About: I do part time senior Care and some of my clients have animals I find it very important that they are well taken care of and happy as they bring a lot of comfort to my clients when I'm away This means plenty of walks up and down hills going out and sitting on the grass at live music shows and tons of interactions with other dogs while we shop for groceries downtown Food schedules almost go hand in hand when Im meal prepping for my human clients We've invented a few new games with my one clients and her lab misty Her favorite being the wagon tire I attacted to a bind of cordage and a spring up in a tree limb misty loves to jump and snatch the tire while it bounces around Well I love to work out throughout the week and on weekends I would normally go for small hikes woth my friend but she has developed a respiratory issue and can no longer do so I find it would be amazing to get some energy out with so eager to run and play dogs I monitor a lot of potential puppy problems as I call them after all big dogs share a lot in common with toddlers you have to make sure that they arnt biting scratching chewing or marking any beloved items or areas in the house Getting sufficient exercise helps stimulate the dog's and corner these bad behaviors Plenty of treats and positive reinforcement goes a long way as well

About: I have had dogs and cats all my life in my family. I also worked in a vet clinic for 2 years while I was in high school. I helped the clinic with miscellaneous tasks like cleaning but also provided a lot of hands on care for pets when it was needed! I work night shift as a nurse. I work 3 12 hour shifts per week so I have 4 free days per week that I would be available to help care for your pet. My schedule is not always consistent, so I won’t be able to promise the same days every week. I have 2 cats at my home. I do not have a fenced in yard, so any play time would be best at your home or on walks!

About: Growing up my family always had dogs and pets. Since moving to Somers I haven’t taken on any pets of my own, but I occasionally dog sit for my friends and family! Your dogs will feel so loved around me they won’t want to leave! I work remotely during the day so I’ll have plenty of time to hangout with your pets! About: First and foremost, I’m a queer yoga teacher in the area and I haven’t used this account in least two years 😬 I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life. At four, my family started fostering cats (mamas and kittens were my faaaav) and I would help out as much as I could. Yes, I did try to name a kitten Washcloth. No, my mom did not let it stand. This love for animals carried forward throughout my youth with four cats, a German Shepard mix, a malamute, a boxer and pit. My house was always full and as the Aries eldest daughter that I am I always was the first to help out. I got a cat as soon as I could when I moved out on my own and about seven years ago I got a rescue pup of my own. I also have a Rottweiler who I helped raise and train from 7 weeks old. I dedicated so much time to gently training both of them and just pouring love into them. I can definitely help with training and love working with dogs on walking well on leash. I also really believe in positive reinforcement for your pets - they just want to make us proud. Truly a universal desire. I love long walks with dogs and lots of coregulation calm time. Trust that your babies will be treated like they are family. I am a yoga teacher and teach about 10 classes per week. Other than that I work remotely from my computer, so I can flex my time. I really value a slow paced life, so being able to really take my time and go for walks/hikes, cooking a gourmet dinner at home for myself and cuddling up with a good book. I have always been a very regimented, schedule following pet owner. I think it helps create consistency and eases anxiety for animals. Routines help animals thrive. I think frequent bathroom breaks are important. Long walks early in the day before the world is busy and it gets too hot in the summer are a priority. I also really love snuggling up and just having quiet, calm time with pets. I am happy to follow whatever guidelines/special requests pet parents have. I know how important it is to keep things consistent for pets! There’s never any judgement from me!
