“She was amazing! She was able to help us out on very short notice and was incredibly accommodating when we had to change the drop-in time. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing Maverick was in such good hands while we were away. We’re so grateful for the love and attention she gave our fur baby and would absolutely book with her again. Highly recommend!”

About: I have had pets my entire life and have been a pet parent since 1995. I've had the privilege of having both dogs and cats in our home. And I have also previously pet sat for birds and the occassional pot-bellied pig. I have previously given both cats and dogs oral meds (both liquid and pill form), injectable meds and subcutaneous fluids when needed. With our family pets I have experienced puppy & kittenhood all the way through the elder years. So I am well versed on the needs for each individual age. I do work, but I have a flexible schedule that allows me time during the day and night to take care of your furry kiddos. Whether that entails walks, pop in visits or overnight stays... my goal is to help your fur babies stay happy and calm while you are away. At this point I only offer sitting in your home as my two kitty kiddos tend to be skittish with new faces human or animal. I would never want to stress them out and/or add any stress to your pets.
“Brandy was amazing with our babies!!! She was very responsive and very thorough when it came to what the pups did when she went to visit!!!! She kept us updated with everything that was going on!!! I will 100% be using her again and 1000% recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter!”

About: I have a 2-year-old Great Dane and a senior dog at home, I have experience with dogs of all ages and sizes! With my experience at home, and 6 years as a behavior therapist, I have niche skills that allow me to give the best care to your pets. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I start my mornings with walks and playtime for my own dogs. I am comfortable adjusting my schedule to meet the needs of the pets I care for, whether that means walks, feeding, play, medicine, or snuggle time. I provide attentive and loving care to each pet and home encountered. I keep my own dogs on a strict schedule, and am very dedicated to doing the same with your pets! I am organized and pride myself in my attention to detail, gentleness, and care for pets and their environments.
“Incredibly easy to coordinate with and went above and beyond for Jasper making sure he was taken care of and happy! Absolutely will rebook whenever I can!”

“Katie was amazing!!! Best cat sitter we’ve ever had. Even our very shy cat came out and was comfortable with her. She went above and beyond just feeding them and made sure we had absolutely no worries about them while we were gone. Very communicative, sent plenty of photos and cared for them well. I would highly recommend her.”
“Amanda arrived at our home right on time. She was amazing with our little girl, Kiwi. Amanda was calm & gentle with her. Helping her overcome her fear of strangers as we continue to help our COVID pup get better socialized. Amanda followed instructions and was very communicative. We highly recommend her, and plan to use her services again.”

“Chelsea did a great job with our cats. Arrived home to a clean and tidy kitchen and litter boxes. She is a good communicator and we enjoyed the pictures she sent. We recommend her as a terrific sitter!”

“Megan has been absolutely wonderful! She definitely calmed my fears about leaving my puppy alone. She came to meet us before the pet sitting and provided me with daily updates and pictures. She cared for my little guy like he was her own. He even had numerous puppy accidents and she took care of everything. Highly recommended!!”

“Sadie was awesome and took great care of my boys while I was away. Great communication and letting me know how they were doing. Would highly recommend and will definitely request her care again!”

“Cheyenne has sat for my three dogs on multiple occasions, including stepping in to help very last minute. Great communication, punctual, and the dogs are comfortable with her. Highly recommend.”

About: I have over five years of experience providing reliable pet care for animals of all types. Throughout my undergraduate years, I managed a barn, where I was responsible for daily feeding, turnout, stall cleaning, administering basic care, and monitoring the health and well-being of each animal. This hands-on experience gave me extensive knowledge of animal behavior, health, and proper care. Whether it’s dogs, cats, or other pets, I understand that every animal has unique needs and deserves patient, compassionate, and dependable care. I take pride in treating every pet as if they were my own, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I work in Moncks Corner and live in Summerville, which allows me to serve a wide area. I am available for overnight stays and can provide consistent care throughout the day. I have a one-hour lunch break at noon, allowing me to stop by for potty breaks, walks, feedings, or check-ins. I finish work at 4:30 p.m. each day, so I’ll be with your pets for the rest of the evening and overnight. I’ll always communicate my schedule clearly and make sure your pets receive the attention, exercise, and care they need while you’re away. I care for every pet as if they were my own by maintaining their normal routine and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I carefully follow all feeding schedules, administer medications if needed, provide plenty of exercise and playtime, and ensure they always have fresh water and a clean environment. During house sits, I also treat my clients’ homes with the utmost respect by keeping everything clean, secure, and just as I found it. I provide regular updates with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. My goal is to make your time away as stress-free as possible for both you and your pet.
“We cannot say enough wonderful things about Stephene! She was amazing and was so wonderful with our sweet, senior pup. Delaney is very wary of new people, but Stephene was wonderful with her. We highly recommend Stephene!”

“Dyana did a great job taking care of our animals. She followed instructions and asked questions for ambiguous situations. She also sent pictures as well which was a nice little touch. I would rebook again.”

About: I’ve been working with animals personally and professionally for about 10 years. I can provide your pet with an absolute blast of a sleepover and most of all safe! I treat others pets as well as I treat my own babies. From my experience working with animals I have a very good idea of canine and feline body language in order to provide your pet with a comfortable experience. A long, structured walk with me will leave your pet nice and tired out! I work full time at a vet clinic so I like to use my time on Rover to get some extra exercise and spend some time with some furry friends. My personal dog is not the best at making friends so for now I only do boarding in the pets home. I believe it’s more comfortable for the pet that way as well so they can stick to their routine in their environment. I of course pick up after your pet and will wash food and water bowls daily.

About: I grew up working at a barn since I was about 8. I was a stable hand that was always around looking for work. Lots of members would have me watch their dogs and cats when they would go away. I’ve done overnights and periodic walks throughout the day, even times where I would go and hang out to keep their pets company while their owners were away. I understand the stress of not being able to take your pet with you and I can guarantee that I will always keep you updated and make them feel just as loved and taken care of, because that’s what I would want for my puppy! Currently I am not employed so I have plenty of time to walk and play with your furry friends! I am very flexible and love spending time with animals:) I am a very confident handler. I do have my own dog that I could bring for play dates if it is requested, depending on the dogs needs! Otherwise, I am always very considerate of their home and understand that I am a guest. I do my best to earn and gain any animals trust.

We are definitely rebooking with Brandy! She did an amazing job caring for our two cats. Not only was she amazing with the cats, but she was extremely easy to work and communicate with. I would recommend Brandy to anyone who needs someone to look after their pets.

Jennifer is awesome! Her visits are extremely thorough and she is very diligent about making sure everything is taken care of while also making my pet feel comfortable and taken care of. I love how many photos she takes every time she visits and her daily visit journals are always super detailed. I cannot recommend her enough!

Katie was very reliable and consistent. Provided great updates and photos so I never wondered how our kitty was doing while we were gone. She was very kind and caring and our super shy kitty warmed up to her quickly which is very impressive on its own. We will absolutely book with Katie again and won’t hesitate to recommend her to others.

My pet sitter was absolutely wonderful. She was incredibly loving with my cats, left my home spotless, and kept great communication the entire time. She sent me plenty of photos, and she took the time to play with my kitties and give them lots of affection, which made me feel very at ease while I was away. I would 100% recommend her, and I’d love for her to take care of my kitties again in the future. Thank you so much! 🐾💛

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
