I have a disabled, senior dog with a degenerative disease and I was really worried about finding someone with the right experience to check up on him during the day while I’m at work, and Anders has been perfect. He’s very professional, understanding, and clearly compassionate about pets. My dog has a lot of special needs since he’s unable to support himself with his hind legs now, including diapers and needing to be cleaned up between changing to avoid UTIs, and Anders has been great about meeting those needs. It’s a huge relief to me knowing my dog is well looked after while I’m away. There was a tornado warning in the city today and I was really worried about my pets, but luckily it aligned with Anders’ check in and he made sure to message me about moving my dog to the basement for me. I live in the bottom unit of a duplex home and have full access to a fully fenced in yard. My upstairs neighbor has a dog, but doesn't use the yard with his dog and exits through a separate entrance. I'm a gardener, so your dog will always be supervised while playing in the yard. We live near trails and a park, so there is plenty of opportunity for enrichment on walks as well. I allow my dog on the sofa, but if this is not a habit you want your dog to pick up, I will follow those instructions. I have past experience giving oral medication, caring for senior dogs, puppies, and dogs in recovery from an injury.
