Dog Walking in Derby

About: I worked at a boarding kennel for about a year (Andover boarding kennel) and since then I have been watching dogs, cats, birds etc ever since. It is a passion to work with animals and help people give their fur babies attention when their schedules don’t allow for it as often as they’d like to. I currently work for Derby Police Department and treat everyone’s fur babies as my own while they stay with me. I give my undivided attention to each and every pet as well as getting them worn out from all of the playing. If the owners will allow it, my dogs and cats are very sweet and love to play with other dogs so there are opportunities for socializing as well! You’ll always get updates through pictures during their stay with me as well as some extra spoiling. I work Monday through Friday 0800-1700, but I still ensure lots of play time and socializing happens during their stay! I also work training into their stay if there are any bad habits families would like their babies to stay away from or commands they'd like them to become more familiar with. This is done through positive reinforcement with treats and lots of praise. I have a specific room for the dogs to be crated. It’s climate controlled, a quiet location so they can feel comfortable and not at all anxious. Dogs and cats do not have access to any toxic chemicals or things that would harm them. Treats, food and toys are always approved by the owner so they know what their fur babies are ingesting and/or playing with.

About: "I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 10. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets..i have experience with disabled animals as well. I work for the school district and home early daily. If I'm not home my mother is. We also are able to schedule around each other if needed so that somebody is always home. Fenced in yard over a half acres. I'm typically outside in the backyard with the dogs working on my flower gardens, during the summer I have dog pools, play ball and just love being with my four-legged friends.

About: I grew up taking care of dogs and have two of my own. Looking for opportunities to help others care for their animals as I have benefitted from this service in the past. I’m available on weekends to help with check ins, dog walking, or overnight stays. I’m happy to come to your home if it is more convenient for your pet. I have a fenced yard and a downstairs area for dogs to play. Also, two kiddos who love animals and always enjoy making new animal friends.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old. Family, friends, and neighbors have trusted me with their pets to feed, walk, and give them comfort. I’ve had dogs around all my life. I am currently employed part time, a college student, looking for some extra cash so my availability is very open! Weekdays work best for me after 5 pm! I have a fenced yard with 2 very friendly dogs. Water is easily accessible for the dogs as well. I am able to separate my dog from your dog if needed!

About: I personally have grown up taking care of all kinds of pets. I also completely understand the importance of taking care of others animals like they are my own. I personally think it will fit in perfectly. I have a dog as well of my own that keeps me on my toes with his routine so to take care of yours will be no problem. I do have a job that I attend but can still provide care and potty breaks in between. I currently have a fenced yard. As well as I do have a dog that is 2 that would love a companion to play with.

I have had several clients who have used me repeatedly. I create meaningful bonds with the animals I take care of and ensure they feel safe and comfortable. I’m also a wonderful communicator who loves sending photos of your furry friend! I’m a full time student at WSU, but my schedule is flexible enough to where I can spend meaningful hours with your pet! I do not mind commuting back and forth. I unfortunately do not take pets to my house since I live in a dorm. Although, it will be no problem for me to commute back and forth.

About: Hey There! I have experience rescuing and caring for animals for over 20 years. I’m also raising 3 animal lovers! We homeschool and are home and available to be with your pets all day! We have a large fenced in back yard and large home where your pet can have free rein, whether they like personal space or a snuggle on the couch! We have one kitten we rescued and nursed back to health from the street as a newborn and two sweet doggies! They love friends! We are homeschoolers and I don’t work. My older children and I have full availability to be at home with your pets during the day as they stay with us! I have a large fenced yard, 2 dogs and 1 cat to keep your animals company! They’re welcome inside or out, snuggled up with us or kenneled if you prefer!

About: I fell in love with dogs at 6 years old when we adopted a Cocker Spaniel, Heidi. When I graduated from KU I was finally able to adopt my own, Lola. When I met my boys’ dad he had a German Shepherd mix that was the absolute best. We lost her in 2020. She needed medication twice a day and had seizures, so I’m comfortable with special needs. I miss having pups in our home and have fostered since. I’d love to adopt again, but right now I’m enjoying taking care of fur babies for others. I stay at home with my boys (ages 5 and 7). They are also dog lovers and know that we treat animals with love and respect. Caring for pups brings us so much joy. About: Hello all! I have been an avid animal lover since i could speak. I completed veterinary technician school so i can handle pretty much anything thrown my way whether its special meds or extra walks. I am also currently starting my pre reqs for my DVM degree. I have owned animals my entire life, rescued the rough around the edges guys, & dedicated my entire being to animals & what i can do for them. I dog sit, groom, medicate, etc. for friends and family. I am open to training during sessions, weight loss assistance, grooming, & most any request. I have toys, treats, blankets, etc on hand for any needs. I am ready & excited to start this journey with y'all & am open for any questions or concerns you may have! I am self employed & work for my moms estate sales company so my schedule is flexible & I am able to provide 24 hour care as needed for pets & even can take them to work with me most days if it’s something they may enjoy or need emotionally or mentally while missing home. Your pets are my pets. They will feel like nothing has changed and they are just kicking it with their people. I can provide food toy & medical restrictions as well as medication administration. Health is number one & I focus on that primarily with all animals.

About: I’ve had a dog all growing up and want to take care of yours as if they’re my own. No matter the size, I want to be the best sitter I can be for them and for you! I’m available mornings, lunch and evenings to make sure your dog is well taken care of while you’re gone. I have lots of free time to make sure they are loved and taken care of! About: Well rounded pet care taker/sitter. Experience caring for animals such as dogs to horses. Many years of house, pet, and property sitting. More than willing to work requests or specific tasks that your companion may need or is a part of their schedule. I am available to care for your pet(s) anytime between 6:00 am - 11:00 pm any day of the week that are available on my Rover Schedule. Please let me know if there is anything more I could do for you and your companion(s). Allowing your pet(s) to adjust to a new environment (or person) is very important. At this time I am not providing daycare or boarding. As a standard, I expect to be able to walk your companion(s) around their own neighborhood or environment that they are comfortable with. If I were to pet sit in a client’s home the utmost respect for property and privacy would be carried out. I would request specific instructions to where I am to be in the home at all times. All services would still be carried out to the same standards. Currently, I do not stay overnight while house or dog sitting.

About: Growing up on an acreage, I adore animals and thoroughly enjoy the company and unique personalities they provide. I would love to offer the peace of mind I crave when going to work and thinking about my dog at home who I know would enjoy some activity. Being in the military I sometimes work odd hours, but feel free to make a request and I will let you know if I can make it work. Walking has become one of my favorite things to do here, and the gravel roads and paths surrounding Derby provide endless routes and adventures. I can do pickup and drop-off and would love to walk around with your pup. If you work long hours, I can also stop by and let your dog out for a bathroom/play break if needed.

About: I love working with dogs and I have worked in humane society all though out my high school career. I have also always had a pet since I can remember I am a teacher, so I currently have all summer off. have a lot of time hanging out and taking your dogs out and play with your dogs! I always make sure my animals have access to water and have time to use their energy and also socialize. These are very important for the health and wellbeing of a pet.
