About: Experience with multiple dogs and cats at a time. As well as caring for puppies and older dogs and cats. Growing up we always had at least 1 pet but would usually find ourselves with multiple at a time I work Monday to Thursday during the days so I am available for drop ins later on those days. My weekends are free for drop ins and overnights Your pets safety is always the top priority wether that’s outside or before I leave. They will always be left in a designated area if they have one as well as have water accessible at all times

About: I’ve always taken a special interest in animal care. I have over 20 years experience taking care of various types of pets ranging from rats to large dogs. I have worked as the lead canine educator for Petsmart as well as a sitter for friends and family. I’m new to Rover but not to pet care. I love being able to give pet parents the peace of mind knowing that their pet is safe and getting the care they need with me. I am only self employed otherwise and I enjoy working schedules that allow me flexibility to have a good work/life balance. I am able to schedule pet care around my other responsibilities. I have indoor cats. I advocate for all cats to be indoor. I do not plan on watching pets in my own home. I would prefer clients have a fence but I’m comfortable with pets on a leash.
“Ixia was absolutely wonderful with our Pointer/Pit mix, Crimson. This was our first time using Rover, and our first time leaving our dog for an extended period of time. (We had to take a trip out of state on short notice.) From the get-go, Ixia was very professional and attentive during our phone consultation - taking notes, checking details, learning the little intricacies of Crimson's routines. Crimson also has a torn ACL, so special care has to be taken during daily activities to ensure the injury doesn't worsen. Ixia was very reliable, responsive, and communicative with us the entire time. She was on time for every visit, sent us pictures of our pup, played with her, spent lots of time in the yard, and even went above and beyond to accommodate some extra drop-ins we hadn't originally planned. We were very impressed and thankful for the loving care that she provided our animals and by her professionalism and communication. 11/10 recommend, and will definitely be reaching out to her again in the future. About: I have 3 dogs of my own! I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life! And I even used to work at a horse farm! I grew up helping take care of goats, chickens, cows and horses! My work schedule is flexible! I spend a lot of time driving around so have plenty of time to run to your house every few hours to let your dog out or take care of any pet needs. My 3 dogs are crate trained, they know how to walk on leash and they also follow commands and walk alongside off leash. I can let dogs out for a quick bathroom break or take them for a walk to help stretch their legs
About: I've had animals in my life since I was 1! I've always had dogs, cats, birds, and small animals in my home. I've trained 3 of my own dogs. I've also trained horses and farm sat. Comfortable with animals of every size and most dispositions. Happy to tackle medications and baths. My daughter just started preschool so I'm transitioning out of the 'stay at home mom' portion of my life. Her current schedule makes returning to my prior career difficult so I thought I would try and make some animal friends to fill my quickly emptying best for the next two years as she transitions to full time big kid school I do not have a fenced in yard but I have a long lead and love across the street from Jamiels park and a block from the east bay bike path and town dog park. If your dog is comfortable with other dogs I am happy to take them in my home. If not, I would love to provide care at your home or take them for enriching walks

I would be the perfect person to babysit ( yes I said baby sit because they are our fur babies ) your pet because your pet would have my FULL attention.
