About: I have a 2-year-old Great Dane and a senior dog at home, I have experience with dogs of all ages and sizes! With my experience at home, and 6 years as a behavior therapist, I have niche skills that allow me to give the best care to your pets. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I start my mornings with walks and playtime for my own dogs. I am comfortable adjusting my schedule to meet the needs of the pets I care for, whether that means walks, feeding, play, medicine, or snuggle time. I provide attentive and loving care to each pet and home encountered. I keep my own dogs on a strict schedule, and am very dedicated to doing the same with your pets! I am organized and pride myself in my attention to detail, gentleness, and care for pets and their environments.

“Dawn was great with my pups, even going on the hunt for one of them after my landscapers left the gate open and he got out. She made my trip stress-free, sending pics and taking great care of them.”

About: I have had pets my entire life and have been a pet parent since 1995. I've had the privilege of having both dogs and cats in our home. And I have also previously pet sat for birds and the occassional pot-bellied pig. I have previously given both cats and dogs oral meds (both liquid and pill form), injectable meds and subcutaneous fluids when needed. With our family pets I have experienced puppy & kittenhood all the way through the elder years. So I am well versed on the needs for each individual age. I do work, but I have a flexible schedule that allows me time during the day and night to take care of your furry kiddos. Whether that entails walks, pop in visits or overnight stays... my goal is to help your fur babies stay happy and calm while you are away. At this point I only offer sitting in your home as my two kitty kiddos tend to be skittish with new faces human or animal. I would never want to stress them out and/or add any stress to your pets.

About: I've spent years caring for animals with a variety of personalities, ages, and needs. Living with a Great Dane has made me very comfortable handling large and giant breeds, and caring for my Labrador through her 17th year gave me plenty of experience with the extra patience and attention senior dogs need. I'm also experienced in administering insulin injections and following medication schedules for pets with medical needs. No matter your animal’s age, size, or routine, I'll make sure they receive attentive, compassionate care and feel right at home while you're away. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I have a flexible schedule that allows me to make time for the pets in my care. I typically finish work by 3 PM, and I also have two days each week where I work from home, giving me extra availability and flexibility throughout the day. When needed, I can also use my lunch break to check in on your pets and make sure they’re doing well. I’m available for evening and weekend care as well, allowing me to provide consistent attention, companionship, and support for your pet’s daily routine. I provide pet care in my client’s home, where I can help pets feel comfortable by keeping their familiar routines and surroundings. I understand that every pet has their own needs, so I focus on providing attentive, reliable care that includes feeding, playtime, walks, medication needs, and plenty of companionship. I’m available for weekday visits, evenings, and weekends, and I also offer daily walks and evening walks to help keep pets happy, active, and well cared for while their owners are away.

“Anjali was great with our golden retriever, Andy! She always sent a update at each visit and spent time to give him extra cuddles when he needed. Anjali was on time and very dependable. I will be scheduling all my future doggie sitting with Anjali!”

“Julie is amazing!! She gave our boys such good care while we were away, it made me so happy to know that they were getting love & cuddles each day ❤️ Her updates were very detailed and photos were so cute! I highly recommend her if you need your fur babies taken care of.”

About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up on a farm caring for horses, cows, pigs, dogs, and other animals. That experience gave me a lifelong love of animals and a strong sense of responsibility for their care. Whether your furry friend is full of energy or prefers a quiet cuddle on the couch, I'll tailor my care to what makes them the happiest. I know how hard it can be to be away from your pet. My goal is to give you complete peace of mind by providing dependable, loving care while keeping your pet's routine as consistent as possible. I'll treat your fur baby like family, because that is what they are. I am currently working full time. I am available on the weekends and after 5 pm on weekdays during the school year. During the summer and school breaks, my availability is more open. I make sure to spend time with your fur babies to make sure they feel like they are cared for. They will get play time and attention.

We are definitely rebooking with Brandy! She did an amazing job caring for our two cats. Not only was she amazing with the cats, but she was extremely easy to work and communicate with. I would recommend Brandy to anyone who needs someone to look after their pets.

Jennifer is awesome! Her visits are extremely thorough and she is very diligent about making sure everything is taken care of while also making my pet feel comfortable and taken care of. I love how many photos she takes every time she visits and her daily visit journals are always super detailed. I cannot recommend her enough!

Katie was very reliable and consistent. Provided great updates and photos so I never wondered how our kitty was doing while we were gone. She was very kind and caring and our super shy kitty warmed up to her quickly which is very impressive on its own. We will absolutely book with Katie again and won’t hesitate to recommend her to others.

My pet sitter was absolutely wonderful. She was incredibly loving with my cats, left my home spotless, and kept great communication the entire time. She sent me plenty of photos, and she took the time to play with my kitties and give them lots of affection, which made me feel very at ease while I was away. I would 100% recommend her, and I’d love for her to take care of my kitties again in the future. Thank you so much! 🐾💛

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Wide Awake. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
