About: Hi! My name is Katie and I have been around animals my entire life. Growing up, we always had cats in the house and when I was 12, I got my first dog. When I was little, I ran a small pet sitting service in my neighborhood and had so much fun taking care of dogs and cats of all sizes. I recently moved to Wichita to attend Wichita State University but I try to visit my furbabies at home as much as possible. My roommate, Jimme, and I love animals and spend as much time with them as we can, whether it's visiting pets we know, spending an afternoon in pet shops, or volunteering for various animal organizations. We are both active people and love going on long walks through our neighborhood. I am a very responsible, attentive sitter and treat every animal in my care as if they were my own. One of my favorite things to do when caring for a pet is to take lots of pictures! You can be sure that I will keep you updated on all the activities we do so you never have to worry about your pet while you are away. You can expect your dog to be spoiled with treats, cuddles, and lots of playtime while visiting! I look forward to meeting you and your pet! I often work remotely here in Wichita, so I am available to care for your pet all day! I am extremely flexible and can usually modify repeat bookings as requested. One of the first things I like to do with the pets in my care is gain their trust by feeding and playing with them. Then, we go on walks around the neighborhood to get some exercise and explore. Dogs are usually ready for a treat and a nap when we get back home so I let them relax before we do it all again!

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life. I grew up with an orange tabby cat who taught me the basics of daily pet care from a young age. In high school, my family adopted a snorkie, and I’ve helped care for him for the past 12 years—everything from daily walks and playtime to grooming and giving medications. I’ve also had my own cat for the past seven years, and through his renal issues I’ve become very familiar with the early signs of urinary blockages, bladder stones, and the importance of special diet management. Because of this, I’m extremely attentive to subtle behavior changes and comfortable supporting pets with chronic or sensitive medical needs. I treat every pet like family, and I’m committed to providing safe, reliable, and compassionate care. I am a medical student who spends several hours a day studying, making my schedule perfect for house sitting and using study breaks to take dogs on walks. I have class every week day from 8-12 so I can do anytime after that. Unfortunately, I am unable to do Thursdays due to long lecture and lab times. When your pet is with me, they’re treated like my own. I’m really big on keeping things safe, calm, and consistent so your pet can settle in and feel comfortable. I pay close attention to routines, behavior, and any little changes—especially since I’m used to managing my own cat’s medical needs. I’m super reliable and I always follow instructions exactly how you give them. You’ll get plenty of updates and photos so you never have to wonder how your pet is doing. Whether it’s sticking to a schedule, handling special diets, or just giving them extra love and attention, I make sure your pet is safe, happy, and well-cared for the entire time.

About: I have taken care of animals my entire life! I love being around dogs and giving them the best life they deserve! I will go above and beyond taking care of your furry friends! Per care would fit perfectly into my late afternoon, going into the evenings. I am a teacher and so summer is fast approaching, opening up my schedule to a full day! I keep a safe, clean, and pet friendly environment at all times. I make sure pets have fresh water, regular potty breaks, exercise, and plenty of attention while following any feeding schedules or care instructions left by the owner. I also monitor pets closely during walks and interactions to ensure their safety, comfort, and well-being in the clients home.

About: I have spent my whole life surrounded by cats and dogs, both my own and others and have an intense passion for caring for animals the right way! I have basic care skills, but can ensure diligence, active and engaging time spent with your animals, timely care, and commitment to following care guidelines to a T. I know what it’s like to leave your animals in the care of someone else. My personal pet sitters are accustomed to abnormally and intensely detailed printed guidelines with care instructions for my animals, so regardless of how detailed your care instructions are, I have the aptitude to follow them in their entirety plus more to the best of my abilities! I am a medical student in my first year, so I do have the ability to have more control of my schedule. I will continually update my time availability to be accurate weekly. I will not commit something that I cannot guarantee availability for! I will only be able to give care in your home due to living in an apartment complex and having animals of my own. But in caring for my own animals, I am quite neurotic in how detailed and specifically I care for them. I make sure my animals have daily mental and exercise stimulation through playing with toys, walking, and engagement with me and each other. I am adamant about giving my animals affection, and provide them meals in a timely and measured way. I brush all of my animals teeth daily, walk my dogs daily, and clean my cats litter box at least twice a day. I am very attuned to subtleties and changes in my animals behavior to ensure that they are in good health! I want to give my animals the best life and care possible just as I will do for your animals!

About: I have experience walking elderly dogs and younger ones. I started walking dogs when I was in middle school, and I absolutely love all dogs and will care for your baby! I have pet sit many cats and love them, and I have experience with smaller animals as well. I work full time M-F 8-4. I am able to check on your pet in the evenings or in the early morning, and on the weekends Given my experience, I am very careful with walking dogs and I am sure to never walk them near a busy road and always look both ways before I cross the street. If caring for your pet at home, I leave things as I found them, clean up after myself and your pet, and treat your area with respect.

About: I have taken care of neighborhood dogs growing up and assist in caring with my family dog. I have 2 indoor cats right now who I adore. I am a student with a very flexible daily and weekly routine. I am able to work around schedules to fit time to care for pets. I have 2 cats at home and they are so spoiled! For your pet I will ensure that I follow all directions you may have for me as well as make sure your pet feels as loved as if they were my own.

About: I’m an experienced pet sitter and dog lover with a calm home environment, perfect for pups who are friendly, well-mannered, and crate-trained. I also have a resident dog and cat, so I prefer guests who are respectful of other dogs’ space and social cues. I enjoy going for walks and providing enrichment, but I’m best suited for dogs who are leash-trained and not overly high energy. Please feel free to message me first so we can see if it’s a good fit! I work full time as a middle school teacher, so I have a very caring heart. I’m available after 3pm most days and anytime on the weekends and during summer (May 25th-August1st). I love walking my dogs and would love to walk yours too. I can work on leash training with your dog, as well as the basics. I can drop in and visit your dog or cat, walk them, feed them, and keep them company for a little while. I make sure that animals are never left unsupervised. Between having multiple family members outing farms, being an assistant for an exotic pet store when I was in high school, and animal sitting and walking over the last 10 years I have created a bond with animals of all types and sizes! I am a stay at home, mom and my child is at school during the day but when she is home, she also loves being around animals and getting to be compassionate and kind towards them! About: I have a huge heart for pets & animals in general - I have been drawn to them since I can remember! Growing up I used to assist our local vet with surgery prep and wound care. I realized I was meant more for the "loving" of animals rather than the "medical care" when vaccinations or other scary things happened - all I could do was comfort the pet! I have cared for almost every kind of pet there is, and I enjoy giving Moms & Dads the peace of mind I know that I need when I am busy or out of town. I work in West Wichita (my office IS pet friendly if your pup has the right temperament) and my hours are Mon-Thurs from 8am-5pm, and Fridays 8am-3pm. This limits my ability for mid-day stop ins during the week, but I am fully available in the mornings, evenings, and all weekend hours. All pet care routines are different! Since the level of care required can vary greatly from family to family, I offer a few different "versions" of each service, and modify my rates according to time/effort committed. Please reach out if you have a hybrid (drop-in/house-sit/boarding) request - if we are a good match I am confident we can find the right arrangement for your pets needs. I recognize that your fluff-butts are part of your family, and pride myself on the ability to make them feel loved and comfortable while in my care. Photos & videos are consistently sent along with scheduled updates - you will NEVER have to wonder if your pet is happy with me! If booking a longer stay, I prefer to iron out all details of your request with an hourly schedule so there is no room for confusion or misunderstanding. It is my first priority to make sure pet parents know that their baby is in the best hands so they can enjoy their time apart.
