I relocated to South Carolina about two years ago and work from home full-time (with occasional travel). Because of that, I have a flexible schedule and would love to help out with your pet needs—whether for dogs or cats. (Cats need love too!) I’ve taken care of family dogs since I was a kid, from larger labs, goldens, and lab mixes to mini doodles. I’m always eager to play with friends’ dogs—or even say hi to a stranger’s pup on the street—and I’m open to caring for all breeds. My fiancé and I also have two friendly cats of our own who I care for deeply. I truly enjoy spending time walking and playing with both dogs and cats. To me, pets are family, and they deserve all the love, care, and affection we can give them! :) Please feel free to reach out if you need services—I’d be happy to set up a meet and greet so you feel comfortable. Safety, trust & environment
I will adhere to any/all instructions for your pet. I am extremely attentive and careful as to make sure your pet is in good hands and stays safe. This includes making sure they don’t eat/do anything they aren’t supposed to, following any training (for younger/older pets), misbehaving and disciplining as advised.

Kaitlin look amazing care of my cat Happy while I was away for a week!! She took time to meet me & Happy before I left and is the sweetest person. She was very communication and took so many pictures. I could tell my girl was in great hands, she looked so content and happy in all the pictures. I 100% recommend Kaitlin to watch your pets and I am going to rebook with her the next time I’m away.

Schedule
I work from home full-time and live in Nexton, Summerville, which gives me the flexibility to incorporate pet care into my daily routine. Your pet’s care will easily become part of my day, and I’m happy to adjust my schedule as needed to make sure they get the attention, exercise, and love they deserve.

- It’s helpful to understand what type of energy level and your pet’s demeanor. If they require a lot of attention during walks, more discipline on the leash, reprimanding when needed, etc. it’s also helpful to know what words you have used previously that your pet should recognize from training. Anything to avoid with food, behaviors, activities, and more. I appreciate the over communication to know ahead of time in order to level-set expectations. If your pet is not friendly at first or is shy at first, that helps to know!
