I am home full-time and work on various passion projects that do not require any specific schedule. As I have pets of my own, I know that routines are important. I am able to accommodate multiple check-ins or if your pet(s) stay with me, I will have plenty of time to dedicate to them.

Safety, trust & environment

I have a fenced backyard that offers plenty of room for dogs to run around and explore. My house is two-stories. On both floors there is a partition that can close off either floor to pets. On just the first floor, I also have a foyer area that can be blocked off that can help create a more calming, quiet area for pet stays. My four dogs are crate-trained and also know the boundaries for downstairs and upstairs. Senior dogs or dogs with hip issues can also stay worry-free downstairs. For dogs that love social interaction, my own dogs are very friendly and are large/small (so there’s a dog furend for all)!

Information Linda L. would like to know about your pet

‼️ All pets staying at my home for boarding or daycare MUST be up-to-date on vaccinations to ensure safety and wellbeing for humans and pets. ‼️ ➡️ If it’s your first time using Rover, I know it can be nerve racking to leave your beloved pet in someone else’s care. Let me know so I can determine if I can block out remaining slots so that your pet is the only pet staying with me. ➡️ Also let me know if your pet has special potty break or medication needs. I want to make sure they don’t have unnecessary accidents and get the care they need. Their health and safety is a priority!

A typical day

Every morning starts around 8-9am with a potty break. Dogs are given time in the backyard to enjoy the morning air and sunshine while I supervise and review the yard for stray poop droppings that were missed. After about 20-30mins, all dogs are let back in to enjoy their morning meal, followed by an after-meal treat. Then dogs are encouraged to settle for a nap or cuddle time in the living room. I don’t usually let dogs play after any meal time so that it allows them to digest properly. My dogs usually opt for a nap after a meal. Then at mid-day, dogs will get a potty break and I do a water check to make sure the water bowls are full. At this time (weather permitting) I will play with the dogs out in the yard or take them on walks in turns. Sometimes, I split the group and do some dogs in the day vs evening. If it isn’t a good time for me, then I will let pups at least play amongst each other or with toys in the yard or downstairs inside the house. There is usually another potty break around 5pm. At this time, I will take pups on a walk, continue play, go to a nearby dog park, or work on positive reinforcement training. After that, all dogs are fed their evening meal and give time to settle again before getting their last potty break for the day and then crated overnight. **At night or when no one is at home, I crate all pets-even my own. During the day, they can nap and hang freely not in the crate. **If there are other social activities desired for your pet, I am open to discussion. Even if your pet would rather me not take them to the park or on walks, I am okay with that. My own small pups usually don’t care for walks and would rather cuddle. I’m very flexible and can accommodate whatever your pet needs to make sure they are having a good and safe time!

Nothing compares to the relief of coming home to healthy and safe pets and a well maintained home and Linda delivered both. She will continue to be our first call for any travel plans we have.

Linda was absolutely amazing! She took care of our two pups with so much love, patience, and attention that I almost felt a little jealous when she sent us photos they looked like they were having the time of their lives! She kept us updated with great communication throughout their stay, followed their routine perfectly, and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. It was clear our dogs felt safe, happy, and genuinely cared for. As a sweet surprise, she even gifted each of them a brand-new toy for the Fourth of July, which was such a thoughtful touch. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter, and we’ll definitely be using Linda’s services again. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will treat their pets like family!

Linda did great with my dog Banjo! She gave very clear updates and pictures. Banjo has some anxiety staying in new places, but she was very patient and made sure he was comfortable!

Linda took wonderful care of Murphy! She also watched other pups and Murphy had the best time making friends. Her updates are incredibly thorough and detailed! She also takes the best photos. I cannot recommend her more. I felt so comfortable knowing that my dog was in her care.
