About: I grew up with pets in the house since the age of 5. I also began pet-sitting for family and friends through past 8 years. I just graduated with my Masters degree and in the process of finding a new career which leaves me the flexibility to care for pets. The safety of pets are of upmost importance. I leave in a very pet friendly environment and leave next to a dog park so your dog has lots of area to play.

“I can't praise this person enough! She literally found my dog, who mistakenly got out of the house! I seriously thank God she was there for my dog.”

About: Over the years I have owned and taken care of many of my neighbors pets. I have really come to live it and decided to go full time as a pet sitter. I have an mostly open schedule always free during the weekdays and most times during the weekends including some holidays. Feel free to message me for more details. I always make sure to keep the pets safe in a respectful warm manner when they are with me. I always try to read the body language to see what the animal needs. I love to do the standard playing with toys and always bring a smile to keep a positive vibe.

About: Some people call me DogDude. I've loved and rescued dogs my entire life. Thus far I've rescued over twenty, and I had nine at the most at one time. I even had two beds pushed together so all nine could sleep with me. It was furry and chaotically wonderful. Seven of those original are gone, and I miss those days. I've worked with puppies, and one rescue was even pregnant. I saw her through the pregnancy and adopted all the pups except the one I kept. I've also worked with and rescued seniors. I lived in Puerto Rico for three years, and I rescued two there and flew them back when returning to the states. I adopted a sweet old Cocker Spaniel from a program in Michigan. Her owner had been murdered by her ex-husband in Detroit. I could go on, but suffice it to say, most of my rescues have interesting stories. My most recent came from a ditch in Tennessee. It would be a pleasure to work with you and your pet(s). I'm an avid hiker with a membership to Eagle Creek. I've taken dogs out hiking with me and living doing so, if clients are comfortable with that. My availability varies, as I also own and operate a small business I operate from home and work at a brewery. I'm very flexible, though, and will work and communicate with clients to the best of my ability. At this time, I do not offer in-home pet care at my home. I'm only available for taking care of pets in your home. Thank you.

“Samantha was amazing with our two pups! She followed all of our instructions, was on time, and even left us a sweet note with pictures and dog treats. We loved having her and I know the dogs did too, and will definitely use her help again!”

About: My husband and I have a long history with dogs - and we currently have two Golden Retrievers aged 6 and 5! Zeke and Toby are friendly, ornery, and love new friends! Both are neutered, and Zeke is crated while sleeping and when we are gone. We have had various friends and family dogs come stay with us, including a Great Dane! Therefore, we are we well versed in large or small breed needs. I grew up with a dog that had both diabetes and Cushing's disease and am well versed in providing insulin injections if required. I currently work full-time partially from home with various days I must leave. I am gone no more than 5 hours at a time, and that is typically only on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. I am typically home full time on Mondays and Fridays. We have a large fenced in yard with lots of running area and lots of neighbor dogs. Our pups are allowed on all furniture and beds. Zeke is a true retriever and LOVES to eat anything and everything - so we actively ensure there are no open doors, trash cans, or small items that can be eaten or swallowed. Zeke is crated and we are able to crate a dog as needed.

I work from home so I am able to adjust my schedule accordingly to what your pet needs may be. This includes early mornings as well. I will ensure that your pet always has enough food and water if that is your preference. Picture proof of let outs/walks will always be included each time.

“Super friendly and reliable. She did great with our 🦮”

About: I have over 2.5 years of professional pet care experience at a busy boarding facility, in which I took care of dogs and cats, plus extensive personal experience caring for dogs, cats, and rabbits. Not only that, but I have a special interest in canine ethology, which carries over into my everyday life. Currently, I have two rabbits and have raised seven kits (baby rabbits) myself, along with caring for a total of nine rabbits over time, all now happily homed! I’ve also grown up with and raised a variety of dog breeds in my 21 years of life —from an 180 lb European Great Dane and another Great Dane rescue, to two Cocker Spaniels, an Irish Water Spaniel, and a Cavalier Spaniel. Right now, I share my home with a Great Dane named "Bmo" and an Irish Water Spaniel named "Butter" alongside my two bunnies, who were mentioned previously. We are definitely a Spaniel and Great Dane home if you can tell :). This hands-on experience gives me a deep understanding of different temperaments, needs, care routines, handling, and training. Although I have not had the honor of raising cats in my home, or growing up with them side by side -- I do have personal experience in caring for neighbors cats', as well as my professional experience in caring for cats at a boarding facility, here in Indiana. I’m comfortable administering medication, managing feeding schedules, and adapting to each pet’s personality. What sets me apart is my genuine passion, patience, and commitment to making every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Pet care is a natural part of my daily life. I’m currently available full-time, as I have parted with my commercial pet boarding job to focus on 1 on 1 care... which means I can offer flexible scheduling, whether you need early morning visits, midday check-ins, or evening cuddles! I’m used to the rhythms of feeding, walks, litter box cleaning, playtime, and giving pets the attention they deserve on their schedule, not mine. I prioritize safety and comfort above all. Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, I create a calm, secure environment tailored to each pet’s needs. Please feel free to "info dump" on me, as I closely follow your instructions for feeding, exercise, and medication, and I’m always attentive to changes in behavior or health. In my home, pets have a clean, quiet space with plenty of fresh water, toys, and cozy spots to relax. When I visit your home, I treat it with respect, leaving everything exactly as I found it while ensuring your pet feels safe and loved. Building trust with both pets and their owners is my top priority—so you can relax knowing your furry family member is in caring, capable hands.
