About: Hello! My name is Ella, and I recently moved back to Wausau after graduating from college in Montana. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Natural Horsemanship, a horse-training method focused on understanding animal behavior and building a relationship based on communication and trust. My degree also included coursework in animal health, animal husbandry, and classes taught by both large- and small-animal veterinarians. My Fiancé, Cooper, also earned a degree in Natural Horsemanship with a minor in ranch management. Like me, he has spent much of his life around animals and is comfortable caring for a variety of pets and following specific care instructions. I grew up on a hobby farm and have had horses nearly my entire life. Dogs have always been part of the family, too—we’ve had everything from Labs and bird dogs to little Jack Russells! I currently have an energetic Blue Heeler who loves joining me on horseback rides and hikes. I’ve also grown up caring for a wide variety of animals, including parrots, dogs, cats, horses, fish, and even a squirrel! This experience has taught me that every animal has their own personality, routine, and needs. I started my own dog-sitting business in high school and continued pet sitting throughout college in Montana. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, horses, and fish, and I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions and maintaining your pet’s normal routine while you’re away. I work part time and on my own schedule - I run a small horse training and lesson program from home. I can easily fit pet care in throughout my daily routine and am very flexible. I believe pets are happiest and most comfortable when they can stay in their familiar environment and maintain their normal routine. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize their safety, comfort, and individual needs while treating your home with the same care and respect I would my own. Before each booking, I like to learn about your pet’s normal routine, personality, feeding schedule, exercise needs, medications, and any special instructions. I follow those routines as closely as possible so your pet experiences as little disruption as possible while you’re away. I am attentive to safety and make sure doors, gates, crates, and other areas are secure, and I’m careful to follow any instructions regarding your pet’s access to the home or yard. I’m also comfortable administering medications and providing additional care when needed. I want you to feel completely comfortable while you’re away, so I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, happy, and cared for—and for you to have peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands.

About: My experience consists of senior animals and animals who require a little more time and attention. I take care of pets with very specific requirements such as giving daily oral medications, or only liking one flavor of the kibble in their bowl which requires me to pick out the pieces. Regardless if your pet needs a lot to even just a companion, I strive to build a good relationship with each animal I care for. I currently work nights without a set schedule and every other weekend, so I will be readily available for your pet sitting needs! I have a flexible schedule so please don’t hesitate to ask if I’m available and I will help you if I can! It would be a pleasure for me to feed your animal, take them for walks, play with them, give them companionship, keep their brain stimulated, brush them, crate them if necessary and more. I understand everyone has specific preferences with their pets so I will do my best to accommodate their specific needs. My goal is to keep your pet happy, yet safe!

I’m also comfortable with daily walks, playtime, feeding, fresh water, administering medications when instructed, cleaning up after pets, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. I pay close attention to changes in a dog’s behavior, appetite, energy, or bathroom habits so I can communicate any concerns to their owner. Most importantly, I don’t view pet sitting as simply stopping by to provide food and water. I want each dog to receive companionship, attention, exercise, and affection while their family is away. I treat the pets in my care like my own and make their safety and well-being my priority. Pet care is a big part of my daily life. I have several dogs, so caring for them is part of my everyday routine. I help with feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, cleaning up after them, and making sure they’re safe and comfortable. I genuinely enjoy spending time with my animals, and they’re a big part of my life. I care for pets by making sure they are fed, have fresh water, get plenty of exercise and attention, and are kept in a safe, clean environment. I follow each pet’s individual routine, including walks, playtime, medication if needed, and any special instructions from the owner. I also make sure to give them plenty of love and companionship while their owners are away.
