About: My family raised me to love and respect animals of all kinds.. but I am not a fan of the reptile family (sorry!). I helped train a family dog during my high school years and became a foster mom/adoption advisor for a rescue in 2006. I have helped about 30 dogs find their furever homes! Personally, I have 5 dogs and 2 cats in heaven, and 3 dogs here with me now. I do provide pet sitting services for friends and neighbors with dogs, cats, and furry caged critters (i.e. guinea pigs, bunnies). I am experienced with dogs of all ages (puppy to senior) and varying temperaments (i.e. fearful puppy mills rescues, timidity with hearing/sight challenges, incontinence) and use positive reinforcement for training. I am currently unemployed, but have worked remote since 2020. I am out and about almost daily throughout the week, but usually not away for more than 6 hours at a time. NC state law prevents unlicensed daycare or paid boarding in private homes. See www(dot)ncagr(dot)gov (slash)divisions (slash)veterinary (slash)aws for more information. When providing drop-in services, I will do my best to honor the requests of the pet parents.

About: I have raised my sweet cat Sneaky since she was a kitten, as well as my dog Mabel since she was a puppy. I have had Sneaky for 7 years, and Mabel for 5. They are my life! I also have some grooming experience, so I am familiar with animals in a professional setting as well. I currently work for Instacart and attend NC State University. I'll be able to take care of your pets any time I'm not in school! I will care for your pets to your exact specifications and keep them great company! I am available for walks, drop ins, and some house sitting!

“OH MY WORD!! This was the first time we ever had a pet sitter and Charles was the BEST!! He took care of our PRECIOUS babies all week and posted pictures for us; which was AWESOME!! Your site is AWESOME!! Thank you so much for being there for us!!!”

“I have been extremely pleased when I come home to a happy Pup! Mae has been wonderful with in-depth updates and pictures! Would highly recommend to anyone needing a sitter. You know when you can come home and tell that your furry child had been taken care of? Mae is that person 100%. Very excited to book with her again in the future.”

About: I have been pet sitting ever since I was 14 for neighbors and family friends. I have had pets for my entire life and I am comfortable caring for any type of pet. I currently have a dog, a cat, and a leopard gecko. I'm currently enrolled in college courses at Wake Tech, but I can easily work around your pets needs to make sure they get the best care. I also work part-time, but I have flexible hours. I am free anytime during summer and other school breaks as well! I have experience with younger and senior animals so I can easily adapt to your pets needs. I am good at building trust with your pets and I have experience working with several different animals.

About: Hi, I’m Paulina! I’ve been around dogs my whole life and started working as a dog walker and sitter back in 2015. Since then, I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I also have two German Shorthaired Pointers of my own, so I’m very familiar with high energy and strong willed dogs, and I understand how important it is to give them the right balance of structure, activity, and attention. Every dog is different, and I take the time to get to know their routine, what makes them comfortable, and what they enjoy most. Whether it’s a long walk, quiet time, or just having someone nearby, I want them to feel safe and at ease. I also enjoy spending time with cats and have experience doing drop-in visits. I grew up with one, so they do hold a special place in my heart. I’m happy to stop by, make sure they’re fed, and spend a little time with them while you’re away. You may notice a gap in my Rover history because I was working full-time and had to take a step back. I’m glad to be back and taking on clients again. I genuinely enjoy caring for animals and making sure pet parents feel confident and comfortable when they’re not home. If you're looking for someone dependable, patient, and experienced, I’d love to help out. Looking forward to meeting you and your pets. Additional Experience • Clifton Animal Shelter (NJ) — Volunteer (2014–2016) Helped care for dogs and cats—feeding, walking, cleaning, and socializing. • Dogs Deserve Better Piedmont (NC) — Volunteer (2025–Present) Work to unchain dogs by providing kennels, shelter, food, toys, vet care, and spay/neuter support. I’ll make sure to adjust my calendar to stay as up-to-date as possible when I have availability and am excited to get back to walking dogs in my free time! I will carefully follow all your instructions when entering and exiting your home to ensure both your pup and your home are respected and safe at all times.

“Vanessa stole my Tasso's heart!!! She was fabulous! I could not believe the photos AND videos that she sent me. She cast magical spells on the wee chap and caused him to appear like a professional doggy model. I wish I could post the photos Vanessa sent and include the very detailed updates throughout the day of her interaction with my Norwich Terrier. Vanessa simply spoiled my dog and was very indulgent with Mr. Biscuit our fat cat!! I will always book Vanessa first and foremost!”

About: Hi! I’m Nicole. I know and understand the fear and uncertainty of leaving your babies while you’re away from home. I would love to take care of them and reassure you of their comfort and safety while you’re away. I have 2 cats of my own but love dogs just as much! I work a 9-5 in Raleigh Monday through Friday so have limited drop in capabilities during the week. However, i’m available for weeknight/weekend stays or weekend drop-ins! I can stay at your place and keep your dog or cat company throughout the week or drop in throughout the weekend to feed, water, clean up litter boxes and play!
