It was Koa’s first time ever with a sitter, and we were nervous because it was 9 days, but Angie was welcoming during the meet and greet, and explained about how she would care for him. She also provided additional information about the other dogs she cared for during the time we would leave Koa with her. She sent pics almost every day to provide updates on how he was doing. About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was little as 11 years old. I had two dogs growing up and two cats growing up. I also had a ball python in high school and love reptiles! I currently work from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday with an hour for lunch at 11:30 pm. I have the ability to switch my lunch hour and work from home three days a week! This is perfect if you are looking for a house sitter as I can hang out with your animals throughout the day while working from my laptop! And I have loved hosting happy pets ever since! My children are now in college, and after losing my precious older dog and cat a couple years ago, I now only have one cat we rescued during a storm. My ultimate goal is for both you and your pet to be comfortable and have peace of mind before and during the time you are away, and I strive to love and entertain them so much that they feel at home (or on vacation) until you come back for them. I work from home, allowing me to be available for your pet at almost all times - which is especially helpful with puppies/kittens, older, or disabled pets that need to be closely watched. (I have many years experience with disabled, sick or elderly pets). I am experienced with giving both oral and injected meds, expressions, helping them eat, exercise, etc. Because I only pet sit one animal family at a time, I am able to adjust to your pet(s) schedule. Whatever makes him/her most comfortable! I take the trust and safety of pets very seriously, only keeping one pet (or family of pets) at a time. I also document a daily diary of their experiences, and send pictures on a daily basis (unless requested otherwise). You can review the daily diary document (as well as information I prefer to obtain before pet sitting), in my photos section. This document includes the preferred vet and emergency center I utilize, although I am happy to contact your preferred vet if provided to me. I also have multiple friends who are veterinarians, and I never hesitate to contact them if I am at all concerned about any pet in my care. I prefer dogs be crate trained if they are young and active, but while I have a large double-sized crate, it is only used if we are all gone for a short time (for the dog’s safety and comfort). The rest of the time pets are welcome on the bed to sleep with us, on furniture, etc. If there is a reason the dog can’t be crated, please discuss it with me and we can come up with safest and best plan for your pet! I also have a room set up for pets in case they want to be alone or have quiet time. It is also helpful if you bring a blanket from home, so s/he is comforted by the familiar smells of you and their loving home!

About: I have always had an admiration for animals no matter the type. But for some reason the love that you get in return from a dog is just indescribable. I know that it is always a weary feeling to leave your babies in the care of someone else. But it definitely helps to know that the person caring for your pet shares the same passion that you do. I never thought that I would own small dogs but I am actually glad that I do have two Chihuahuas now because I can take them almost anywhere! There has been an occasional weekend trip where I haven't been able to bring the pups along and it just didn't feel the same having to leave them behind. So if you have to leave them, leave them with someone who will care for them just as well as their own! I definitely prioritize my pets before any plans are made! No matter the time of day, week or year. They are my fur babies and anyone that knows me will agree! Depending on the environment or location, I would definitely say to use a leash first and foremost. I would also like to know if you know about the other animals in the area, just to provide as much safety as possible.

I'm retired, so I can easily work in walks, drop-ins, and sittings during my days. Most days I'm available after 10 A.M., but I'm flexible. About: Hi there! I’m a lifelong animal lover who grew up with a dog and two cats and honestly, I can’t remember a time when there wasn’t a furry friend by my side. I’ve always been surrounded by animals, from family pets to farm animals, and over the years I’ve become the go-to pet sitter for friends and neighbors. Now that I’m a college student, I really miss having animals around, so I’m excited to share my love and care with your pets! Whether it’s going for walks, playtime, or just keeping them company, I’ll treat your pets like my own. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family members, and I’ll always make sure they’re safe, happy, and loved! I am currently in a social work graduate program, so I am in an internship during the weekdays 9am-4pm. I live in a pet-friendly apartment with two friendly cats (who can easily be separated if needed), a screened-in patio perfect for lounging, and access to a dog park and safe walking trail nearby. I’m comfortable following any specific care routines or instructions you provide, and I’m also very intuitive when it comes to understanding an animal’s needs and emotions. About: I’ve been taking care of pets for over five years now. It was Koa’s first time ever with a sitter, and we were nervous because it was 9 days, but Angie was welcoming during the meet and greet, and explained about how she would care for him. She also provided additional information about the other dogs she cared for during the time we would leave Koa with her. She sent pics almost every day to provide updates on how he was doing. We are so grateful for the amazing care that Koa received from Angie. He was a happy pup, which made us happy, too!”

About: All creatures in my home with be treated with respect, warmth, and feel safe. I am in tune to a pets needs especially when left in a different place. I will work to ensure all animals left in my care will feel safe, warm and loved. I am able to give prescribed medications as needed as I am a retired RN. I get up early and need to feel busy. Retirement is enjoyable but I am used to feeling needed. So, taking care of Dogs and Cats will full-fill this for me. Our home has a caged pool area with dog door. The large yard is fully fenced with area to run. My husband and I love to be outside and we have a safe neighborhood to go for walks. During fall, winter and Spring we walk with our dog frequently. Summer is too hot.
