“Jennifer is the best!!!! My cats were treated so well that I didn't see any difference in their behavior after our extended departure. They were relaxed when we arrived and I could see right away that they really liked the care Jennifer gave them. Jennifer was very helpful and available. She helped us out when our trip out of the country was extended by 2 weeks. I had peace of mind knowing my cats were in good hands. Everything was clean when I arrived and my cats had missed us, but I could see that they were relaxed and well fed. seraphin, my most shy cat, was super comfortable with her, and that's a great proof of the quality of the bond Jennifer knows how to build with animals. Thank you :-)”
“Thanks so much for watching the boys this week! And of course for always going above and beyond, like taking the trash down and turning off the water when the toilet didn’t stop running. Always the best. We appreciate you!”

“DeDe was great with our 3 cats! One of our cats has special needs and has a prescription food with a special feeding regimen and she was very attentive to their needs. We booked her again to watch them for our next weekend getaway. ?”
“She took great care of my baby even though she was a little nervous. She was able to gain Sophie's trust and I like the constant communication and commitment. Thanks for your understanding and care of my baby girl.”

“Matt and Nicole did a wonderful job taking care of my cats. It was so great getting pictures everyday and they took so many great ones! It’s nice not having to worry that your pets are fed and taken care of. I’d definitely ask for them again!”

“Ruth did an amazing job caring for my dogs. They can be difficult with one being just a puppy and the other being older and very nervous but she did an excellent job making sure they were taken care of.”
About: I've owned and cared for all types of dogs. I've walked and cared for large and small. I've experenced easy, well trained to the most challenging. I love them all. I'm retired, so I can easily work in walks, drop-ins, and sittings during my days. Most days I'm available after 10 A.M., but I'm flexible. I only do care at the pet parent's house, and I follow the guidelines the pet-parent sets because routines are important for consistency. I will always respect your home.
“Bethany was amazing! It took a little while for one of my cats to warm up to her but now they are good friends. It’s nice to know Bethany is not a stranger anymore and my kitties are very happy. My other diabetic cat did great with his injections and we’d trust her anytime to do it again. She sent daily pics of the food, water, litter and of course the cats. They are in good hands with Bethany! Highly recommend!”

“Karla was excellent! She was prompt, and took excellent care of our pups. Communication was excellent and she sent us pictures as well which we really appreciated! We will definitely be booking her again :)”

About: I have taken care of all of my families pets for most of my life. I also used to help my godmother with her pet sitting/walking business and through this learned the ins and outs of pet sitting and what different owners require! I currently work a part time job where I am given the schedule for the next week the week before, but I have 14 days to schedule off of work. So, my schedule is open as long as I am given well enough notice to be able to call off of work! My experience with my personal animals is that I feed, wash, and provide my pets with the care they need. My personal animals are in a fenced yard, but I frequently walk them around my neighborhood. With my cats I provide similar care, taking care of their litter and grooming and food needs.
About: I’ve been caring for pets as long as I can remember. I generally just do it as a favor for friends and relatives. I currently own two dogs. I’m good with any age of a dog or cat. I work everyday during the week. However, I do have time on my lunch break to let animals out depending on the distance. I’m free after 4:30 on business days and 3 on weekends. I don’t have a problem staying the night at someone’s house if it’s needed. I cannot currently dog sit at my house due to one of my dogs being aggressive. He’s very slow to warm up and I don’t want to chance it.
“Great experience. Felt comfortable and felt great that my babies were being taken care of at home and I got to view pictures of them. It was so nice coming home to them they were so happy and it was overall a great experience.thank you Briana for taking care of my littles”

“Jami treated our cats so good that I don't even think they missed us. She sent us photos everyday and treated them so good. We would highly recommend her and would love to use her again in the future.”

About: I’ve been taking care of animals for over 10 years now. Mostly, they’ve been personal/family pets that I’ve given love and care too. In my time, I’ve cared for two cats and two dogs, as well a neighbor asking me to check in on her cats. I am currently a middle school teacher, so I can board after 4PM on weekdays and am fully available on weekends for services including boarding. During summer and winter break, I am fully available all days of the week. I have a fenced in yard that provides a safe place for dogs to run, play, and use the bathroom. Cats are provided a regularly cleaned space to use the bathroom and a ton of toys that were gifted by a coworker. Both cats and dogs have clearly designated feeding areas so they don’t have to worry about other animals taking from their plates.
About: Experienced in day-to-day care, emergency situations, disabled animals (hearing/seeing impaired, as well as limited ambulatory abilities), and also post-operative care. I am available for drop-in potty break visits, walks, overnight stays, giving medication, and transportation. In addition to caring for the various animals I've had I'm my family over the years I've also been a volunteer at the SPCA since 2020, entrusted with the care of many dogs and cats during that time. I work full time from 7:30am to 4pm, Monday through Friday, however my schedule can be adjusted to accommodate early morning drop-in visits as well as overnight stays and transportation if needed. I see to my pets overall wellness, going beyond food, water, and bathroom breaks. In my mind their lives are relatively short compared to a humans, and it's important to me that animals I call family members are not only physically healthy but happy and stress free. I extend this same level of care to the furry, four-legged family members of those who entrust me with their care. I welcome the chance to visit your home and meet your pets to make sure it is a good fit before committing to my services.
About: I’ve pet sat for a teacher, best friend and my aunt. I’ve worked with reactive dogs and dogs of different sizes and backgrounds, even mine. With every animal that I work with and take care of, I treat them like my own. I’ve worked with all kinds of animals thanks to working at pet supermarket. I’m currently not working but I am looking for a job. I’m available everyday, early mornings and evenings Monday - Saturday and all day on Sundays. While in a clients home, I will play your dog(s) for as long as they want with breaks in between. I will keep the house clean from any messes that may be made. While in my care, your pet will be treated with respect and I will love them as my own.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Medulla
Kim was INCREDIBLE! I have a ragdoll kitty who is very needy! I work from home and had NEVER left him alone overnight. Our first trip away was EIGHT nights!! I was so stressed to leave him and had no idea what to expect! I had Kim come over in the morning and the evening - when he follows us around like a puppy dog! She loved on him, played with him, gave him treats and even brushed him daily!!! He got all the love he needed and after a couple visits by Kim I felt 100% at ease and no stress at all! I will be hiring her every single time from this point on! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Jennifer took absolutely wonderful care for my two cats while I was away. They were well-fed, comfortable, and clearly given lots of attention and love. It gave me such peace of mind knowing they were in great hands. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter. 🐾

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
