About: I've cared for many types of dogs and cats for 20 years, and been around them for longer. I love to give your pet exactly what they need when they are in my care; shy furbabies get lots of patience and space, excited ones will get the opportunity to work out their energy! Every pet is different and they have different routines and behaviors. I spend time getting to know what your pet responds well to in order to provide the best experience for them, including when they have anxiety or an abundance of energy. I have a flexible schedule, so I can dedicate time to pet care across the day and week. I'm home to care for my pets usually and can adapt to a routine for care as needed. I will come to your pet's environment and care for them in your home. I find that pets respond well to a new person when in a familiar place with all their food, toys, treats and smells. I understand the vulnerability of allowing someone into your home, and I conduct myself with integrity to match the trust you extend me. I ask for clear boundaries and communication about the care for your pet and allowed spaces in the home which will allow me to respect your home and private areas. I am comfortable cleaning messes because accidents happen when you combine new people, new routines, and anxiety. About: We are an energetic family that loves dogs and the outdoors! We know how hard it is to leave your pet so we will take care of them and treat them like one of the family. Our house is dog and kid friendly! We have a big fenced in backyard that is perfect for stick chasing, nose sniffing and tail wagging! Regarding Calendar Availability: Email me with your requested dates even if my calendar says I am not available. I may be able to accommodate your pet! We offer 24 hour supervision for your dogs! Kenny is at home during the day while the children and I are at school. In the evening, the kids and I are home with the pups! All of us love animals so you can be assured that your furry friend will receive lots of attention. Our furry family member, Caesar, is 10 years old. Caesar is good tempered and get a long great with other animals and children! We request that all older dogs visiting us are spayed or neutered to help ensure that everyone gets along! If they are puppies, it normally isn't a big deal. Please send me a message to discuss, we can always do a meet n greet to make sure the dogs get along before their stay. I have my dogs on an oral flea treatment. To help keep all dogs flea free, please have your dogs on a flea treatment prior to their stay. We do go outdoors and although I treat our yard in the spring and summer, I can't guarantee there will be no bugs present. We are happy to make your pet feel at home. They can sleep in their bed, crate, or on our bed. We follow the rules that you do at your home! We follow any diet or exercise restrictions. Let us know what is important to you and we will make it happen. Your dog will have plenty of space to run and play. Or they will have plenty of room to lounge around and rest. I will take them on a walk if they aren't as active because of age, weather, or if requested. In the case of a medical emergency, I live two blocks from a great veterinarian office. This limits my ability for mid-day stop ins during the week, but I am fully available in the mornings, evenings, and all weekend hours. All pet care routines are different! Since the level of care required can vary greatly from family to family, I offer a few different "versions" of each service, and modify my rates according to time/effort committed. Please reach out if you have a hybrid (drop-in/house-sit/boarding) request - if we are a good match I am confident we can find the right arrangement for your pets needs. About: I learned everything I know about pet-care at the vet I worked with many years ago. There my love and passion for animal…especially dogs… grew. It was also there that I learned cats are not my favorite. 🥴 Though I learned a lot from my time working at the vet, I realized that seeing animals suffering or in pain was not something I could do on a daily basis. About: I have done rescue work for dogs. I actually have two dogs of my own one. I saved from the Humane Society and one I saved for a rescue who is going to be put to sleep for no reason. I am currently not working so I would be home all of the time with them. They would get all the attention in the world. We have a a fenced in backyard that they would be able to run around in and the cats would be kept inside and fed. What food daily if you please. I am happy to provide walks, give dinners, administer medications, and provide any extra care that may be desired. With my experience working in a dog daycare, I am familiar with all sorts of special needs care for older and disabled dogs. I have a little bit less experience with cats, but I am happy to learn!
