“Tammie is always great with my pups! She is their happy home away from home. Great care, great sitter, great people. I wouldn’t want to take my girls anywhere else for extended care.😊”

“Brandi was very communicative and understanding. They were flexible when we had to drop off the dogs due to travel accommodations. Our dogs felt right at home and had a blast playing with the other dogs.”

“Shawn and Joey were great sitters for my dog Ivy! They were flexible with scheduling, sent updates and pictures and were super kind throughout everything. Ivy and their dog Mindy got along great and they have a nice yard for them to play in. I would definitely recommend them for anyone looking for a sitter in the area!”

“Nothing but great things to say about Kara & Ben. They took such great care of my two dogs while I was away for the weekend. I am not from the area and this was my first time using Rover for boarding so I was a little anxious. Both Kara and Ben provided pictures and reassurance that they were being well cared for. I am very appreciative! 10/10 recommend 😊”

“Andrea was wonderful. My dog Gracie has severe anxiety and it wasn’t going to work, unfortunately. I ended up having to leave work and take her home. I felt bad for Andrea, but she reassured me she was fine with everything. Some dogs just don’t do well in other people’s homes. Anita”

About: I've taken care of animals of all kinds since I was 3 years old. Cats, dogs, birds, ferrets gerbils and as an adult horses cows chickens although I'm assuming you're not going to be dropping off any of those I am pretty much home anytime and available to watch animals day or night. I am self employed as a farmer during the summer but off during the wonter I have a newly updated 100-year-old home with two rooms that kitties can stay in if they are shy and don't play well with other cats. Dogs I keep with me at all times. I

“Brooke was OUTSTANDING with our pup! Daily updates with pictures, tons of lovings and cuddles, and plenty of walks while we were away. We brought home one very happy boy! I highly recommend her when you're in need of the best out there to take care of your fur baby!”

“Goose was so happy staying with Leora. I was in town for business before heading to Carbondale to attend a memorial for my brother who passed in March. While I’ve had to work Goose stayed for both boarding and day care. He was happy to see me and happy to go back. I recommend Leora”

About: I've grown up with pets my whole life - dogs, cats, cows, horses, hamsters, mice, you name it I probably had it at one point. I have a dog of my own as well. I like to say I've had animal experience my whole life, but formally I have had over 8 years of experience in the animal care industry. I have spent time in veterinary clinics, grooming, boarding, doggy daycare, dog training, permanent sanctuaries, rehabilitation facilities, and farms. I have also fostered multiple dogs from a local rescue. I recently earned a degree in animal science and have plans to attend veterinary school. I really really love animals and everything about them, and I would love to spend some time with your pet when you're not able to! I take my dog for two walks a day, a shorter 10-15 minute walk in the morning, and longer 30-45 minute walk after work in the afternoon. On days I am not working, I go on multiple short walks a day. There are paths I walk for both off-leash and on-leash walking. Typical available days are T-F. Weekends vary. Outdoor activities (walks, meeting friends dogs, swimming, fetch, etc.) are my primary methods of exercise and activity with my pet, and would be with clients pets as well. On days it's not so nice I like to work on training inside or find new enrichment activities to keep my pet occupied. I take pride in keeping a pet environment clean, so I regularly bathe and brush my dog, as well as clean food bowls. I will care for my clients pets as I would care for my own.
The median cost per night for dog boarding in Weston is $40
Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Weston
Nothing but great things to say about Kara & Ben. They took such great care of my two dogs while I was away for the weekend. I am not from the area and this was my first time using Rover for boarding so I was a little anxious. Both Kara and Ben provided pictures and reassurance that they were being well cared for. I am very appreciative! 10/10 recommend 😊

Kara and Ben have a beautiful, kind, and loving family. They welcomed my high energy puppy girl into their home, and she clearly had fun playing with their dog and kids for many days while I was in the hospital. I get the sense that they want their kids to experience different pets for the learning experience, which is very cool I think. They seem to enjoy the experience overall, which made it so comfortable for me. Thanks so much!

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
