“Yujie is an incredibly responsible dog sitter. He made sure to take time to meet Monty beforehand, which helped us confirm they were a great fit and left us with a good feeling. During the visit, he took wonderful care of Monty and sent us pictures throughout the day! Monty clearly loved being with him and is eager to visit again soon.”

“Timmy had a great time with Valerie. She took excellent care of him and while he was there, she sent pictures of all the fun he was having at her home. He’s happily exhausted now and really enjoyed his stay. Thank you for taking such good care of my pup. ♥️”

About: I have been a dog owner for 8 years and have experience with post surgery, administering medicines, and senior dogs for 2 years. I’ve watched my several of my friend’s dogs and they all get along great with Tendie! I love to play with energetic dogs and relax and snuggle with lazy dogs. I have a good sized fenced in yard for dogs of all sizes to explore and sniff to their hearts desires! I work from home so I can accommodate any special bathroom or other timing needs. Tendie is a senior dog who does very well with other dogs and mostly keeps to himself after he’s met another dog. I work from home so I can accommodate any special timing needs your dog may have. I can let a dog out in my yard anytime of day for bathroom breaks and typically go on walks around 4-5pm, but can adjust if needed. I have a fully fenced in yard and live on a quiet street away from loud traffic and busy intersections. I also have several rooms to separate any dogs if some alone time is needed.
About: Hello! My name is JJ and I'm a trail runner that decided to combine the two things I love the most: exercise and animals. I have been providing pet care for dogs, cats and other household pets full-time for over 8 years in Austin now. I am currently providing pet care full-time during the week and often have weekend availability. As a pet parent and a user of Rover pet sitters myself, I know how important good communication and reliability is when you are away from your pet family. I prioritize responding promptly to all booking requests and communication throughout the duration of booked appointments. This includes happily answering questions, sending updates and pet pictures of each visit. For me, communication, transparency and trust are key to having a worry-free workday or trip away! PET CARE: *NEW* Now offering boarding and doggie daycare. My partner and I purchased a house in North Shoal Creek and can now host up to 4 dogs. My partner, Josh Cross, is a software developer and works from home, so visiting pets will always have a human companion while I am away on walks and check-ins. I offer check-ins for dogs, cats and other household pets, to give them food, water, bathroom breaks, clean litter boxes, etc. If there is ever a package or mail by the door, I always bring it inside, as well. WALKS: If your dog(s) just need a potty break and some exercise, I’m more than happy to go for 30-60 minute walks. I typically use my own waist leash, but I can use your leash, if preferred, and I have a tandem leash attachment to take two dogs for an outing together, if needed. RUNS: For dogs that like to run, I can jog at your dogs pace for 30-60 minutes. Slow or fast, with water breaks, walk breaks, and potty breaks. On hot days, I prioritize finding the shadiest routes in the area and run in the grass when possible. For running dogs, I prefer them to wear a body harness or gentle leader, if available. *I offer a limited number of dog runs per day depending on daily volume.* My love for animals comes from growing up with a family that spoiled inside pets of many species and sizes. I cherished my own chihuahua, Zeus, of 14 years. Nowadays, I share a big, sweet super-mutt named Ozzie with my partner, Josh. I currently have weekday availability during traditional work hours, but I also have some evenings and weekends available. I don’t prefer to book recurring weekly appointments on the weekends. I regularly keep my Rover calendar updated and list the dates I’m out of town in my profile, in case I don’t have reception on vacation, usually a camping trip. I prefer to use a waist leash, which is safer and more secure than holding a leash in my hand. Please supply waste bags and any treats you would like me to give to your pet.
About: Hi there! I’m a mom of energetic triplets and a lifelong dog lover. For the past 5+ years, I’ve been caring for friends’ dogs in my home, often with a full (and happy!) pack of up to five pups at a time. I work from home, which means your dog gets lots of attention, cuddles, and supervision throughout the day. My kids are with me 50% of the time, and they absolutely adore dogs — lots of love, belly rubs, and a little spoiling guaranteed! We have a big, fully fenced backyard for plenty of playtime. If your pup enjoys adventures, I try to make it out to the Domain dog park a few times a week. We currently have two dogs of our own: 🐾 A mellow 16-year-old who likes to keep to himself 🐾 A playful 2 year old who’s crate trained and full of energy — but I always set boundaries to keep things peaceful and positive. This is a loving, safe, and dog-friendly home. Whether your pup loves to play or just needs a cozy place to nap, they’ll feel right at home here. Let me know if you have any questions — I’d love to meet you and your furry friend! I work full-time from home and take my dog to the park practically every day and I have a pretty light workload, which allows me to give lots of attention to all my furry friends . I spoil them with attention and very good with paying attention to each dogs needs and personalities . My visitors get plenty of rest, routine and I cater to any diet, exercise, and training needs that owners have.
About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and have cared for over five dogs of different sizes, breeds, and ages with my family. From playful puppies to sweet senior dogs, I understand how to adapt to each dog’s unique needs and personality. I love spending time playing, walking, and giving dogs the attention they deserve. Whether it’s belly rubs, outdoor play, or quiet company, I’ll make sure your pup feels safe, loved, and happy! Besides dogs, I love all animals! I have had bunnies and birds before and know how to take care of them! I work remotely full-time, which which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, supervision, and care throughout their stay. My daily routine is flexible, so I’m able to accommodate feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, cuddle time, medication routines, and regular check-ins. I like to keep each pet’s routine as close as possible to what they are used to at home. Whether they need active play, quiet company, extra patience, or a calm space to relax, I do my best to adjust my day around their comfort and needs! I live in a spacious apartment that offers plenty of room for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and well supervised! I got my two friendly American Shorthair cats at home, so I’m very mindful about introductions, boundaries, and each pet’s comfort level. I always take time to understand how each pet does around other animals! If a pet needs their own space, quiet time, or a slower introduction, I make sure they have a calm area where they can relax. I keep the environment clean, organized, and peaceful so every pet feels cared for during their stay!
“Janie did a wonderful job taking care of my puppy, I can see that he got plenty of play time and was exhausted when we returned home and feel asleep instantly. Thank you very much!”

About: I've had dogs for 12+ years and been the Go-To dog sitter for friends and family for all their pups! Young pups, senior pups, high-energy pups, or super chill pups, I love them all! I currently have a WFH job. I do go out in the field for a few hours a day, but that varies. Annie (my pup) go on two walks a day. I'm usually home til 10 am, and if I go into the field, I try to be back by 2-3 pm. I have a comfy couch that's open to pups for naps and cuddles. I have a nice, fenced-in backyard, a walkable neighborhood. Plenty of space for crate training if needed. I will love on your dog as if they are my own. I will most likely give them a cute nickname, and I might be a little generous with the treats, oops.
“Jen was great with my pup. Xena is a sweet and nervous around other dog; Jen was more than accommodating and took her time introducing her to the other dogs. On her second day she was fully part of the pack and I had a great time at puppy land. I would definitely recommend her services 10/10”

About: *update about rates and cancellations at bottom ABOUT ME Backstory: I lost my dog in 2022 😔 (but found after 2 full years), so I began volunteering at AAS/APA!, fostering, and working for Rover as a way to both emotionally cope but also help my community with their pets. Experience: 2022 I began to foster shelter dogs and have found homes for 12 doggos already! I've fostered puppies and older dogs. Many of the dogs I have cared for have behavioral problems or need special or sensitive care. I am patient and gentle for every animal I care for. I have cared for big puppies like Pit bulls, Rottweilers, and German shepherds. I’m familiar and understanding of jumpers, barkers, biters and scratchers. I’ve even been badly bitten by one of my foster dogs but that didn’t make me love him any less. Safety: Animals are like kids to me and I always treat them with love and respect. I’ll never leave the house without AirTagging your pets. I’m always prepared with a doggy backpack filled with first aid materials and doggy pepper spray to protect your pups. Love for animals: I have learned people raise and treat their pets differently but they are all loved immensely. For any pet I care for, I always say the words "I love you!!". Those words of affirmation, despite the animal not knowing what they mean, give off positive, loving, and warm energy which makes animals feel comforted and safe. Always vocalize to your pets you love them! I see all pets as members of the family. I treat my own pet as if she is my child and feel that pets should be given the same love, attention, and support as any other member of the family. I always let my pups sleep in bed with me. You can be assured that your pet will be safe, happy, and treated lovingly! Just know I love taking photos and videos of pets. You are guaranteed tons of updates and cute pictures/customized videos! My Dog: I currently have a female german shepherd, she is good with dogs and spends a lot of time with dozens of different dogs-big and small. If your pets are comfortable with other dogs, I’d happily connect my pup and your pup/s together!! *NOTE: I will always make your pets my #1 priority but I work multiple jobs and run a normal amount of errands. For house sitting I cannot stay at home 24/7, though I do my best to stay with your pets as much as possible. I don’t have a daily routine and will be in and out randomly everyday. Pets will not be left alone longer than avg 6 hours. If pets need to be crated when away I try not to leave them for longer than 4 hours. If permitted, I typically take my dogs with me when visiting friends or family around town or even quick errands for doggy car rides. I promise your pets will be safe, loved and cared for. You will get tons of HQ photos of your pets!! Policy Regarding Constant Care: If you need to book a house sitting in which your pets need constant care longer than 8 hours continuously,I may ask to work by an hourly rate ( $10 a hour). Constant care meaning, continuous care with no breaks. RATES & CANCELLATION Update: I’ve been slowly adjusting my rates. I discovered rover takes around 30-40%. The client has an added 11% fee, while rover takes 20% from sitter earnings ( 2026 they are introducing a new 30% fee). I don’t like focusing on the money aspect bc I initially started pet care not for the money but for the pets!! 🐶🐱 That being said, I am open to customizing rates and negotiating prices that work best for you. This can done by me modifying the rover booking with customized rates OR working directly with me w/o the added fees!! ALSO: I had to change my cancellation policy to 3 days bc there were too many last minute cancellations with no reason or communication. So do not worry bc I am very flexible with refunds and cancellations. Please know, that I will likely give a full refund to you even if you are not within the cancellation policy timeline as long as you communicate with me! My schedule is very flexible. I can book you same day or night before. It all depends. I try my best to work with your schedule, rather than mine because I am very flexible. It may be hard for me to accept bookings more than 6 weeks in advance You can trust that your pets will be happy and safe and well taken care of! I would never place your furry family members in an environment that is unsafe or uncomfortable. Your pets will be my pets for the stay! I really love animals and just feel they are the most amazing gifts we are given on this earth. I will follow the schedule and routine given!
About: I’ve grown up with dogs since I was a baby. My house had atleast 2 dogs and I’ve grown up to learn that they are my family. I’ve taken care of my dogs from puppies days, given them all the care when they have been sick and loved and cared for them like they are my kids. I can’t put it into words how much I love and genuinely adore dogs, they are my life. My own dog had puppies and she gave birth at home so I’ve had experience dealing with pregnant dogs and giving the mama and the puppies all the care and attention they need. I’ve dealt with dogs with cancer and sickly and taken them back and forth to vets to get the care they need. In conclusion I’m experienced for over 20+ years and I would do anything to take care of a dog like they are my own I work in a hybrid work model. On some days I have to head to office but most days I’m home. So I’m able to handle your dog and take care of your baby I live in a very dog friendly apartment with dog parks within the apartment to give your dog the love and space your dog needs
“Angela and her roommate Kelly did a great job of watching our dog Nellie. They both clearly love animals and go the extra mile to make sure you and your pet are comfortable. This was our dog's first pet sit and she did not understand at first that the "no potty inside" rules applied in other's homes as well but Angela was so patient and understanding.”

“Aimee was amazing! She took such good care of our pup. Always made sure she felt comfortable with her and other dogs staying with her. She also gives very detail updates, which I loved! Would recommend 100%!”

About: I have about 10+ years of experience in care. I’ve been dog sitting since I was about 15. I have a lot of love to give, and I personally crate & potty trained my dogs. I’m currently a full-time student, so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I spend most of my time studying from home, which allows me to give your pets plenty of attention, care, and companionship. I can’t wait to meet your babies! 💕 I live in a pet-friendly apartment with plenty of walking areas nearby. I take dogs outside regularly for potty breaks, walks, and playtime, always ensuring their safety and comfort during every outing.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Windsor Hills
We're so happy with how everything went! Our dogs clearly had a blast too. He sent us videos and updates throughout the day, actively played with both dogs, and gave them so much attention, you could really feel that he cares about animals, not just watching the clock. When we picked them up, they were tired and happy, and passed out almost right away — the best sign that they had an amazing day. Will definitely book with him again and highly recommend!
My senior pup Lexie stayed with Valerie and Juniper for daycare in advance of a longer boarding stay. Valerie was very attentive to Lexie’s nervousness and tried to make her as comfy as possible. I appreciate Valerie sending updates and photos throughout the day. Lexie will be back!
