Jamie L.

“I was in a pickle when my dog walker was booked for a last minute dog sitting/walk on a day me and my husband both worked. I messaged Jamie the night before and to my relief, she was available! Jamie and her husband, Nick, went above and beyond to make sure my puppy got some good energy out. They are very responsive and professional. You can tell they care a lot for the animals they care for! We will definitely be using them again in the future!”

About: I've taken care of all different kinds of pets throughout my life and each one has left a paw print, or two, on my heart. I'm currently a stay at home mom with a lot of time on my hands. Majority of my weekends are open and I'm available during holidays. I have a decent sized fenced in back yard. Inside my home there are lots of chairs to cuddle up on for a snooze or some pets.

Saihara T.
“She did an amazing job early, prompt, and good with my two dogs! Very responsible as I know my dogs can be a handful she did excellent. I will definitely use her again.”

Sophee C.

“Sophee has been amazing with our pup. She always communicates and updates us on walks and has been available for us last minute! I definitely recommend her to anyone using Rover.”

Stephanie P.

“Stephanie did an amazing job with my fur babies. I came home to happy dogs. Usually when I’m gone they have a little bit of separation anxiety, but not this time. I highly recommend Stephanie and will definitely use her again. Cheryl, Jack? and Stanley ?”

About: Howdy! I’m an animal lover, child welfare employee, and Masters of Social Work student. I have two dogs, an old man cat, and a kitten. I love helping others and building relationships with members of my community, which is why I enjoy pet sitting and dog walking! I have two years of pet care which consists of pet sitting, house sitting, and dog walking. I’ve cared for my old cat for nearly ten years, dogs for nearly three years, and kitten for four months in addition to others pets. I also have lots of experience in caring for dogs with anxiety, too. I am passionate about holding space, respect, and empathy for others- whether they’re human or furry little babes! I work part-time and attend school full-time, stopping by the house to hang out and play with animals or take them for a walk wouldn’t be any conflict in those times as they are super flexible. My job understands that dog sitting and walking are important to me and will help me flip some shifts around to make it happen, if needed! I don’t have a fenced in yard but I take my dogs to a fenced in dog park everyday so they have plenty time to run around and socialize. I’m sure to take extra snacks and water when we go, sometimes they get really tired and those always help. If it’s way too cold to go to the park, because one of them refuses to go out without her coat and boots in that weather, I will make sure to walk them until they let me know they’re done and then we head home to warm up and spend time together.

Kary & Myranda S.

“Kary was very professional, warm, and genuinely seemed to like my dog. My dog liked her, too. She took the time to get to know my dog, and I gave me the confidence she will do a good job.”

Josephine B.
“I always know my dog is in good hands with Josie. My dog is large, high-energy, and intelligent with a hint of separation anxiety all of which makes finding a good pet sitter tricky. On the many occasions when Josie has walked, watched or transported my dog, she has done so with the utmost love and care. She clearly has a knack for caring for pets. My dog is always so happy to see her, and I'm happy knowing that my dog is cared for with the same tender loving care I would give my own pet.”

Amber S.

“Amber was awesome! She took Lilly on walks for me whilst I was at work. I loved all the pictures and updates during the walk. She went above and beyond to care for my senior dog!”

About: I have had dogs, cats, and other pets in my life since I was born, so for me, dogs and cats are easier than people to be around sometimes:) I currently cannot afford my own dog so I must live vicariously through others. The bigger the dog the better, which is unusual but I love big breeds. I still love small breeds and all sizes in-between. I did help my parents raise my French Bulldog so I have some puppy care experience. While I do not have much senior dog care, I do know that they are still a part of your family and I will do my best to learn to treat them just as you would want them treated, if not better. I only have school on Monday and Wednesday and work on Saturday and Sunday. I am a server so I could not really mark that my weekends are partly available but if you are interested in me, I will do my best to accommodate your schedule, whatever it may be. Whether I am coming to your home or you are coming to mine I will be the most professional and respectful person I can be. Being trusted with your dog or cat is like being trusted with your child and I take that responsibility very seriously. If you are dropping your pet off to me, I do live in an apartment that is fairly spacious. I am on the second floor so I do not have a yard but I do have an enclosed balcony for them to get fresh air when I am not walking them outside. If I am coming into your home then I will treat it how I would want my home treated. I will leave it the way I found it and respect the boundaries that you set.

Faith W.
“Faith adores animals. I see her on a regular basis with her dog, and the two could not be closer. His welfare is always her top concern. He's a snuggler, and Faith loves to hold him - and he sleeps with her, even though he's a bed hog. When he's had illnesses and had to take various medicines, she's always there to care for him; from eye drops, to ear drops, liquid oral medicine, given via syringe, and pills. She plans to study to be a veterinarian after high school and is generally, extremely responsible. I would trust her implicitly with any pet care job. ”

Kylie T.
“Kylie is the epitome of a “dog mom”, and just an animal lover, in general! She was raised in a home with multiple dogs and cats through her years at home. Several generations of animal lovers has definitely continued with her and her siblings. She is extremely responsible and would be a great “sitter” to love on your fur babies while you’re not at home!”

Shaunna M.

“Shaunna was awesome with our pup Nala! She came and walked Nala in the middle of the day for us when we were at work. Would definitely recommend for anyone who works and has a young pup that is unable to go to daycare yet!”

Nicole O.

“Nicole is great and Angel loves when she comes to walk her.”

Sydney C.

“Happy Happy with Sydney”

Ari C.
“I'm really glad Ari has given me the opportunity to write her a testimonial, as I'm always telling her that she should have a job involving animals. Throughout the time I've known her, she has consistently shown a serious and wholehearted love for animals of all kinds. Whether it's cute or creepy ("misunderstood" as she calls it), there are few people I'd consider on-par with her in terms of genuine adoration for animals. She's been nothing if not trustworthy and responsible with the animals she owns, and takes better care of them than most people I know would, even when they're tough on her. I recommend her because of her kindness, passion, and complete and utter devotion to the care of pets and animals as a whole.”

Mercedes F.
“Mercedes is a compassionate, loving animal lover. She doesn't just walk the dogs; she plays with them, runs with them, showers attention on them, and genuinely cares for them. She is my go-to for watching our dogs when we are out of town.”

About: To me pets are family and that’s How I will always treat them. Im great with puppies and training them, also with seniors, comfy setting I’m currently self-employed employed and your fur babies will have my full attention 24/7. I’m very flexible and willing to work with you, and I will do my very best to make you and your fur babies comfortable. If you have a list or schedule or anything I have a printer we can print it out or I can write it all down for you, I do whatever you want.

Isabella L.
“We had Isabella watch our Saint Bernard and Chihuahua while we were out of town for a week. Both dogs have extreme separation anxiety and she did a fantastic job with both of them. No issues at all. She is amazing with animals. She is very responsible, compassionate and communicates very well. She would send us pictures and updates to assure us everything was going well with our pups. We will use her time and time again!”
