“Sasha was great with my mini Goldendoodle, Archie! She provided constant updates and photos, which really gave me peace of mind while I was away. Archie looked happy and well taken care of the entire time. She was also very flexible when I needed to change the dates, which I really appreciated. I would definitely trust Sasha to watch Archie again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.”

“As soon as we were going out of town we knew right away we wanted our Honey girl to stay with Aurora and her sweet family! Aurora is quick to send updates with pictures and quick to respond. When we go pick up honey from her stay, she is so well taken care of and tired out from a good time. ☺️”

“My husband and I were very impressed with Debbie and her husband. We needed someone to watch her while we went to the state fair. It was late notice but she immediately responded that it would be no problem watching her. Debbie even sent us pics of Zoey saying our dog was doing well. We could tell by how quickly Zoey fell asleep that night that she had a busy fun day.”

“Samantha was so wonderful! She was able to take my two dogs Remy and Piper on short notice I was in town for my son’s wedding and Samantha came to my hotel to meet us and then was able to care for them during all the festivities. She picked them up and also brought them back. She was so loving and kind to them. I just fell in love with her. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Thank you, Samantha, from the bottom of my heart!”

“Dennis took care of our dog, Kuna, for the second time and it was a 10-day stay. He took excellent care of her! It is obvious that she loves to go to his house as she gets excited when she sees us packing her bags to go. He has a great routine for her and takes her on walks. He communicates with us and sends pics and updates while we are gone. I highly recommend him.”

“This was a wonderful experience! My dog, Morgan, is spoiled rotten, and she got the same pampered treatment that she would at home. Meghan also sent me pictures throughout the day the whole time I was gone, so that I could see Morgan playing and having a good time--it definitely put my mind at ease and made it a lot easier to relax, knowing that she was well taken care of! Thank you so much for taking care of my fur-baby so well!”

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in KS ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
