Dog Walking Derby

About: I worked at a boarding kennel for about a year (Andover boarding kennel) and since then I have been watching dogs, cats, birds etc ever since. It is a passion to work with animals and help people give their fur babies attention when their schedules don’t allow for it as often as they’d like to. I currently work for Derby Police Department and treat everyone’s fur babies as my own while they stay with me. I give my undivided attention to each and every pet as well as getting them worn out from all of the playing. If the owners will allow it, my dogs and cats are very sweet and love to play with other dogs so there are opportunities for socializing as well! You’ll always get updates through pictures during their stay with me as well as some extra spoiling. I work Monday through Friday 0800-1700, but I still ensure lots of play time and socializing happens during their stay! I also work training into their stay if there are any bad habits families would like their babies to stay away from or commands they'd like them to become more familiar with. This is done through positive reinforcement with treats and lots of praise. I have a specific room for the dogs to be crated. It’s climate controlled, a quiet location so they can feel comfortable and not at all anxious. Dogs and cats do not have access to any toxic chemicals or things that would harm them. Treats, food and toys are always approved by the owner so they know what their fur babies are ingesting and/or playing with.

About: For over 10 years, I loved and cared for my own beloved dogs before they passed away a few years ago, and for the past 4 years, I have been occasionally sitting for my neighbor's dog. I have a 6-year-old daughter and a 7-year-old son who share my deep love for animals, so your pup will get plenty of gentle affection and enthusiastic playtime from our family! In our home, your fur baby will have a secure, fenced yard to explore. Whether they prefer high-energy fun or just lounging around and getting belly rubs, we adapt to whatever makes your dog feel safest and most comfortable. I am a Special Education teacher currently on summer break, which means I have a highly flexible schedule and open availability! My own children are in summer camp Monday through Friday during the day, giving me plenty of dedicated, uninterrupted time to focus entirely on your pet's routine, walks, and care. I am available for boarding and daytime companionship, ensuring your fur baby gets plenty of attention and love. As a SPED teacher, I bring patience, structure, and deep reliability into my pet care. I offer a very secure environment with a fully fenced yard for safe playtime. Because my husband works night shifts and sleeps during the day, our home maintains a wonderfully calm, quiet, and peaceful atmosphere during the daytime hours—perfect for dogs who get stressed by loud noises. In the evenings and weekends, my 6 and 7-year-old children join the fun, and they are incredibly gentle and respectful animal lovers. Your pet will receive 100% of our family's care and focus!

About: "I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 10. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets..i have experience with disabled animals as well. I work for the school district and home early daily. If I'm not home my mother is. We also are able to schedule around each other if needed so that somebody is always home. Fenced in yard over a half acres. I'm typically outside in the backyard with the dogs working on my flower gardens, during the summer I have dog pools, play ball and just love being with my four-legged friends.

About: This is the first time I have been on rover but I have pet sit for others in my past (about a year and a half ago) for over 20 dogs and I have never received a complaint. I love animals and I believe that they feel emotions to and get lonely when their family has to go places without them so I try to treat all of them with genuine care. I am currently working part time so I will have to be flexible with my schedule but I mostly work mornings (10am-2pm) other than that I am free and open to your needs I don’t have a big open house or a fenced in yard so I won’t be providing this service, thank you for understanding.

About: I personally have grown up taking care of all kinds of pets. I also completely understand the importance of taking care of others animals like they are my own. I personally think it will fit in perfectly. I have a dog as well of my own that keeps me on my toes with his routine so to take care of yours will be no problem. I do have a job that I attend but can still provide care and potty breaks in between. I currently have a fenced yard. As well as I do have a dog that is 2 that would love a companion to play with.

About: I am training to be a dog trainer so I could help train you dogs/cats. I don't have any dogs of my own right now but I would love to help others people and their pets. I would love to take care of pets. I will only stay at your house with your pet if you need me to or would like me to. I can walk them as long as it isn't too hot or too cold for them. When pet sitting I could help teach you pets how to do new tricks.

About: I love working with dogs and I have worked in humane society all though out my high school career. I have also always had a pet since I can remember I am a teacher, so I currently have all summer off. have a lot of time hanging out and taking your dogs out and play with your dogs! I always make sure my animals have access to water and have time to use their energy and also socialize. These are very important for the health and wellbeing of a pet.

About: I fell in love with dogs at 6 years old when we adopted a Cocker Spaniel, Heidi. After graduating from KU I was finally able to adopt my own, Lola. Since our German Shepherd Kylee passed in 2020 we have especially enjoyed caring for fur babies in our home. My sons are 8 and 10 and are, of course, also huge animal lovers. I’d love to adopt again, but right now we are soaking up all the cuddles from new and returning furry friends. Caring for pups brings us so much joy. I am currently employed part time, a college student, looking for some extra cash so my availability is very open! Weekdays work best for me after 5 pm! I have a fenced yard with 2 very friendly dogs. Water is easily accessible for the dogs as well. I am able to separate my dog from your dog if needed!

About: Well rounded pet care taker/sitter. Experience caring for animals such as dogs to horses. Many years of house, pet, and property sitting. More than willing to work requests or specific tasks that your companion may need or is a part of their schedule. About: Hey There! I have experience rescuing and caring for animals for over 20 years. I’m also raising 3 animal lovers! We homeschool and are home and available to be with your pets all day! We have a large fenced in back yard and large home where your pet can have free rein, whether they like personal space or a snuggle on the couch! We have one kitten we rescued and nursed back to health from the street as a newborn and two sweet doggies! They love friends! We are homeschoolers and I don’t work. My older children and I have full availability to be at home with your pets during the day as they stay with us! I have a large fenced yard, 2 dogs and 1 cat to keep your animals company! They’re welcome inside or out, snuggled up with us or kenneled if you prefer!

About: I’ve been taking care of animals for over 10 years now! I’ve taken care of both Dogs and cats of all sizes! I’ve been dog sitting for years and I have been working at Sydney’s pet resort as a supervisor for 4 years now! I have experience giving all animals medication and will help animals with any medical issues they may have! I have experience working with puppies and senior dogs, as well as kittens and senior cats! I currently work Tuesday through Saturdays but I will work around my schedule to make sure I find time to care for your pets! I am typically free all day on Sundays and Mondays! I am currently not watching any animals in my own home but I am able to watch them in the comfort of their own home!
