“Amber has been so helpful walking my energetic dog 4x a week! She is reliable and punctual. Thank you, Amber!”

About: Hi! My name is Katie and I have been around animals my entire life. Growing up, we always had cats in the house and when I was 12, I got my first dog. When I was little, I ran a small pet sitting service in my neighborhood and had so much fun taking care of dogs and cats of all sizes. I recently moved to Wichita to attend Wichita State University but I try to visit my furbabies at home as much as possible. My roommate, Jimme, and I love animals and spend as much time with them as we can, whether it's visiting pets we know, spending an afternoon in pet shops, or volunteering for various animal organizations. We are both active people and love going on long walks through our neighborhood. I am a very responsible, attentive sitter and treat every animal in my care as if they were my own. One of my favorite things to do when caring for a pet is to take lots of pictures! You can be sure that I will keep you updated on all the activities we do so you never have to worry about your pet while you are away. You can expect your dog to be spoiled with treats, cuddles, and lots of playtime while visiting! I look forward to meeting you and your pet! I often work remotely here in Wichita, so I am available to care for your pet all day! I am extremely flexible and can usually modify repeat bookings as requested. One of the first things I like to do with the pets in my care is gain their trust by feeding and playing with them. Then, we go on walks around the neighborhood to get some exercise and explore. Dogs are usually ready for a treat and a nap when we get back home so I let them relax before we do it all again!

About: I’ve taken care of pets, especially dogs since my parents brought home my first dog when I was a little kid. I’m used to the responsibility of taking care of animals and making sure they are fed, walked and happy. I’ve also walked looked after dogs for relatives and neighbors who were away since I was a kid. I work from home on the weekdays. I work for myself as well and like to take breaks by walking around my neighborhood so it’s easy for me to find time for your pet. I’m available most the weekend as well unless something unexpected comes up. I have a one room apartment near college hill park, it’s an ideal location for dog walking, as it’s a very safe and walkable neighborhood. Being in a small space makes boarding a little difficult (which is why I charge more for it) but it is doable.

“Jennifer was an excellent dog walker for our beloved husky, Milo. She showed up on time, walked him the agreed amount of time, and sent us report cards and photos of her walks. I would not hesitate to hire her again and highly recommend her services.”

“Anna did a great job with Papí and was very communicative!”

“Nicole was great! She walked my dog over several weeks, was always on time and was great at communicating with me. Thankful for such a positive experience!”

“Larkin can be a little sassy girl and Debby handled her like a champ. She responded quickly and took lots of pictures. Would recommend and use again!”

About: Hi! I’m Camille, a certified vet assistant since May 2023, currently at Wichita State University majoring in Chemistry (Pre-med). I’m Fear Free certified, which means I use gentle techniques to reduce pets’ anxiety and stress during care. I have personal experience with anxious pets—my own dog, Basco, is a great example, and you can see his cute face on my profile! I also have experience with ferrets, cockatiels, and guinea pigs, having grown up with two as pets and from boarding at Boomer on the weekends. I generally have classes from 9 am to 3 pm, but I’m happy to clarify availability when you contact me. I always leave homes clean and follow instructions, no matter how specific. Whether it’s cats, dogs, or even more exotic pets, I’m here to care for your furry friends, including those with more anxious personalities that may take a little more time and patience. I generally have class from 9 am-3 pm during the week, as mentioned in my profile, and I volunteer from 11 am-2 pm on weekends, though I’m flexible with these times. About: I personally own four cats and a dog, in the past i’ve owned two other dogs and cats. I often cat sit for my grandparents. I help out at my local shelters and help care for all kinds of animals. When i was 7 i started walking dogs in my neighborhood and coming by to feed/let dogs and cats out for my neighbors. One of my elderly neighbors needed more help with her pets so i would come over and help bathe them or take care of any other pet needs. I’m currently not working much so i have plenty of time to take care of your animals and meet all their needs! Almost all of my time can go into focusing on your pets. I take the time and patience it needs for every individual animal. I am willing to get up for early walks, potty breaks, or meals and do the same during the night. Making sure your pets normal routine is followed as much as possible, is extremely important to me, so they are as comfortable as possible. Spending time with animals is especially crucial to me, i always make sure there’s time to play or just snuggle. Making sure your animal is comfortable is my top priority so following whatever routine they need is no problem. It will be my prime concern to make sure that your pet is happy and healthy.

“I have known Bailey for almost 10 years and her love of animals of all kinds has certainly been one of her defining characteristics and just a small part of her friendly and caring nature. She has four cats and a senior dog at home, and she makes sure each of them get equal attention, be it affection or play. She has also had her fair share of experience with pilling, changing bandages, bathing/grooming and is fastidious when it comes to keeping litter box areas clean and tidy.”
