“Our three dogs stayed with Amanda and her family for ten days and had a great time. Plenty of play time outdoors with Amanda’s dogs and children. All three came home tired but happy. Amanda was flexible in terms of scheduling and attentive to our dogs needs. She sent pictures and updates throughout the stay. We felt very comfortable leaving pups with her and hope to book with Amanda again next time we travel. An A+++ experience from start to finish.”

“Kristi and her family were amazing watching our 2 dogs when our Boarder closed about a month before our travel. She sent pictures and videos daily that our kids looked forward to. Our dogs were in a much better place than boarding because they didn't spend half a day in a cage and got to play with their own dog. They loved our dogs like their own. We will absolutely book again, not only for the peace of mind, but it was evident the dogs loved it there too. Highly recommend!”

“Kennel was clean, spacious and the yard was well kept. Our small dogs felt comfortable with yard and explored immediately on arrival. Jeanne was prompt with responses and sending updates. Will book again.”

“My first time using rover with my pit bull mix puppy. Very good communication and sent lots of pictures to me of him playing! Would recommend her for your pup. Backyard is made for dogs!”

“Sarah was wonderful! Our dog is 10 years old and has been sick so he’s on several medications twice a day and Sarah took wonderful care of him. I was incredibly anxious about leaving him and she provided daily updates and pictures that showed he was in great hands. We picked him up and he was perfectly happy and seemed to have had a great time with Sarah and her family! Would absolutely recommend and would love for Sarah to watch any of our pets in the future!”

“Megan was absolutely fantastic!! We boarded our large breed dog, Dutch, with her for over a week while out of town and had an amazing vacation knowing that our pup was being loved and cared for like her own. We loved getting the frequent updates and pictures showing he was having a blast, and Megan always communicated quickly and was extremely flexible with scheduling our pick up and drop off times. We will definitely be trusting her with our pup again, 10/10 seriously cannot recommend her enough!!”

“Another great stay with Jamie and Alec! They are really great about sending pics to calm my fraying dog-dad nerves! Frankie really seems to enjoy the experience as well.”

“Laetitia is AMAZING! Very warm and friendly and took great care of my baby while I was away. My girl Gemma felt right at home and she came home very happy. Definitely recommend her for your dogs care!!”

“Michelle took such great care of our two dogs. Our big mutt is kinda weird with other dogs & needs someone to care for him who understands his body language and nuisances. Michelle was incredibly qualified for Rip’a “weirdness.” She sent several pictures and checked in frequently. She also had great advice for training and information I should look into to better care for Rip. If you’re looking for a very knowledgeable caregiver, look no further! Michelle is wonderful.”

“Absolutely phenomenal! This was one of the best rover experiences we have ever had. She was so amazing with the dogs but even more than that Amanda was beyond helpful and kind with handling our wonky weekend with changing plans. She sent photos of the doggies throughout the stay and was great with updating us over the weekend. Could not recommend enough!”

“Rebecca took amazing care of our two dogs for 7 or 8 days. She kept us so Informed, and made sure they got lots of love, playtime and even a bath! I can’t recommend her enough. We will Be using her every time now.”

“The absolute best… hands down!!! We are so grateful to have found a permanent sitter for our fur baby. Thank you for taking such good care of our sweet boy. Until next time !”

“Absolutely 5 stars for Chelsea! She was a lifesaver, stepping in to watch our dog for a weekend with very little notice. Chelsea went above and beyond by offering to meet early to introduce the dogs, which gave us such peace of mind. Throughout the stay, she kept us updated with plenty of pictures, showing how much care and attention our pup was getting. It was clear our dog was pampered and treated like one of her own. We couldn’t be happier with the experience and will definitely be booking with her again. Highly recommend Chelsea to anyone needing a caring, reliable sitter!”

“This was the first time I've had to board my dog with someone so I was definitely apprehensive about leaving him. Lina immediately put us at ease with the meet and greet. She gave me several updates with pictures and videos each day that we were gone and I could tell that he was well taken care of. I would be happy to use her again in the future”

“Brandy is wonderful! She takes great care of our kitties and our house. She always takes the time to lay eyes on the cats and interact with them when she comes over, and she updates us on how they are doing (my kids love seeing her daily pictures of them). We have had her sit for us 3 times now. It is such a blessing to know that our kitties are well cared for while we are away. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a petsitter!!”

“Thank you, Amanda, for taking care of our guys! Everything was done just as we asked it to be and we loved getting all the photos. Basil is 100% in love with you now.”

“Jennifer was perfect! This was my first time using Rover and she ensured everything was done correctly and even came by to meet Zeep and ensure she knew where everything was before the actual visit. Her reports were very thorough and included Zeep’s behavior and mood as well as routine items. She will be the first person I look at when I need a Rover sitter in the future :)”

“She was great! She was prompt and great at keeping us updated. Our puppy seemed to really like her because he was good all week! Can't wait to have her back to help out with our little guy.”

“Missy is an amazing cat sitter. She is very sweet and good with cats. She takes time to play with them and makes sure they are well fed. Highly recommend her! And we will definitely be using her services for future trips. Thank you!”

“Sierra was absolutely amazing! She was available last minute and took such great care of my dog Bonnie. My puppy can be hyper, and very needy, Sierra handled her beautifully. Extensive walks, treats, play time, feeding time and lots of belly rubs! I will 100% hire her again!!!”

“Megan was absolutely amazing with our two cats! I’m always nervous to leave them, and she went above and beyond to provide plenty of updates and photos during each visit. Our one cat who normally is scared of people came right up to her at our meet and greet, because even she could tell what an animal lover Megan is! We will absolutely be using her again in the future!”

About: I grew up always having a house full of animals. I have always had cats/dogs in my house and have trained multiple dogs over the years. I also pet sat throughout high school and college. I currently have a very energetic mutt named Dodger who is my world! I do work full-time in a school but during summer, weekends, and breaks I am pretty much always free. I can also pop in for drop-ins or walks after school hours or house sit as long as it is close-ish to work. I will respect your home with the same care I would expect someone to treat my own, will not touch or use anything without permission, and clean up after myself/wipe down any surfaces used. Your rules go.
About: From my first pet bunny Nibbles at the age of seven, to now - a 26yo boy mom with my 12yo orange cat Fenway, 3yo Pitbull Xylo, and my two horses Karl and Scraps - caring for animals has always been my deepest passion. I have cared for all types of animals, large and small, and pride myself of providing the highest level of care and love to each one. I have my BS in Animal Science from UConn, have been a farm sitter for several families, cared for my own families animals, and have been an animal owner myself for nearly all my life. I have experience with a wide range of dog breeds - from Belgian Malinois to Chihuahuas to Swiss Mountain Dogs. I have cared for animals in all stages of life - from puppies to seniors, foals to stallions, kittens to wise older cats. I treat every animal I work with as if it was my own. I am currently a stay-at-home mom for my 18mo son while my husband is attending Navy basic training. I am new to the area and eager to explore, and am also consistently active with my own pup - we walk regularly, jog and play frisbee. Being able to provide other dogs with the same care fits perfectly into my active schedule. I am comfortable with crates, invisible fences, walking on slow or busy roads with dogs who walk beautifully on a leash, or those who don’t. I am able to provide the exact type of care and play that the owner needs for each individual animal.

“Dyana did a great job taking care of our animals. She followed instructions and asked questions for ambiguous situations. She also sent pictures as well which was a nice little touch. I would rebook again.”

“Kelley is awesome! Our little scardy cat actually made several appearances when she came over and he almost always hides. She provided several pictures and I know she took fantastic care of them while I was away. Thank you so much for taking care of our fur babies!”

“So happy I was able to rebook Stephene to watch my cat! Unfortunately, I didn't get around to reviewing her the last time I had her watch my cat. One of the most important things to me when I am away is that I can trust someone to show up and take care of my pets. My cat will hide, however Stephene will always find him, play with him, and send me pics! I love that!! Stephene is very dependable - always on time and is a caring pet sitter!!”

“Rebecca helped me out tremendously with the cats and adjusting her schedule to fit mine. She communicated with me a lot and the cats loved her. I will definitely use Rebecca again.”

About: Hi! I'm Kernix — a military spouse, dog lover, and proud chocolate Lab mom to Josie! I know how important it is to find a safe, loving, and stress-free place for your pup while you're away. My goal is to provide a true "home away from home" experience with lots of attention, structure, and affection. I grew up around animals and have always loved caring for them. Growing up, we had pugs, chihuahuas, bunnies, and hamsters, so caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. We moved to South Carolina in October 2025 after previously being stationed in Washington. My husband is originally from Myrtle Beach, SC, and we've loved settling into the Summerville community and making it feel like home. 1 Family at a Time: I only accept one client family at a time so your pup will receive personalized care without the stress of a crowded boarding environment. This setup works especially well for puppies, anxious dogs, seniors, or dogs who simply do better with a calmer environment. About Our Home & Routine: We live in a quiet, dog-friendly neighborhood with a fully fenced backyard where pups can safely play, sniff, and explore. Dogs enjoy regular potty breaks, supervised playtime, enrichment activities, belly rubs, and lots of companionship throughout the day. I also closely follow feeding routines and medication schedules when needed. Meet Josie: We also have our sweet chocolate Lab,Josie! She is extremely friendly and social and has done wonderfully with every person, dog, and cat she has met so far. Josie enjoys meeting friendly dogs and would love a playmate during your pup's stay. Meet & Greets & Communication: I highly encourage meet & greets before boarding, especially for first-time stays. I want both you and your pup to feel comfortable and confident before booking. Communication is very important to me, and I always do my best to stay flexible with drop-off and pick-up times whenever possible. Boarding & Doggy daycare: Doggy day care pickup is by 5 PM. If pickup is needed after 5 PM, please book boarding instead so I can properly accommodate your pup's evening and overnight care routine. Boarding Requirements: To help keep everyone safe and comfortable, I currently only accept: • Dogs that are reasonably potty trained • Friendly dogs that do well around people and other dogs • Dogs that are up to date on vaccinations and flea/tick prevention Because I provide care in my personal home, I may not be the best fit for dogs with severe separation anxiety, destructive behaviors, or frequent indoor accidents.
“They did an awesome job. Truly appreciate the amount of pictures and updates. And most importantly the customer service. Cant wait to book with them again!”

“Chris and Molly are very responsive. They took wonderful care of our Roscoe while we took a day trip into Savannah. They took him for walks every couple hours, played fetch with the ball, and gave treats for being a good boy. It’s nice to know we will have someone to trust with our sweet boy when we come back to town. Thank you, Chris and Molly! We will be a return customer in the future!”

“Marina took great care of our dogs and was a pleasure to work with! She was very responsive, always gave us updates, and our dogs were very comfortable at her home.”

We have a nice sized house with a fenced in backyard so there is plenty of room!
“Kathy B is amazing. We came to the Charleston area to visit friends and we brought with us a 10 month old, active, unneutered Bolonka puppy. We needed a safe place for him while I celebrated my birthday. Kathy not only kept him safe, but she kept him engaged and active. He had a ball playing with her and her family. I recommend her without any hesitation. She is kind, responsible, flexible and fun loving. Best of all, I was able to leave Toby with her without worrying about him.”

“This was my first time ever using Rover, Megan made it a very comfortable first experience. She kept me updated throughout the day with pictures and text! “Katie is the best! She is so great with Kiwi and so thorough! We are so grateful for her and her willingness to help us even with last minute walks! She has been an absolute blessing to Kiwi and us! :)”

“Chelsea is a wonderful pet sitter/dog walker. She is reliable, consistently communicative, and great with our dogs and cats. Unfortunately, she was taking care of our dogs during a very rainy week, but she did a great job drying them off and making sure they got out there (even if they didn’t want to go out!). I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to others!”

“Jennifer's care and management of our girls, Fiona the pittie, and Fiona, the African Grey, is superb. She has extensive and practical experience in the care of many species, and applies her knowledge to our girls. She has taken initiative to help Fiona (and me) to work on Fiona leash manners, and is cultivating a relationship with Wanda. Jennifer is prompt and takes your input seriously. I highly recommend her.”

About: What makes me stand out from other sitters is my ability to adapt to different pets and their routines while providing personalized care. Whether it’s puppy potty breaks, daily walks, drop-in visits, playtime, or companionship for senior pets, I always try to make pets feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while their owners are away. As a former college athlete, I’m dependable, active, and used to maintaining routines, which helps me provide consistent care and attention for every pet I work with. Pet care is a significant part of my daily and weekly routine, especially since I have a beloved pet of my own whom I cherish deeply. I schedule regular feeding times, walks, and play sessions not only for my furry friend but also for the pets under my care. Cleaning up after them and ensuring they have a cozy environment are also top priorities. Bonding time is essential too; whether it's cuddling on the couch or teaching new tricks, I make sure to dedicate quality time each day. Additionally, staying updated on any specific needs or medications they may require is crucial. About: Hi! My name is Leah and I live with my Husband, Xavier and our dog Tucker. Xavier and I love annimals and have done lots of pet care over the years so we decided to get on Rover to help save for our wedding and have enjoyed it so much we don’t want to quit. We’ll spend quality time with your pets and love them them like their our own! We always start our day with a walk around the neighborhood or on the walking trail across the street where we get to see lots of local wildlife. If we are working, we’re rarely both gone at the same time and can be mostly flexible for drop in additional potty breaks, plus another walk in the evening. Of course if we’re off that day, we love to dedicate more time to play, walks and snuggles. Since we’re dog owners living in a townhome, daily walks are essential. However we also have a fenced in patio/yard space for urgent/quick potty breaks.

I pay close attention during walks and playtime to keep them safe and comfortable. In your home, I’m respectful, clean, and make sure your pet feels secure while you’re away.

“Definitely recommend Jennifer for our dog! She kept us up to date with our dogs stay including numerous photos! We never had to worry what he was doing at any time! She was very prompt responding! You never had to ask for an update because Jennifer was already messaging us to tell us he’s doing great. I will definitely use Jennifer for the future for another stay! Please use Jennifer for the care of our pets visit! We couldn’t be happier!”

“Our pup acted as though he’d arrived home on our third stay with Kathy and Dennis. He loves his time with them and always returns home a “happy tired”. This last visit he looked back at Kathy as we left for home as if to implore her to come with. We’re so glad to have such awesome folks taking care of him!!”
