About: My name is Kalin and I just moved to Boise from Marquette, MI this month. I've lived with dogs my whole life up until this move. Not currently having a dog has been strange and I would love to be around them more! Before I moved, I spent years as a volunteer at a local shelter where I would hike the shelter dogs (with varying degrees of leash manners) to get them out and about. I also socialized puppies and fostered dogs that were long-time shelter residents, dogs that were unable to be adopted out at the time and dogs that had physical/behavioral challenges. I’ve owned both senior dogs and puppies and I love ALL dog breeds. (: I’m taking a bit of time off from work to get settled in as I just moved to Boise - so I have plenty of free time. I plan on returning to school in the Spring of next year for nursing and will continue to walk dogs then, but will have more of a schedule to adhere to. I love being active and would love to have a dog pal to bring with me on walks. I'll happily provide your fur baby with love and attention while you're away so that you can have some peace of mind. I know leaving pets behind can be stressful and you can rest assured they'll be safe and cared for with me. I'll follow any specific instructions left for me and I'm sure to always have dogs in an enclosed area or on a leash. I've owned some pretty high-maintenance and high energy dogs in the past that I've been nervous to leave with dog-sitters. I understand wanting them to be taken care of and comfortable and I would absolutely provide that for them and you. I'm also very self-sufficient, detail oriented and clean.
