About: A calm, loving home where your pet will be treated like family. I’ve had dogs my whole life, and now that I don’t have one of my own, I truly love caring for others as if they were mine. I’m home full-time, so your pet will always have company, attention, and a peaceful environment. I have a fully fenced yard where pets can go outside freely and enjoy fresh air whenever they want. Inside, they are free to relax wherever they feel most comfortable; on the couch, by my side, or wherever they choose. I also provide a continuous fresh water fountain so they always have clean water available. I adapt to each pet’s routine and personality so they feel safe and loved. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just cuddles, I adapt to what they need.
About: I love dogs and I love to enjoy them in the middle of all my activities and make them feel at home. I offer my experience and I provide a safe place and a lot of fun. I always have a lot of ease to make the dogs very comfortable and as if they were at home. They are always very happy to come back and the greet me with a lot emotion which is very comforting for me.i follow the instructions of the owners with reference to medicines ,food, allergies so that the stay does not generate an alteration in their lifestyle. in the entrance of my door I have another gate to prevent it from escaping and in addition to regular walks enjoy the fence patio many times in the day.
About: Patience and love for animals. There have always been pets in my family, so I have learned the knowledge I have at home. i have also sat for family members in my home for extended stays- Great communication with photos daily with pet owners will be part of my service. You will seek my services always as I will provide care to your pet way above your expectations. I currently have plenty of time to take care of your pet so that it can be accommodated without any problem. Your pet will be my only priority, rest assured. I don't have pets at home, so all the attention would be for your pet, as well as the area is large enough for your pet to run freely.
“It was all last minute but everything went smooth and easy.We were very glad to have found Charlotte, she is amazing with the animals, we will definitely call her back.”

“Susan was great! We had some issues with our automatic litter box and food bowl and she was able to come and fix everything while we were away. Very capable and caring sitter!”

About: Animals have been part of my life since I can remember. I grew up spending time on my grandparents’ ranch around all kinds of animals. I have experience riding horses and doing equine therapy. I adopted my first cat at 3, two more feline siblings at 13, and three years ago finally got my golden doodle, Muffin, who I trained myself. My pets are my world — and thanks to my equine therapy background, I’m a strong, calm communicator with animals of any size, big or small I’m 22 and studying Fashion Business, though I’m currently taking time off school to be with family and save up. I also model in NYC, so my schedule can shift week to week — that flexibility actually works well for pet care, since I’m not locked into a rigid 9-to-5 I can provide safety & trust by bringing a live camera with me to clients homes in which they can access to ensure their baby is being cared for and loved as if they were me own. Pictures & videos as well.
“Alice took wonderful care of our fur babies for a week! She was reliable, patient, and kind throughout our time away. We felt confident knowing they were in such good hands. We would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and dependable pet sitter!”
“Miguel and Hannah were awesome! Took care of our two dogs for 5 days while we were away on a cruise. House was in good shape, dogs were happy, and working with them both was easy as could be. Highly recommend them!”

“She was very nice, it was a meet and greet, but she met my cats, was very patient and listened to everything we told her. Very soft voice so my cats were not scared. We will contact her for future visits.”

About: I have cared for animals since a very young age as I have always had pets. At this time, I only have a young cat but I have taken care of animals as small as a chihuahua and as big as an American Bulldog. I am very high energy and I love to play but I also like to take the time to teach dogs new tricks. As for cats, I can totally match their vibe and play with them or just lounge with them. I’m a full-time legal assistant at a law firm so I work 9am-5pm from Monday to Friday but I am very high energy and can walk or feed or care for your cuddly critters after work or on weekends! I can crate your furry friend if needed or follow any specific routines you may have. We all have that one silly thing we do at home for our pets and I don’t mind the odd requests if it means ensuring the safety and care of your pet.”

“I recently hired Alexis to look after my beloved cats while I was away on vacation, and I couldn’t be happier with the care she provided.. Upon meeting the pet sitter, Alexis I was immediately reassured by her warm demeanor and obvious love for animals. She took the time to listen attentively as I explained my cats’ routines, preferences, and any special instructions they might need. Throughout my time away, she went above and beyond to ensure the well-being of my furry companions. She not only provided basic care such as feeding and playtime, but also took the time to give them plenty of love and attention. I received daily updates and photos, which brought me so much peace of mind knowing that my cats were happy and content in their own home. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Alexis. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of reliable and compassionate pet care. Thank you Alexis, for taking such excellent care of my fur babies—I will definitely be using your services again in the future!”

“We are so grateful for Carla and the wonderful care she gave to our cat Nico. She was highly communicative, shared videos and pictures, which was greatly reassuring as it was our first time leaving out 10 month old cat. She also administered his medication daily and gave him extra playtime and cuddles.”

About: As someone who has traveled for work, I understand the importance of quality care while you’re away from home. I’ve cared for animals most of my life. While in undergraduate school, I worked at a veterinary clinic and boarding facility. I have cared for a variety of animals: dogs (including terminally ill dogs), cats (don't mind a litter box), guinea pigs, turtles, horses, and hamsters. I have trained my own puppies. I am currently an independent contractor that works a great deal from home and has a flexible schedule allowing for availability across the day to care for pets. I am compassionate and understanding of client needs as they pertain to their pets. I am reliable and punctual. I understand the importance of pet safety as well as privacy for clients.
About: I have loved dogs my whole life. A day without my dog is like a day without sunshine. He is our number one family member 😂 I was an ICU nurse until I had my sons and became a stay at homeMom. I live in Weston and have cared for friends and neighbors dogs in my community. I really enjoy dogs and have plenty of time to shower yours with love and attention. In my clients home, I would be happy to walk your dog through our beautiful communities. If you prefer, I would spend time in your backyard with your dogs or cuddling on the couch. It’s up to you.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
