About: I have been around dogs my whole life. I have trained many dogs, including pitbull’s Saint Bernards, Chihuahuas, Maltese, etc. I have taken care of dogs at all ages in stages of life, elderly, puppy, pregnant. I absolutely adore dogs! I am an avid walker and walk over 6 miles daily. I would love to help out some people with furry friends who aren’t able to walk them as much! I am a great choice when it comes to watching your dog when you are away! I am super accountable and enjoy spending time with dogs!
“Savannah is the absolute best! We had a last minute need while we were out of town and she dropped everything to help us out! Our pups adore her and she kept us informed of her visits without ever having to ask or wonder how things were going. Responsible. Reliable. Kind. Caring. And very in tune with our pups! An absolute gem!”

“Sarah made my international travel so much easier knowing that my loved cat is under her attentive care for a full month. She follows all the instruction, monitored her health condition, and went beyond to arrange play ground for her! The rover card is also great, with lovely photos and notes. I am very happy that Spring is healthy and happy when I am away.”

“Meghan left great and considerate notes. She took Sawyer on lots of walks. She was very prompt and tidy. I will definitely continue to use her services. She was great!”

“My pup lived her best life while I was away! Chelsea did drop ins at my house and even though I unknowingly ended up somewhere with ZERO service for 2 days she was true and treated my doggy right on a holiday weekend no less. BOOOOOOOK CHELSEAAAAAA NOWWWWW!!!”

“Jay was really wonderful with my pup. He was always prompt and on time when coming to feed and walk her, and I could tell she was having a blast because of all the picture updates he included with a rundown of each visit. I was so grateful to have someone take care of my pup at home while I was away, and Jay gave me peace of mind knowing she was in good hands.”

“An amazing sitter! She took her time making sure the litter boxes were cleaned and the cats were all accounted for. My wife and I were able to unwind from our trip without a worry thanks to Danielle!”

“Cameron was amazing with my pup. Took him on great walks, cuddled with him on the couch, and played with him. She leaves great notes and took lots of pictures. Sawyer was in great hands! Very responsible.”

“Joy was an excellent! She was very thorough, conscientious, and we had no hesitation to leave our furry friends in her care. Her attention to detail is amazing. We would be happy to have her take care of Levi and Lucky anytime.”

About: I love animals but can’t have pets in my apartment so would appreciate sharing that love with your pet! I have been caring for a variety of pets since 2019, mostly dogs & cats (and the occasional bird!). I have experience with dogs of all sizes (from chihuahuas to Great Danes) and most ages. I have less experience with puppies but lots of experience with senior dogs. I have experience with high energy dogs that need multiple walks a day and dogs that struggle with mobility. I have experience with dogs who require medication. I have experience with cats of all temperaments. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out. I have a fairly flexible schedule so am available during the day most days and on weekends. I have been regularly caring for my parents’ elderly Great Dane (11 years old now) since 2020. I am looking forward to spending more time caring for pets. I care for pets in their home environment according to the standards set by the owners. I am very conscious of varying family rules on things such as furniture and am happy to adhere to those expectations. I prefer to stick to whatever schedule the pet(s) are used to (regular walk times, regular feeding times, etc).
“Couldn’t recommend Elizabeth enough! She was watched my dog and 2 cats while I traveled internationally. She was incredibly accommodating and communicative. This was our first time leaving our dog for so long and she did a wonderful job of making him feel comfortable and relaxed. One of my cats also is usually incredibly shy around strangers and Elizabeth is the only sitter I’ve used from Rover who he comes out for. Our flight got delayed and Elizabeth was very accommodating to the change in the schedule. We are so appreciative!”

About: As an elementary school teacher, patience, consistency, attentiveness, and building trust are a big part of what I do every day. I’m looking to provide pet care as a way to earn some additional income while continuing to do something I genuinely enjoy: helping and supporting others in my community. My goal is for you to feel confident that your pets are safe, cared for, and getting the attention they deserve while you’re away. I’ve been caring for pets for many years through drop-in visits, with experience caring for dogs, cats, and rabbits. I typically handle feeding (refreshing food and water), letting dogs out, any necessary clean up, and spending time with pets who simply want some company and attention. Rabbits are a particular specialty of mine. I have nearly a decade of experience caring for rabbits, including elderly rabbits who require more attentive and nuanced care. I understand that rabbits can have very specific routines and needs, and I take the time to follow their care instructions carefully and notice the little things that can make a big difference. I typically am out of out work by 3pm, allowing me plenty of time let in the day to support your pet as needed. While I like to stick to weekdays, weekends are not off the table. I want you to feel completely comfortable knowing your pet is in good hands. I’m attentive to their routines and needs, follow care instructions carefully and make their safety and comfort a priority during every visit. I’ll care for your home respectfully and keep you updated so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away (with plenty of pictures! :D)
About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life, including German Shepherds, Chihuahuas, and Shih Tzus. I currently have a Chihuahua of my own, so I understand how much our pets mean to us. I’m comfortable with both large and small dogs and love getting to know each dog’s unique personality. I’m patient, gentle, attentive, and will treat your dog like family while they’re in my care. I have a flexible schedule and can work pet care into my daily routine. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting, and I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship. I’m happy to communicate about your pet’s specific routine and needs. I treat every pet and home with the same care and respect I would want for my own. I follow your instructions closely, keep pets safe and supervised, and make sure they have everything they need. I’m dependable, gentle, and attentive to each pet’s individual personality and routine.
“Tina did such an amazing job with my two cats! From the beginning she was very quick and reliable to communicate with so booking with all of my special instructions about apartment quirks was a breeze. My cats seemed to warm up to her right away and she took plenty of photos and videos that helped me miss them less. I’m so grateful for all of the playtime they got. I’d definitely rebook!”

“Fallon was very communicative and asked good questions. She took good care of our cats and made sure they were played with and got good outside time. Also, as a testament to her care, the cats were not freaked out or out of sorts when we got home after a week away.”

“Ryan is great with our dog Wylder. He drops in over the weekend and takes him for walks/potty breaks. He sends photos of him playing and info on what they did. Wylder definitely seems happier and calmer since Ryan has been dropping in.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Wilshire
I had to leave town spur-of- the- moment and was able to secure Priscilla to care for my three indoor cats and one (feral) outdoor cat. She did a fantastic job without having met any of the cats beforehand. I feel like she cared for my cats as I would had i been here. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for quality pet care.

I will absolutely be having Brandon watch Mazie again! He was so attentive, played with her, and she snuggled with him. It made me happy to see Mazie to getting so comfortable so fast. My place and litter boxes were left in pristine conditions. Brandon is a 100/10 sitter

Brittany was extraordinary. From the communication to the genuine concern she showed over my pet and keeping my home tidy as best as she could while i was away. Her energy is amazing and she makes you feel secure,in a business like this that is extremely important.Book her!!

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
