About: Hi! I'm a dog-loving teacher who has rescued and adopted many dogs in my lifetime. I have a dog at home: Gracie Lou, a 13 year-old pit-mix. I would love to be able to lend a hand to anyone else who knows the trouble of finding someone to watch the fur-kids when they travel. I usually rescue Seniors, so I understand the unique needs they sometimes have. Additionally, I have been involved with pit bull rescue and have a love and appreciation for the bully breeds. I have lived in Saratoga for 9 years and know all of the dog-friendly and accessible places to visit. If my schedule works for you, let me help! During the summer, I am available for walks during the week and on the weekend. When the fall begins, I have limited evening availability and average availability on the weekends. Occasionally, I am able to take in a dog or two for overnight stays, but generally, I will stay overnight at a client’s home. I will make sure that your dogs are loved and cared for.

About: Hello! My name is Kara, and while I am new to Rover, I'm certainly looking forward to putting my extensive animal care experience to good use! I currently own two cats named Ernie and Fern, and I hope to one day add some more friends to our family. Nearly every job I've had involved the care of animals, from my first job at a doggy daycare, to a few summers spent working at a veterinary clinic, a challenging but rewarding period of time at an animal shelter, and my most recent work at a dairy farm! Even as a child, several neighbors trusted me enough to ask that I care for their pets while they were out of town. Through all of this, I developed the ability to understand the individual needs of each animal and to work toward meeting those needs. Whether your furry friends love long walks, playtime in the yard, or just hanging out on the sofa, I would love to help out! I'm available for drop-in visits or more extensive stays as well. I just moved to Saratoga with my husband, so I'm looking for some meaningful work to start off my time here. My schedule is relatively open, so I can make time for most types of care routines. I live in Saratoga but I’m willing to travel to surrounding areas for your pets. I have grown up with pets my entire life and feel comfortable with cats, dogs and other animals. My favorite thing to do is take the dogs out for a walk, play fetch and just getting them active. If you have any special requests for your dog or pet I can certainly make sure that these are accommodated. Thanks for looking! I prefer to work after 4, so afternoon walks, let out, or overnight stays. I can also make myself available on the weekends, early in the morning and later at night. If is it multiple days, then I can coordinate to make sure the pets are getting the playtime and outside time that they need. I love to care for all pets.
