About: I'm that girl who gets birthday cards from her friends with pictures of adorable animals on them every year :) The one who gets called when a furbaby needs a home or a place to stay for a while. I've been caring for pets since I was a child, and loved them for as long as I can remember! Aside from having dogs and cats of my own over the years, I have fostered over a dozen of them, rescued numerous stray or lost cats and dogs, and cared for many of my friends' pets. I've cared for pets with a variety of medical conditions including heart disease, epilepsy, Cushings, kidney disease, pulmonary hypertension, chronic bronchitis, chronic IBS, skin conditions, and allergies. I have the skills and experience to understand how to care for pets in less than optimal health, and I think it's important to always be in tune with the signs and behaviors an animal exhibits in order to make proactive decisions and look out for them. They can't speak for themselves, but there is a lot they do communicate to us, and it's our responsibility to pay attention. I treat every pet in my care as though it were my own. I'll be home for the upcoming holidays and would love to take care of your sweet baby while you travel, or if you're simply busy taking care of festivities :) Can't wait to meet you and your fur baby! I currently have two very sweet and docile cats, who will be kept separate from any other cats in my care through Rover. For dog bookings, I am only able to accept dogs who have a known history of being friendly and gentle with cats. I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I am available for repeat visits. If you have a snuggly baby, my work allows me to give them love throughout the day. Mine are usually on my lap or right next to me, so yours is welcome to do the same! I sincerely care for you furbaby as if they were my own. Cats will have their own designated area in the home, with plenty of toys, climbing and scratching posts, and they will be able to spend time on my screened in patio each day they're here. I have a large fenced in yard for your dog to run around, as well as a screened in patio. My house is very pet friendly indoors as well, and I am happy to give all the snuggles as I work during the day.

About: I was a cat sitter when I was younger and when I lived out on my own I adopted a kitten who I absolutely loved and created a special bond with. Some cats need extra time and space when getting to know someone new. I am very respectful and understanding of this. About: I was originally pre-vet and also worked kennel technician jobs, so I have years of experience with dog/cat pet care and medicine administration. I am comfortable caring for any age of pets. I am currently working full time Monday-Friday from 7:30-4. I work from home Monday and Friday, so I have more flexibility those days. I am free every Saturday and Sunday. I also get all holidays off, and am usually available those days/holiday weekends. My apartment complex has a dog park area and I have a personal fenced back area. It is mostly concrete but has some flower beds. I have a cat in my home, and he has been tested with other dogs/cats and keeps to himself. He can be closed off in my room if needed. There is also a guest bedroom that has nothing of importance in there, so if there’s a situation where you’d prefer a safe quiet space for a potentially anxious pet, that should be perfect. About: I have been a dog owner my entire life! Love all shapes and sizes! You can feel comfortable with me as I am a retired elementary school teacher and adore dogs. I treat my two yorkies as my children and will treat your dog with love, empathy and patience. Very reliable and walking is my favorite activity! Overnight stays can be arranged if needed. I have had an old English sheepdog, German short haired pointer, collie, Rottweiler, an Irish Setter, and I currently own two Yorkshire Terriers Lilly and Brutus. I am a retired elementary teacher that lives in downtown Decatur. I walk between 3-5 miles per day so I’d gladly take your baby along with me. Daouda did an amazing job caring for our 2 cats while we were out of town! One cat was in a cone while we were gone after having some surgery and the other is on several pills and liquid medication, so caring for them wasn’t the easiest, but Daouda had no problems handling all of it. One of our cats can also be super shy but warmed up to him right away, and both looked very happy in all the photos we received. Even more telling was how relaxed and happy the cats were when we got home. Normally they are very clingy after we’ve been gone and have some residual separation anxiety, but they didn’t have any after this trip. Daouda also brought in an extremely large and heavy package that arrived for us while we were gone so we didn’t have to worry about it sitting outside until we got back, and that was super helpful. We are looking forward to booking him again and recommend him to anyone else looking for a pet sitter!
I had to leave town spur-of- the- moment and was able to secure Priscilla to care for my three indoor cats and one (feral) outdoor cat. She did a fantastic job without having met any of the cats beforehand. I feel like she cared for my cats as I would had i been here. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for quality pet care.
