your pet which include photos and communication so you always know how your pet is doing. I am available on weekends and have a flexible schedule. I would love to meet and greet your pet- feel free to reach out anytime if you would like to set that up! I am currently working part time- so I am available most of the time including weekends! The only day I have obligations is Sunday until 1pm- but if needed that can change. I am able to crate dogs if needed, I am able to take care of dogs in any home type- I can accommodate any requirements.
About: I grew up in a house hold where we always had some sort of four legged critters. From breeding to part of the family. I prefer four legged companion than 2. It's therapeutic to just chill with someone who just wants to be loved and played with. I've relocated to be closer to my mom. So I'm looking for work to pay my bills. I love animals, so why wouldn't this be an awesome way to make money and play with four legged critters. All care be done in the client's home. So pets are familiar with own surroundings and have a better experience with a random stranger, when it comes to caring for others four legged family member.
About: I grew up with dogs, and I used to have two cats. I have over 3 years of experience using Rover and multiple 5-star reviews. I have taken care of pets who need medication or have special needs. I am open to dog walking and pet sitting. I do not have any pets of my own to take care of daily. I drop in on one dog three days a week and walk another dog twice a week. I will follow all guidelines provided by the client. Respecting all rules in their home and ensuring that their pets will be in good hands.
