About: About ten years ago, a friend of mine asked, "Jenny, do you think it's a coincidence that you love every cat you meet or are you going to admit you're a cat lady?" I didn't grow up with cats, so as an adult, when I was confronted with another cat in my friend group or dating partner, I found myself endlessly delighted by each of their quirks. Each cat I have come across seems to be unique, quirky, and alternately fastidious and charming. The one piece of advice a previous partner said that I've never forgotten is "Ru will tell you how she likes to be pet". And that piece of advice has proven its weight every time it's tested. I have a 9yo domestic short hair tabby of 9lbs and she's a precious sweetheart. Recently she's become an outdoor porch cat, which has delighted me as much as it has given me anxious pause every time she wanders where I can't see her. I have previous experience in house sitting a friend's 2 cats while they went on vacations. About: I have had dogs from 30lbs to 150 lbs and I have loved them all! In my free time I volunteer hiking with dogs at a local animal shelter. And spend the rest of the time spoiling my two fur babies at home. I work remote and have a flexible schedule that can accommodate a wide range of needs during the weekdays as well as on the weekends. My two fur babies are trained to listen off leash, but love to go for walks on leash. One is a couch potatoes that can be trusted and one a wild puppy that is crate trained. About: I grew up with my dad's chocolate lab and my mother's Westie mix. Two totally different personalities and each wonderful in their own ways. My favorite way to connect with your pet will be play, but I also love finding the places that a pupper loves to be rubbed, patted, or pet. Let me know what your special pupper likes and dislikes and I will do my best to care for them like I would my own baby. About: Our family has had pets for many years. We decided to offer our boarding and day care services as a "family" business, and to possible do this during retirement. We are active adults, and still have a teenager in the home that helps with this endeavor, as he is saving up for his first car. I am currently retired and work part time. Other members of the household also work flexible schedules, thus can meet the needs of most pets and pet owners. We are typically available most weekends and holidays. Our home is pet friendly. We have all vinyl flooring, and a large fenced in backyard. We also have the ability to take daily walks as our road is not heavily traveled. We live off the road, and our furry guests really enjoy looking out all the windows and doors at the squirrels, chickens and other wildlife. Our home is usually calm and mellow, so you your pet cannot handle a lot of barking/noise, they will probably love our home! We do not crate our furry friends, except out of the request of the owner. Although we have listed one pet at a time, we will take up to two from the same household.

I am retired so your pet care is my first responsibility. During the summer, I will walk in the morning with potty breaks in the afternoon if it's too hot. About: I've grown up with dogs my entire life, and currently have a rescue family dog who I adore. During my time in college, I worked at a local animal shelter for almost 9 months, specifically with dogs. I was trained on cleaning, walking and playing, feeding, etc., so I am very comfortable with what to do. If a dog had specific dietary/medical needs, I would carefully follow the instructions for that specific dog. From Chihuahuas to Great Danes, I am happy to care for any breed! I currently work a part-time job, usually 3-4 times a week depending on the month. Shifts are typically only 4 hours each day in the afternoons, so I am pretty flexible!
