About: I have always had pets in my life. From rescued dogs I would fine abandoned on the side of the road to horses who were about to be euthanized by our local rancher. Cats, kittens, puppies and adult senior dogs always have a place in my heart and home. I am an adopter and rescuer. I would love to help you with potty breaks to walks. Feeding to medication administration. Let me know what you need help with and I’ll be there. I’m currently looking to help pet owners as I have been in situations where I needed help with drop ins for potty breaks to needing someone to walk my dog while I was at work. I’m familiar and comfortable with doing all of the above along with giving oral or topical medication. I’m recently retired and would love to spend time helping out. I am very familiar with dogs and cats and all that goes along with making sure they’re comfortable and well taken care of care of.

About: I have several years of hands-on experience pet sitting for friends, family and clients. I have cared for pets of all ages and sizes. My experience includes, my own pets my whole life including puppies, daily walks, feeding schedules, medications, playtime and overnight care. I will provide regular updates with photos and I am attentive to pets routines, making sure they feel safe and comfortable while owners are away. I work full time from 8am-5pm but have the ability to take breaks for drop in visits. I am more than happy to work around this schedule. I have a fenced in yard and a playful and friendly mini dachshund of my own to keep your dog company while you are away. I understand dogs needs and will make sure my home or yours is a safe and loving environment for them.

About: We are an active family with 3 children (and one on the way) who love to play outside, take long walks, and even run with our dog. Animals are well-loved in our home and welcome on the furniture. I would love to include your pet in any exercise needs as well! We are available for walking pets before 8 am and after 4:30 p.m. every day. I can also do mid-day drop-ins if located in the Wausau area (best if northeast side of Wausau as I work in the Industrial park or near Merrill since my husband works there). We have a 2000 sq foot house, so there is plenty of room for more pets to house overnight. My kids absolutely love playing ball and walking the dog, too! We have an energetic black lab who loves to play. I believe in being active and playing as much as possible with my family (but am totally ok watching dogs who love to nap :) ).

About: I grew up with a variety of pets, and I thoroughly love all kinds of animals! My family had a dog about 19years, and we took care of him from puppy years to old age. I have my own dog, Roxy a collie mix, who I raised by myself from 4mo old and she has learned so much! I am a travel nurse so I’m not from the area and I am free any day that I’m not working! I typically do 3 - 12hr night shifts. Since I am not from the area I cannot take animals into my own place, but I am very flexible and willing to accommodate any way that is needed for you and your pet's needs.

About: My experience consists of senior animals and animals who require a little more time and attention. I take care of pets with very specific requirements such as giving daily oral medications, or only liking one flavor of the kibble in their bowl which requires me to pick out the pieces. I currently work nights without a set schedule and every other weekend, so I will be readily available for your pet sitting needs! Ever since I was young I’ve had a dog in the house, to me your dog is your family and I strive to treat all my animals like family members. As of now I have a pretty open schedule including weekends. As for drop in visits I prefer to keep them in the Wausau area I can provide a crate/kennel for your dog if needed. I have a French Bulldog that is very high energy and excited when new people/dogs arrive, he is very vocal but he is friendly.He is more standoffish with people but does great with dogs. He is up to date on vaccinations and neutered. I have a large partially fenced in yard.As far as drop in visits I am able to make 2-3 visits a day to your home.

About: I am currently a veterinary assistant, so I am comfortable paying close attention to an animal’s behavior, routine, and overall well-being. I also have experience working as a behavioral training assistant and dog walker at a humane society, where I worked with dogs that had many different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I have experience caring for dogs with separation anxiety, and I understand how important patience, consistency, and a calm environment can be for pets who may feel stressed when their owners are away. Through my behavioral training experience, I have also practiced working with dogs on basic manners, confidence-building, and adjusting my approach based on each dog’s personality. I also have practice giving medications and assisting with vaccines, so I am comfortable following specific care instructions and making sure each pet receives the attention they need. Overall, I try to treat every pet like they are my own while still respecting the routine and expectations their owner has already built. Whether a pet needs extra playtime, a slower approach, medication, walks, or just someone calm and attentive nearby, I am happy to adjust my care to what works best for them. Pet care fits very well into my current routine because I am only working as a veterinary assistant in Antigo two days out of the week. Outside of those workdays, I have a flexible schedule and am especially available on weekends. Since I will be in the area for the summer before I move, I would love to use that time to help people in the local community with pet sitting, dog walking, drop-ins, or other care needs.
