About: I have a bulldog, Bruiser that’s 8 years old. My wife and I love him with all our hearts. I love animals so much. I am available most times during the week and some times on the weekend. When looking up “pet’s best friend” there will be a picture of me. Dogs and cats gravitate toward me because I am loving and full of joy. When I walk into a room and there is a dog on one side and a group of people on the other, I b-line it to the dog. I will walk your dog for as long as you’d like and as for cats, I can play with them and never get bored. I’m currently working on my entrepreneurial journey and have tons of free time for meeting new pets! This would be a joy of mine to spend extra time helping others I make sure to play with them in their homes in a way that’s comfortable to them. I get along with all dogs and play with them in a variety of ways.

“Charlotte was awesome. The dogs were a bit over excited at first but she did a great job of calming them down. Would recommend.”

About: What sets me apart is the level of love, patience, and attention I give to every pet in my care. Whether it’s a bouncy puppy learning the ropes or a sweet senior needing extra support, I tailor my care to fit each pet’s unique needs. I have experience with basic puppy training, including leash manners, crate comfort, and potty routines. I’m also confident caring for senior dogs—administering medication, helping with mobility, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Your pet won’t just get a sitter—they’ll get a new friend who truly cares, communicates well, and treats them like family. As a student with a very flexible school schedule, I’m able to plan my days around pet care pretty easily—as long as I have a little notice, I can make it work! I love spending time with animals, whether it's getting outside for a good walk or just hanging out at home. On weekends, you can usually find me curled up with a furry friend or two—it’s honestly my favorite way to relax. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in yours, safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I make sure pets feel secure, loved, and right at home—whether that means sticking to their usual routine, keeping their environment calm, or giving them extra one-on-one attention. In your home, I’m respectful of your space and follow all instructions carefully—from feeding schedules to walk times and any special quirks your pet may have. In my home, I keep things clean, cozy, and pet-friendly, with lots of snuggle spots and safe spaces to relax. Building trust with both pets and their people is important to me, and I always aim to communicate clearly and keep you updated so you feel at ease while you're away.

“Melainie is so great with our chihuahua mix, Bowser. Bowser is a great judge of character and is very selective with who he will allow to rub his belly and he loved Melainie the second he met her!”

“Awesome! Covered a lot of ground. Thank you :)”

“We’ve been using Julie for Cat services, but recently started using Julie for dog walking, she is amazing! Any animal care, call Julie.”

About: PLEASE DO NOT MESSAGE ME IF YOU HAVE PENDING REQUESTS TO OTHER SITTERS. Please understand that when you send me a request, I have to turn down other potential clients while I wait for you to confirm. Thanks in advance for being a considerate neighbor and human. I had dogs all through childhood and college, and miss having a four-legged friend around! Sadly, my own work travel schedule prevents me from having a doggo of my own right now, so I thought that it would be a good compromise to lend a hand to other frequent flyers who love their pup too much to put them in the kennel. Rest assured that your dog will not get just a 15-minute lap around the block to pee, I'll take him or her to the dog park, on a hike, or if your pup is more low-key, I'll totally snuggle on the couch. My pet ownership experience is mostly with big dogs (sheperds), so that's definitely my soft spot, but I've taken care of all breeds and sizes through volunteering as a foster with a rescue group in my former home of Washington, DC. I have a reliable car, so it's easy for me to get to your place to check in a couple of times a day. I work from home, so I am pretty flexible. I do live with a sassy cat, but we live in a big duplex where pets can be separated if needed. I will strive to stick to your pet's usual routine whether I am sitting at your home or boarding in my own home. They are already missing their humans, and maintaining their routine gives them one less thing to be anxious about.

“I had a wonderful experience with Erica as my dog walker! She kept me updated throughout the walk, providing all the details. Her communication was excellent, and it was clear that she genuinely cares about the dogs she walks. I highly recommend Erica to anyone looking for a reliable, caring dog walker!”

About: Hi, I’m McKenna! I’ve always been an animal lover and grew up in a home with both a dog and a cat, so caring for pets has been a big part of my life. Currently, I share my home with my sweet staffy-lab mix, who I care for with my boyfriend. I have hands on experience with many aspects of pet care, including exercise, feeding, giving medications, and providing enrichment activities to keep pets happy and healthy. Whether it’s a walk, playtime, or just some good company, I’m here to make sure your furry family member is well cared for. I’m excited to meet you and your pets and i’ll treat them like one of my own! I am currently a graduate student working towards my masters in speech language pathology! My schedule is on and off classes and clients, so I am home multiple times throughout the day. I have a fenced in backyard and a 1.5 year old dog named Millie who loves to play! I am able to crate your dog if needed and meet your routine needs. I am happy to take your fur baby for long or short walks or spend my time however you want!

About: I grew up with a cocker spaniel named Tiffany. I had a cat for 18.5 years who I had since the day he was born. I adopted a dog during the 2020 stay at home orders, he is now 4 years old. I have been able to work from home permanently since 2021 and that has given me the opportunity to be home all day with my boy. I have been pet sitting on rover for the past year and love caring for all your babies. I work from home so I can be home with your pet all day. I am home most evenings during the week. My weekends will have a more varied schedule but I am more than willing to work with you to meet the needs of your pet. I typically walk my own dog twice a day and am willing to provide whatever amount of exercise your pet needs. I have a fully fenced in yard where your dog is allowed to explore and play. I have a security camera I typically watch when the dogs are in the yard. I'm happy to provide whatever activity your pet needs including walks, fetch, or dog parks (if allowed).

About: I've had dogs since I was a kid, for as long as I can remember. I've had dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. My last dog was trained so well that friends and neighbors decided to get a dog for themselves after meeting him. Currently I have a 3 year old dog at home, along with my wife and 2 teenagers. We all love dogs because of the mutual unconditional love. I love taking dogs on walks, playing fetch with them in our small backyard and going to the dog park is a favorite activity for the whole family. Our dog is happiest when playing with other dogs and then getting so tired she can poop out on our couch while cuddling one of us. We have a small backyard but live in a very dog friendly neighborhood with sidewalks so when playing in the backyard isn't exercise enough long walks are great. I am familiar with giving dogs different medications and dealing with different dog personalities. I am an educator, so I am home for the summer, so our routine is flexible. I typically start the day with a morning walk by 7:00 am and then see where the day takes us. We take our last potty break around 10:00 pm before heading to bed. I have a fenced in backyard. I allow pets on our furniture. I do not have a crate, but I am comfortable crating dogs if that is what they are accustomed to. I have a dog and a cat at home. The cat mostly avoids dogs. I love dogs and they will be safe, loved, and taken good care of. There is usually always somebody at home to watch the pets, and we have a flexible schedule to accommodate to that.

About: Hi! I'm Nikki, a traveling teacher with a passion for exploring the world and building relationships. I've created my own tutoring business where I offer beginner Spanish lessons for kids and also assist families enrolled in virtual learning. I spend the summer and fall living in Milwaukee, WI close to family and friends, but once Jack Frost starts creeping in I head towards warmer weather. While my nomadic lifestyle does not allow me to have a pet of my own right now, I take great pride in being able to care for the pets of others. Growing up, my days were spent playing with and caring for animals. We had goats, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, turtles, and a wiener dog who I trained to do dog agility. Nowadays, I'm the go to dog and cat sitter for family and friends when they need someone to watch their pets. I have experience caring for puppies and kittens as well as senior pets and feel comfortable administering medications if needed. I'm a teacher who now works remotely now! I have a pretty flexible teaching schedule with many breaks built in throughout the day. Sticking to a routine feeding schedule and letting dogs out to use the bathroom should not be an issue. I find that pets tend to be much more comfortable in their own environment, especially when meeting a new person! I am pretty proud of my ability to quickly build rapport with the pets I am sitting and really do want them to transition easily while you are away. I'm a clean and organized individual so you can rest assured your pets, plants, and overall home will be in good hands while you're away.

“SO glad we found/met Lauren (& Alyssa). They’re absolutely wonderful with our very old, wobbly pup & super-responsive with communication. Will definitely be re-booking (over and over) again!”

“Ashley is quite the do lover. She no only loves dogs but has tons of energy for those who like to be super active. In the time I have known Ashley she has not only watched dogs I've had and done an excellent job but she is also a former foster with a local dog rescue. When fostering with an off transport rescue you rarely know what to expect and Ashley has shown that she can care for many types of dogs of varying temperaments. The most memorable was very anxious and mouthy beagle who was later put on Prozac to help with her temperament and behavior. Ashley fostered Tallulah until she was adopted to later be returned multiple times because people just couldn't deal with the challenge that Ashley was. If I had a personal dog i would not only trust Ashley with its care but not worry because I know she would do anything she could to assure it's comfort and care.”

You, and most importantly, your pet, will be very glad you chose Kristy!”

16. Keith O.
