“Amazing boarding experience! My two dogs had an amazing time and got all of their puppy energy out running around the huge grass space and playing with Davis’ two sweet dogs. Highly recommend!”

“Second time with Kim. We ran into a snafu and had to change the arrangements at the last minute. Kim was very flexible and understanding. Once again, she took great care of our girl!”

About: I am a full time dog sitter and would love to care for your furry best friend/baby while you’re away. I have had dogs my whole life and have been caring for dogs since my kids left me an empty nester 8 years ago. I always share pictures of your pup enjoying their stay and will send updates daily. I have a very playful 5 year old Shih Tzu named Mia that loves making new friends and is also excited to welcome your pup into our house! I am from Brasil and speak English, Spanish and Portuguese, I have had a dog since I was 5 years old and love them! I am a full time dog sitter so they will have all of my attention. I like taking walks throughout the day and live in a suburban neighborhood with lots of grass and parks. Your dog will be cared for the same as my dog. I let them roam free around my house and won’t leave them in a cage unless you specify. I let them interact with my dog and play with her freely. I keep every dogs food and bowls separate and follow whatever rules you give me when it comes to caring for your dog. I will let them sleep where they want.
“Debi is the best! Our little Brody always has a great time! It’s very reassuring to be able to go away and know Brody is in loving and caring hands when we are away. Debi is always immediately responsive and an amazing dog sitter.”

“We had a great experience with Lisa! She graciously accepted our booking on very short notice, which was such a relief because we were already on the port to depart for our cruise. From the moment Dante was dropped off, we could tell he was in great hands. She provided clear communication on how to get to her property. Lisa was professional and attentive to all of Dante’s needs. She sent us a couple of updates which included photos and videos which helped us relax knowing he was happy and comfortable. It was clear she cared about him, as they paid close attention to his routines and personality quirks. When we picked up Dante, he was calm, bathed, well-exercised, and clearly very well cared for. We’re so grateful for Lisa’s flexibility and loving care. We’ll definitely book with them again in the future if we are in the area!”

“Isabella is amazing! This was my second time booking her. My pup unexpectedly got her period and Isabella still accepted Penny and consistently changed her doggy diapers. Isabella provided a loving home for my pup while I was away and gave me updates as well as pictures of my girl, showing that she was living her best life. Isabella is an amazing dog sitter with a ton of patience. Will definitely keep booking with her.”

About: I have hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats with different personalities and routines. I’m comfortable with daily walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and giving pets the attention and patience they need to feel safe and happy while you’re away. I’m a first-year college student with most of my classes scheduled in the mornings from Tuesday through Thursday. I’m free the rest of those days and have open availability on Mondays, Fridays, and weekends, allowing me to provide flexible and consistent care for pets. I live in a pet-friendly neighborhood without a backyard, but there are multiple safe and accessible areas nearby that are great for walks and outdoor time. I enjoy taking pets on regular walks and making sure they get enough exercise, fresh air, and stimulation based on their energy level.
“Gal and Mor were absolutely amazing! They were very responsive from the start and kept me updated with pictures throughout Sky's stay, which was so reassuring. When I picked Sky up, she was happy and playful - she takes a little time to warm up to new people, so that’s a big deal for her. I would highly recommend Gal and Mor to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter :)”

“Tatiana was an AMAZING sitter for muffin. When a different sitter cancelled at the last moment, tatiana was able to accommodate us. She was so sweet and caring with Muffin. She provided her with comfort and lots of opportunities to play. It was so nice to be able to relax on our trip knowing muffin was happy!”

“Sabreena and her husband are very nice people and took great care of our pet. She was quick to respond to our texts provided us with daily pictures videos and updates on our dog. We will definitely use her services again!”

About: Hi! My name is Maria and I have been around animals my whole life. I grew up with dogs, cats, and even a guinea pig, so caring for pets has always been a natural part of my daily life. I truly love animals and I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs. My goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they are away from their family. I have experience caring for dogs of different sizes, ages, and energy levels, including senior dogs and pets that require medication. If your pet has any special needs, please let me know so I can provide the best care possible. I treat every pet as if they were my own, with patience, attention, and lots of affection. Whether your dog loves playing, going for walks, or simply relaxing and getting cuddles, I will make sure they feel at home. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I will always keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I would love the opportunity to meet you and your pet! As a stay-at-home mom, I spend most of my day at home, so your dog will rarely be left alone. I can provide plenty of attention, playtime, potty breaks, and cuddles throughout the day. My goal is to create a safe, loving, and stress-free environment where your pet feels at home. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a calm, clean, and loving home environment where pets are treated like family. Because I am a stay-at-home mom, pets receive frequent supervision and are rarely left alone. I carefully follow each pet’s routine, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise, and any special instructions provided by their owners. I believe good communication is very important, so I will send regular updates and photos during their stay. Before every booking, I like to learn about each pet’s personality, habits, and any special needs to help them feel safe, comfortable, and stress-free while away from home.
“Naomi did an incredible job. The communication was excellent, and this was my first time leaving my baby with anyone. He returned in perfect condition, and I will definitely be using him again.”

“Andreina and her son were absolutely fantastic dogsitters. They took care of my older dog for 4 days and sent pictures, videos and were extremely kind. Highly recommended and will definitely contact them again.”

“I am so happy I booked a stay for Dobby with Teresa! She took amazing care of him and sent me tons of pictures throughout the day. Dobby barely wanted to leave when I picked him up! It felt so good to be able to know that he was in good hands while I was on a work trip and I would book with her again in a heartbeat.”

About: I’ve been around dogs for most of my life and cared for my own German Shepherd for 13 great years. Through that experience, I learned how to provide consistent care, exercise, companionship, and attention to a dog’s changing needs as they age. I also volunteered at a humane society, where I worked with dogs from many different backgrounds and temperaments. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and strive to make every pet feel comfortable, safe, and happy while in my care. Im currently working part-time so ill have plenty of time for your pup, im out of school for the summer and am free of traveling plans. I am available Friday-Tuesday. My neighborhood has a large acre of grass behind my house for walking and playtime, there is also a large park nearby that we could walk to.
“Theresa is an angel. Another dog sitter that I was using had to cancel at the last minute due to a family emergency. I contacted Theresa and she said that she would be more than happy to watch my dog. She sent a ton of videos and even groomed my dog for us. I cannot be happierwith her caring service.”

ELSA watch my dog for a little bit over a week. She's sent some pictures and updates. When I picked my dog up,she seemed very happy and tired. I assume that she was happy because she played with all of the other dogs. Elsa always answered my text messages very fast and I am appreciative of that. You can trust her with your furry family member.

Estefany is an excellent pet sitter…she took care of my Teddy like he was hers, I think Teddy’s time with her were like a vacation for him, he came back very happy!!, so I’ll recommend Estefany 100%….if you need to leave you four legs friends/family …she is the one.

Elizabeth is amazing! She took wonderful care of Teddy, our 4-month-old Maltipoo. Since he’s still a puppy, he needs special attention, and Elizabeth provided it with such love and care that he felt completely at home—like he was on a little vacation! She kept us updated every day with pictures and status updates, which gave us so much peace of mind. Words aren’t enough to express our gratitude. Thank you, Elizabeth! We’ll definitely choose you again next time!

Miguel and Hannah really cared for our baby. They took her for walks, they played with her, and handled her frozen food great. They also held her for hours after the arranged pickup up time when our travel plans where delayed. Their flexibility really helped us out. Totally recommend!!

We had a wonderful experience leaving our dog, Paru, with Giovanna for four days. Paru is usually very shy and anxious around strangers, so we were pleasantly surprised by how quickly she became comfortable and attached to Giovanna. Paru received exceptional care and so much love while we were away. We truly appreciated the thoughtful updates and the many photos- they gave us such peace of mind. We’re incredibly grateful and would absolutely reach out to her again. Highly recommend!

A very good experience! The place is incredible and the pets have a great time. It's the first time we've left Leon in an unfamiliar location. We visited the place, saw how organized they were, and received constant communication throughout the stay. We would definitely leave him with Carlos and Claudia again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
