Availability
I’m currently working as a part time Youth Director at a local church so I have plenty of time throughout my days to play with and care for your furrr babies. My main goal currently is to fill in the gaps of my day to day with joy and happiness that only pets can bring. We all need something to look forward too to make life enjoyable and for me right now that’s figuring out how to play with as many animals as possible to make sure they’re all loved while you’re away.

Safety, trust & environment
Our home has as expansive enclosed back yard for dogs to run around in and play or simply take a potty break. Our living room and kitchen area are great open places for cats to explore and the basement is very clean and comfortable as well. Although, I prefer to go to a cats home instead because as you know being a cat owner most cats dislike change of environments or any change in general for that matter. When it comes to walks I like to take as many precautions as viable. Dog parks are available and accessible more so during the day. There are plenty of nearby parks in my neighbourhood as well as bike paths and sidewalks. I’m open to any suggestions for locations or preferred methods of transportation as some animals dislike car rides so a simple walk around the block would suffice. I take any and all advice seriously when it comes to the attention and care of your animal.
Information Brandon C. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your pet has any special needs/requests in regards to how it receives food, medication, treats, etc. All viable situations recorded in past interactions with strangers is critical in understanding how to approach an animal BEFORE meeting them; not just for my safety but for their comfort and stress free interaction. Do they play bite, nibble via teething, aggressively bite when provoked or unprovoked? There are many situations when a dog is uncomfortable with a certain Gender or ethnicity as well. Please inform me if this is the case as our interaction may not be best suitable for your pets emotional stability. I am a male of Hispanic decent although I don’t speak Spanish and I prefer pizza or a good BBQ over tacos lol it’s vital that your pet is ok with those specs, again for their comfort. And last but not least; any medical information, preferred veterinary care facility, preferred dog park, bike path, trail, etc. Any little detail that can better help me understand your pet I humbly request to be written out or sent via message in list form as to refrain from bothering you on your time away.
A typical day
I personally enjoy training pets to do certain tricks for their owners if they don’t already have them initiated. For example: sit, lay down, paw, etc. If your pet has a favorite toy or activity I like to utilized what works for your pet and actively witness personal interaction with their owner to see what’s most effective in their personal engagement. Some animals don’t take well to strangers so seeing this behavior with the owner is very helpful. Depending on the type of environment your pet is living in compared to where it is allowed to explore and play I can better determine what type of play style will work best and what they’re comfortable with when engaging a stranger. Although, once familiarized with a pet they usually recognise me and welcome me as a companion and a friend which is when they form a wonderful bond.

loving animals is my part time job!
Pet care experience
I’m exceptional in training puppies, cats and dogs. If necessary I can discipline although I prefer positive encouragement towards good behaviour with rewards. I love teaching commands using an animals favourite treat or a clicker, whichever is more effective. When it comes to older animals it’s critical for me to be aware of and understand their history. Dietary restrictions, sleeping/eating habits, medication and application processes, etc. I love all animals but ultimately will treat them as family with the love and support they each deserve.

Reviews

Brandon worked hard to care for my dogs. He is sweet and kind person who cares about the dogs. And trustworthy in your home. I will certainly plan on using him again it’s always easier when they know the dogs awhile.

I am so grateful for Brandon. It gives me such peace of mind knowing that my little dude is in good hands while I’m at work.

Brandon is AMAZING! I am grateful that Charlie has someone to hang out with while I’m at work!
I wholeheartedly recommend Brandon as a compassionate, responsible, and trustworthy pet caregiver. I’ve watched him care for both cats and dogs with patience, attentiveness, and joy in their company. He goes above and beyond, whether it’s playing, meeting their needs, or ensuring their safety. I was especially impressed once a few years back when he dedicated days to locating and returning a lost dog to its grateful owner. Brandon has a natural bond with animals, treats them like family, and provides dependable, loving care that gives true peace of mind. Any pet would be lucky to have him.
