“Becky has now helped out while I was on vacation and a few times when my dog needed to be walked while I was at work and I’ve been so happy with the help she has provided! She has always been quick to respond, I get updates and photos of my dog on his walks, and she has been flexible with schedule changes on the fly.”

About: I’ve been taking care of animals for over 10 years now! I’ve taken care of both Dogs and cats of all sizes! I’ve been dog sitting for years and I have been working at Sydney’s pet resort as a supervisor for 4 years now! I have experience giving all animals medication and will help animals with any medical issues they may have! I have experience working with puppies and senior dogs, as well as kittens and senior cats! I currently work Tuesday through Saturdays but I will work around my schedule to make sure I find time to care for your pets! I am typically free all day on Sundays and Mondays! I am currently not watching any animals in my own home but I am able to watch them in the comfort of their own home!
“Kylie was so great with our 2 dogs, who have just moved to Wichita with us and are acclimating. She was punctual daily and the dogs had a great time with her for the first week of walks.”

About: For over 10 years, I loved and cared for my own beloved dogs before they passed away a few years ago, and for the past 4 years, I have been occasionally sitting for my neighbor's dog. I have a 6-year-old daughter and a 7-year-old son who share my deep love for animals, so your pup will get plenty of gentle affection and enthusiastic playtime from our family! In our home, your fur baby will have a secure, fenced yard to explore. Whether they prefer high-energy fun or just lounging around and getting belly rubs, we adapt to whatever makes your dog feel safest and most comfortable. I am a Special Education teacher currently on summer break, which means I have a highly flexible schedule and open availability! My own children are in summer camp Monday through Friday during the day, giving me plenty of dedicated, uninterrupted time to focus entirely on your pet's routine, walks, and care. I am available for boarding and daytime companionship, ensuring your fur baby gets plenty of attention and love. As a SPED teacher, I bring patience, structure, and deep reliability into my pet care. I offer a very secure environment with a fully fenced yard for safe playtime. Because my husband works night shifts and sleeps during the day, our home maintains a wonderfully calm, quiet, and peaceful atmosphere during the daytime hours—perfect for dogs who get stressed by loud noises. In the evenings and weekends, my 6 and 7-year-old children join the fun, and they are incredibly gentle and respectful animal lovers. Your pet will receive 100% of our family's care and focus!
About: I have cared for both small and large breed dogs. 1 dog in my care required medication 2 a day. I have not met a dog that didn’t like me. I am retired from the main stream work force and have plenty of time to devote to your fur babies. My schedule is flexible for day visits or extended periods. I am able to stay with your fur babies in your home. I believe this keeps the animal safe and secure without the additional stress of their parents leaving them.
About: I’ve been a dog owner since I was born. Since 2019 I’ve taken care of dogs of all kinds- big, small, puppy, senior and special needs. I’ve volunteered for the Humane Society and fostered through WAAL. My family has had 3 foster fails! I am a natural caretaker when it comes to animals and guarantee I will treat your pet as my own. I am a cautious pet owner who does well at reading the signals of an animals and anticipating their behavior and needs. I do not work in the summers, so I can care for pets full time. From May to August, I’m free all day every day, most days. From August to May, I work 8-4 on weekdays. I live in an apartment so sadly I cannot offer boarding at this time. My partner is available to watch our dogs while I watch yours at your home.
About: Hi! I’m Allie. I’ve owned and cared for dogs and cats my entire life (over 10+ years of hands-on experience with everything from energetic puppies to senior pets). On top of a lifetime of personal pet ownership, I worked professionally as a veterinary assistant for 3 years. Beyond clinical experience, I'm an active-duty Air Force service member, so reliability, discipline, and attention to detail are second nature to me. Whether your pet needs high-energy play, structured care, or a gentle touch, they will be in safe, highly trained hands. Having worked in a vet clinic, I am comfortable and confident handling: -Puppies and kittens (routine setup, basic training support, energy outlets) -Senior pets and animals with special health or mobility needs -Oral/topical medication administration (if applicable) -Spotting signs of anxiety, distress, or health changes early What You Can Expect: Clear & Frequent Communication: Regular photo and text updates so you never have to wonder how your pet is doing. Respect & Security: Total respect for your home, schedule, and specific instructions. Tailored Care: Daily routines built entirely around your pet's comfort level and regular feeding/walk schedules. I look forward to meeting you and giving your fur babies five-star care while you're away! I am active-duty military with a consistent schedule (Mon–Fri, 0700–1630). House Sitting / Overnights: Fully available! I stay at your home in the evenings, overnight, and early mornings, plus full weekend care. Mid-Day Potty Breaks: For clients located within 10–15 minutes of base, I can pop over during my lunch break for a quick walk or potty break. Weekends & Evenings: Fully open after 16:30 on weekdays and completely flexible all day Saturday and Sunday. As a former veterinary assistant, safety is my top priority. I am trained to handle emergencies, manage feeding routines, and administer oral or topical medications. When house sitting or dropping in, I keep your home secure, clean, and quiet. I always double-check leashes, harnesses, and yard gates before letting pets outside. You can expect regular text and photo updates during every stay so you know your pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for!
About: I have always been a dog lover, and I love meeting new pooches! I have sat for many dogs over the years, and have recently trained my own service dog named Dolly Parton. She is my best friend and can meet your dog- or not- we're flexible! I work full time days, but my evenings and weekends are typically free for pet care. If needed I can also take an extended lunch break to check on your pet. I am available to play with your pet at your place or a park if they are up for a drive. I am very active, so if your dog wants to go for a walk or a run, I'm ready to work up a sweat!
About: Hi! I’m Shane. I’ve spent years working professionally with dogs, first as an Animal Care Technician at a local humane society and later as a dog trainer. Along the way I’ve worked with everything from playful puppies to senior dogs, shy rescues, high-energy dogs, and dogs that need a little extra patience and understanding. I know every dog is different, so I take the time to get to know their personality, routine, and what helps them feel safe and comfortable. Whether it’s a walk around the neighborhood, a drop-in visit, or staying with them while you’re away, my goal is to give them the same care and attention I’d want someone to give my own pets. I believe dogs do best when they’re treated with patience, consistency, and kindness, and that’s exactly what you can expect from me. I look forward to meeting you and your four-legged family member! As a disabled Air Force veteran, I’ve built my life around caring for animals. Every morning starts with my own dogs, with a walk, plenty of sniff time, training, and breakfast before I begin caring for my clients’ pets. Because pet care is my full-time focus, I schedule each day to give every animal the time and attention they deserve. I don’t rush visits or treat pets like appointments on a checklist. Every dog and cat is cared for like a member of my own extended family. Every pet is different, so I tailor my care to their personality, age, energy level, and routine. Before care begins, I take the time to learn each pet’s schedule, feeding routine, medications, favorite activities, and any behavioral or medical needs. During every walk, drop-in visit, or house sitting stay, I focus on more than just the basics. Fresh food and water, potty breaks or litter box cleaning, exercise, enrichment, playtime, affection (on their terms), and careful observation are all part of my routine. For dogs, that may include walks, sniff time, games, or short training sessions. For cats, it may mean interactive play, brushing, or simply providing calm companionship if they’re shy or prefer a quieter approach. When caring for pets in your home, I treat both your pets and your home with the same respect I would my own. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, keep things tidy, bring in mail or packages if requested, and help maintain your pet’s normal routine to reduce stress while you’re away. You’ll also receive regular photo and text updates so you always know how your pets are doing. I don’t believe in simply checking a box and leaving. I believe in building trust with every animal I care for, providing companionship, enrichment, and dependable care so you can have complete peace of mind while you’re away.
“Holly came to our home and did a drop in/walk hour visit. Communication with her was great as we had very specific instructions for our puppy! She sent photos and overall did an amazing job”

“Jennifer was an excellent dog walker for our beloved husky, Milo. She showed up on time, walked him the agreed amount of time, and sent us report cards and photos of her walks. I would not hesitate to hire her again and highly recommend her services.”

About: I have worked in the animal care industry for over 15 years as a veterinary assistant, kennel attendant, dog trainer, boarding facility manager, and even managed a few dog and exotic animal rescues. Currently my happy bunch of animals include horses, cats, bearded dragon, fish, snails, and a dog. My experience really sets me apart from other sitters being that I am able to handle any size, breed, or type of animals you may have with the ability to care for them like my own. House sitting, dog walking, and drop in visits are my preferred type of jobs to take on. I am able to be very flexible with daily visits as I work part time so normally 3 drop ins per day can be custom to your pets wants or needs. Please don’t hesitate to ask me questions I am almost always available to chat. Thank you! Working part time 11:30am-4:30pm weekdays so my schedule is flexible and easy to work around. Drop in visits are usually 5-7am mid-day visits are 10:30-11 and the evening is dependent on your pets needs and can be anytime after 4:30. If you want to skip midday and do two visits in the evening that is fine by me. Let me know your schedule and I will do my best to fit around it. This way we don’t upset your pets routine too terribly while you are away. I do not offer boarding in my own home of any kind. I am 100% mobile and come to you to provide your pets care. Keys, codes, and other home access needed, these things would be gone over in person.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
