About: Hello! My name is Ella, and I recently moved back to Wausau after graduating from college in Montana. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Natural Horsemanship, a horse-training method focused on understanding animal behavior and building a relationship based on communication and trust. My degree also included coursework in animal health, animal husbandry, and classes taught by both large- and small-animal veterinarians. My Fiancé, Cooper, also earned a degree in Natural Horsemanship with a minor in ranch management. Like me, he has spent much of his life around animals and is comfortable caring for a variety of pets and following specific care instructions. I grew up on a hobby farm and have had horses nearly my entire life. Dogs have always been part of the family, too—we’ve had everything from Labs and bird dogs to little Jack Russells! I currently have an energetic Blue Heeler who loves joining me on horseback rides and hikes. I’ve also grown up caring for a wide variety of animals, including parrots, dogs, cats, horses, fish, and even a squirrel! This experience has taught me that every animal has their own personality, routine, and needs. I started my own dog-sitting business in high school and continued pet sitting throughout college in Montana. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, horses, and fish, and I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions and maintaining your pet’s normal routine while you’re away. I follow those routines as closely as possible so your pet experiences as little disruption as possible while you’re away. I am attentive to safety and make sure doors, gates, crates, and other areas are secure, and I’m careful to follow any instructions regarding your pet’s access to the home or yard. I’m also comfortable administering medications and providing additional care when needed. I want you to feel completely comfortable while you’re away, so I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, happy, and cared for—and for you to have peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands.
About: WE'VE MOVED! Same great care, new location featuring a larger home and more land to play :) We are an active family with 3 children (and one on the way) who love to play outside, take long walks, and even run with our dog. Animals are well-loved in our home and welcome on the furniture. I would love to include your pet in any exercise needs as well! We are available for walking pets before 8 am and after 4:30 p.m. every day. I can also do mid-day drop-ins if located in the Wausau area (best if northeast side of Wausau as I work in the Industrial park or near Merrill since my husband works there). We have a 3500+ sq foot house and 10 wooded acres, so there is plenty of room for more pets to house overnight. My kids absolutely love playing ball and walking the dog, too! We have an energetic black lab who loves to play. I believe in being active and playing as much as possible with my family (but am totally ok watching dogs who love to nap :) ).

About: I have experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. Ever since I was young I’ve had a dog in the house, to me your dog is your family and I strive to treat all my animals like family members. As of now I have a pretty open schedule including weekends. As for drop in visits I prefer to keep them in the Wausau area I can provide a crate/kennel for your dog if needed. I have a French Bulldog that is very high energy and excited when new people/dogs arrive, he is very vocal but he is friendly.He is more standoffish with people but does great with dogs. He is up to date on vaccinations and neutered. I have a large partially fenced in yard.As far as drop in visits I am able to make 2-3 visits a day to your home.

About: I live in the country so can go for long walks, swim in pond . . Will be treated as part of the family and spoiled rotten. Right now I’m still working during the week. I’m looking more at weekends. I can do during the week if your comfortable them being home alone for 6 hours a day. I have a lot of open area , I also have a very friendly dog that loves to have a playmate or just someone to share his treats with. He is very gentle with puppies and older laid back dogs.

About: I’ve grown up with many different kinds of animals from dogs to bunnies & hamsters. I’ve also been around cats my entire life we just never had one in the house because my mom was allergic. I love animals as they have been my entire life growing up! I have been dog sitting for a year now, since January 2025 Pet care takes place in my everyday life because I have an 8-year-old dog and just got a puppy recently.
