“Jenna was absolutely amazing and our cat immediately accepted her as a preferred visitor by rubbing up against her and purring! Jenna also sent great pictures and wrote detailed rover cards so we knew that our girl was well taken care of. We will definitely be booking with Jenna again!”

“An absolutely wonderful pet sitter who gave detailed notes for the daily check-ins, as well as several photos each day. Communication was great and Amanda took excellent care of my two boys ❤️”

“Haley was so great with my dog Prince. He barks at everyone, and he warmed up to her right away! She is so nice and very accommodating! I highly recommend her for your dog sitting needs!”

About: Hi there! My name is Sammy and I currently work in Finance remotely. I've always had a love for all animals - dogs, cats, birds, frogs, fish... the list goes on. I have not had the opportunity to have my own dogs/cats in my home, but I've taken care of family & friends' pets for many years and have always given their fur babies such amazing care and attention. I am extremely detail-oriented and follow directions precisely. I'm currently working remotely so I have plenty of time to provide attentive care as often as needed during the week with lots of time for fun! Safety is my #1 priority and I will always contact you if I'm unsure of next steps. Pets are family so they will be given my full care and attention.
“Barbara did a great job with my two older dogs. This was a fairly last-minute request, I lost my original coverage for my dogs the following day. Barbara came that evening to meet me and the dogs. The midday visit next day went perfectly. Very reliable and took great care of my "kids".”

“Sarah was on our puppy Beau's wavelength right away, and they had a great time together. She took great care of him while she was here, with his dinner, toys and snacks. I will definitely try to get Sarah to come back!”

“Jessica was so great with my babies! She played with them each time she visited and made sure they got lots of love. She even got my shy little guy to come out and play and get cuddles. Highly recommend Jessica! You and your furry friends won't regret it!”

“Kristie and Dominick are great! I mainly communicated with Kristie and she was very professional and conscientious! She has a love for animals for sure and will take care of your furry friend very well. My poor pup Kobe got sick ans she helped out asked questions and was very helpful and kind to both Kobe and myself. I highly recommend Kristie and Dominick.”

About: I’ve always taken a special interest in animal care. I have over 20 years experience taking care of various types of pets ranging from rats to large dogs. I have worked as the lead canine educator for Petsmart as well as a sitter for friends and family. I’m new to Rover but not to pet care. I love being able to give pet parents the peace of mind knowing that their pet is safe and getting the care they need with me. I am only self employed otherwise and I enjoy working schedules that allow me flexibility to have a good work/life balance. I am able to schedule pet care around my other responsibilities. I have indoor cats. I advocate for all cats to be indoor. I do not plan on watching pets in my own home. I would prefer clients have a fence but I’m comfortable with pets on a leash.
“Angela & Adam had great professional holiday energy for my senior kitties. They sent thorough reports and great/festive pictures that made us laugh which helped my son cause he always misses our fur babies when we are out of town. It is so refreshing to meet folks who genuinely love animals and provide top notch care!”

“Ixia was absolutely wonderful with our Pointer/Pit mix, Crimson. This was our first time using Rover, and our first time leaving our dog for an extended period of time. (We had to take a trip out of state on short notice.) From the get-go, Ixia was very professional and attentive during our phone consultation - taking notes, checking details, learning the little intricacies of Crimson's routines. Crimson also has a torn ACL, so special care has to be taken during daily activities to ensure the injury doesn't worsen. Ixia was very reliable, responsive, and communicative with us the entire time. She was on time for every visit, sent us pictures of our pup, played with her, spent lots of time in the yard, and even went above and beyond to accommodate some extra drop-ins we hadn't originally planned. We were very impressed and thankful for the loving care that she provided our animals and by her professionalism and communication. 11/10 recommend, and will definitely be reaching out to her again in the future. Thank you, Ixia!”

“Tara is incredible! She is great with the dogs. She is reliable and communicates well, making sure we always know how the dogs are doing and passes on any information about the house that is pertinent. She always sends pictures from her visits. She is also very responsive. I am genuinely happy we found her. She takes such fantastic care of our pups.”

About: I've been looking after dogs and cats since I was 12! They've ranged from my grandma's shitzu to dog sitting mastiffs! I've even watched reptiles like ball pythons and geckos. I've walked, bathed, fed, watered, and loved them the whole time. I, myself, have 2 bunnies, fish, and a ball python. All together the most dogs I've ever watched at the same time was 28! It was 5 adults dogs, one puppy the equivalent to a toddler, and 22 puppies! I am willing to go to the cape and islands for house sitting! At the moment I'm hoping that pet care will become a full-time job. At the moment I am able to do any day and any time. I, sadly, do not have a cute puppy or kitty to play with your fur baby, however it just means they get more love from me! I can lift a 75 pound dog if needed and have the resources to contain one if necessary.

“Kim was awesome at checking in on our indoor/outdoor needy Maine Coon kitty. It gave us piece of mind to know she was being looked after while we were away. We will definitely use Kim again!”

About: I have been taking care of pets since I was 15! Dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, and fish from all breads and ages, big or small. I take care in bathing, grooming, feeding, and walking! “Anna did a great job taking care of my cats for a week. She posted a lot of really cute pictures when she was playing with them and feeding them, it made me feel a lot better about how they were doing. Also, the cats seemed to like Anna so much that when we got home they didn't seem starved for attention :) We will use her again.”

North Dartmouth cat parents share their Rover experiences
This is our first time using Rover and we have to say there isn't a better option for our precious Lacey. We chose Barbara for her experience. After reading her profile and reviews we thought she'd be a perfect candidate. Lacey can be affectionate but often times she's to independent to bother. With the meet and greet she seemed comfortable and even allowed Barbara to pet her which usually takes some time but it was a sign. Everything went so well. We felt at ease knowing Lacey was comfortable with Barbara. We loved all of her pictures and we could tell that Lacey happy with Barbara's company. We're so thankful everything went as well as it did and we truly appreciate how caring and patient Barbara was with her. We would definitely recommend Barbara she really exceeded out expectations.
