Trust me I get it! and I know you feel the same because you are here and you want someone who can care for your animals as if it is their own, and I am your gal. In Colorado, my husband and I were small-town pet sitters. We enjoyed caring for the neighborhood's pets of all kinds and helping their owners feel secure knowing that their pets would be well taken care of. I have experience fostering animals and raising my Siberian puppy, and I have gained so much insight into animal behavior. Siberian Huskies are known for being stubborn, but we have built such a loving connection with our Husky that you wouldn’t believe how sweet and much he responds to us. I take care of my fur baby by understanding what his needs are based on his breed, personality, and what he tells me through his behaviors. This is so important because our companions has needs too! As a pet sitter, I want to give your pet lots of love, we could go out to nature trails and help them manage their separation anxiety by building trust and comfort and following their daily routines. Love the fact that she works out of her home, which is extremely clean, has a fenced big yard and when you walk into her home it has a warm welcoming feel. She only takes in one client at a time and this is what I wanted so my baby wouldn't be overwhelmed by too many other pets around. Oh, and a big plus is there are no children in her home. About: I am a professional interdisciplinary artist who has worked and volunteered in the animal welfare field for over 30 years. I’ve worked as a vet-tech and kennel tech in shelters, as well as smaller clinics and rescues in Massachusetts and Texas. I grew up in a household with multiple cats and dogs. I am an advocate for bully breeds, and have owned pit bulls and pit mixes through much of my adult life. I treat all cats, dogs, exotics and other animals with utmost care, love, compassion, and patience, regardless of size, breed, and behavior. I am willing to do pick-up and drop-offs should you decide to board at my place and don’t want to drive all the way to Wimberley (for cats, small and medium sized dogs only). I have a clean driving record and am fully insured. I appreciate you giving me an opportunity to care for your furry kiddos, and look forward to it. Because I work from home I have a lot of flexibility for pet care. During boardings I stay home so you needn’t worry about your pets being left unattended. I live in a spacious, 2-bedroom home , on 10 fenced acres in Wimberley. I am self-employed and work from home when I’m not doing Rover appointments. If you choose to board your pet at my place I WILL stay home, so your dogs or cats will never be left unattended. I’m very tidy and do not leave anything laying around that could be a potential hazard for your fur babies. I have 2 large dog beds which I wash between uses. Cats can lounge wherever they’d like. I have excellent heat and AC. I also have a variety of toys for cats and dogs (which also get washed and sanitized), and keep a variety of healthy snacks and (rawhide-free) chews on hand, food and water bowls, as well as a couple litter boxes (litter choice is up to you). I also have a variety of harnesses (currently only for medium and large breed dogs) leads, and dog seat belts, clip-on lights for night walks. If you prefer your pet be crated while here you will need to supply the crate. ** Photos of house and interior upon request. In a Client’s Home Follow the owner’s routine to keep the pet comfortable. Feed, water, and administer any necessary medication. Take dogs for walks and provide playtime. Clean up after them (litter boxes, accidents, etc.). Provide companionship to reduce stress from their owner’s absence. Send updates and pictures to the owner.
