About: I started taking care of neighbors' and friends' dogs, cats, fish, hamsters and birds when I was 14 years old. I love animals and wildlife of all kinds. I have been a cat and dog mom for 28 years and have had 2 leash and dog-reactive dogs (strong, 60 pound+ mutt and pit bull) so I am experienced in dealing with these situations. I have strong situational awareness with my head on a swivel when walking dogs. My senior kitty required specialized medical care at the end of her life with daily prescription medication and subcutaneous fluids. I have volunteered as a dog walker and cat snuggler at Friends of Homeless Animals rescue. I have been a social worker for 30 years and am nearing retirement from full-time employment. I would love to use my love of animals to continue working as a pet-sitter and dog walker. I am very organized, detail-oriented and will care for your pet as I care for my own. I would love to meet you and your pets to see how I can be of service. I am semi-retired after working for 30+ years in the Human Services field. My weekends are currently free. I have some flexibility in my weekday schedule so I may be available on a case-by-case basis for weekday dog walks and pet drop-in visits that are in western Loudoun County and within a 10 minute drive of my home. I will care for your pet in your home so that they will be the most comfortable. I am available for overnight stays to keep your pet company and to provide close supervision, lots of TLC, food, water, potty breaks and anything else you may need. I am a non-smoker and non-drinker. I am very detail-oriented, responsible and dependable. As a bit of an overprotective dog mom, I have needed to entrust my dog's care to a pet sitter. My dog is my world. So I know just how valuable trust, dependability and attention to detail are. What matters to you matters to me. I will follow your instructions down to the smallest detail. I will be diligent in communicating with you, sending regular updates and photos of your pet so that you know they are safe and happy in my care.

About: My family has raised goats and chickens since I was around 10, and have had dogs and cats for as long as I can remember! I've grown up around animals my whole life and I am accustomed to caring for goats, chickens, dogs, and cats! I'm currently home in Northern Virginia from college for the summer, so I have plenty of time to play with and care for all of your animals!! I have a fenced in yard for dogs as well as plenty of space to take them for walks! As well, I have litter boxes/safety measures set up for my 4 cats. I have 8 goats and 13 chickens so I'm used to making sure the outdoor animals are safe from predators and locked safely into their houses at night.

About: I’ve cared for animals my whole life and have years of experience as a veterinary assistant and shelter aide. From giving medications to walking dogs of any size, I’m comfortable with it all. I’m especially patient with shy or skittish dogs and always help ensure they feel safe and loved. I'm also a distance runner with lots of experience running dogs, so if you have a high-energy pup that needs a good jog, I'd be more than happy to do that!! I'm entirely self-employed, so my schedule is quite flexible! I’m happy to adjust my schedule when needed to make sure your pets get the care and attention they deserve :) When I visit your home, I treat your pets and space with the same respect I’d want for my own. I make sure doors and gates are secure, follow all care instructions closely, and keep a careful eye on your fur baby during walks or visits. Their safety and comfort always come first, and I do my best to keep their routine familiar so they feel at ease while you’re away.

About: I have 7 pets and I love each of them so dearly and I would love to spread my love to your animal! It’s incredibly important to me that your pet feels safe and loved. Typically, my pet care usually takes place in the afternoons or evening. However, I always like to keep a flexible schedule so I can make it work for your furry friend! I ensure that all pets have used the bathroom, ate an appropriate amount of food and have plenty of comfortable sleeping areas while also keeping away dangerous foods or objects.

About: Have only had 9 months total of my life without a dog or a pack of them by my side. Your fur baby will be fostered as one of my own; their walk, run, or potty break is all about them! With guidance from you, we will move at their pace. If they want to go for a run... then we run! If they prefer to walk tree to tree and smell every flower, that's fine too! I am available early mornings and mid-days during the week. I also have availability nightly to check on the pups and make sure they're ready for bed. I look forward to meeting the needs of your family, if it be walking or running the dogs, or making sure they are comfortable in your home, just let me know. I am fortunate enough to have a remote role, so my schedule is usually set to my own dog's needs. I am by no means a gym rat or a marathon runner. Yet that doesn't stop me from getting in usually 2-6 miles a day, both walking and running. While my dog is crate trained, it would be great if yours is as well, for those few errands that may take me away for up to 4 hours at a time (a busy week would be 3 half days in the office)

About: I have 7 dogs at my house and been around animals my whole life we have 3 cats as well and chickens! I love taking cares of any time of animal you just need teach me! I am available anytime in the afternoons ranging from 12:30pm-9pm. From the time I wake up to the time I go to bed I usually am taking care of my animals but I can always fit in time for yours too! I will offer to feed your pets, buy treats, little bit of exercise and playing, I will make sure they have everything they need and make sure they don’t get into any trouble the best of my ability. And I always make sure my dogs play nice at home we do have two boys who fight but they are separated and live happily in their own worlds lol.

About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats my whole life. I currently have three Portuguese Water Dogs. I train and handle them in multiple dog sports such as agility and dock diving. I am semi retired after selling my business a year ago. Not one to sit still for too long, I think pet caregiving is a great avenue to channel my energy. My schedule is very flexible so I can work this in. I am very safety conscious. At my home we have a fully fenced yard. When out walking, I am always aware of surroundings and what might trigger a pet. I aim to be proactive and in control at all times

About: Hi! My name is Laura and I am a recent graduate from Virginia Tech. I have had a life-long passion for taking care of animals and hope to care for yours. Throughout my life I have cared for dogs, cats, reptiles, small mammals, horses, cows, pigs, chickens, and much more! I love all animals, big and small, and am able to watch over your household pets and/or any farm pets. I have had dogs my entire life, currently a proud pup owner of my hyper, loving golden retriever, and I know all the ins and outs of canine care. I provide play-time, grooming, walks/dog park visits, food/water cleaning and replenishment, medical aid, and so much more for your pup(s). I have training experience with puppies, and can handle all temperaments. Elderly dogs hold a special place in my heart so I will ensure their safety and comfortability. No matter the age or size, I would love to care for your four-legged family member! I have a flexible schedule so I will ensure dates/times meet your needs. I provide house visits and walks any day of the week. I also have my own vehicle so reliable transportation is not an issue. About: I have taken care of animals all my life. For the last 3 years I have worked professionally as a pet sitter. My services include, feeding, walking/exercising, administering medications (orally and subcutaneously), and entertaining. I have worked with dogs of all sizes, cats, birds, chickens, rabbits, frogs, turtles, snakes, and pet rodents. I am available Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5PM. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats since my early teens. Majority have been my personal pets and have lived very spoiled lives full of lots of love and belly rubs. I’ll be taking online classes at a community college in the fall. Until then, my schedule will be mostly free with a few breaks for spending time with family and my own fur babies.
