“Amanda took care of our home and cats for multiple weeks while we were out of country; she was attentive during our orientation and made sure to pay attention to each one. Useful since two of them don't get along. When we got home the litter was scooped and messes were swept. Incidental messes like hairballs were cleaned up and reported on during her daily write ups. We had a remote camera set up in the living room (we informed her about) and our check ins always showed us how she took care to ensure our local escape artist was shooed from the door with care and safety in mind. About: For as long as I can remember, animals have been a part of my life. Dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, sheep, horses, you name it, I’ve taken care of them. I’ve raised and trained puppies, cared for elderly pets and everything in between. Large or small, I love them all I am retired so my time is very flexible. About: Grew up with family dogs, and strategically made friends with cats so I could pretend they were mine. Currently I have a 7 year old goldendoodle who has taught me a TON about training dogs in the 6 years I've had him. Your good boy will enjoy every smell on our walk and get some (owner approved) treats along the way, and I'm happy to continue your work on any behaviors you're encouraging! My schedule is pretty much wide open for north county visits (McKinleyville and up) - feel free to reach out with same day requests! I'll follow your instructions to the letter, and will err on the side of caution. I like to take the time to get to know your critters, and let them get to know me so that it's always exciting when I show up! For interested dog owners, I can facilitate a meet with my own dog for a double walk or a dog park playmate - after a meet and greet to make sure they get along.

About: I’ve been taking care of pets ever since I was a young girl and knew my life would be dedicated to them. I then became a vet tech in 2018 and have loved being able to take care of them medically as well. I have gained so much knowledge of healthcare and husbandry ranging from puppies/kittens to seniors of all kinds of breeds and personalities to give your fur baby the best. I’m very familiar with most health conditions and comfortable with all medications(oral/injection) I am also responsive and prepared when health concerns or even emergencies come up. I have my own vet tech kit to treat minor injuries and illnesses but will always seek the appropriate medical care if necessary.I am also happy to provide basic grooming like bathing brushing and even nail trims ( all if they are comfortable with it) free of charge if requested. Your pet will be in the most excellent hands, I will always do everything in my power to keep them safe happy and healthy and I will love spending time with them. I am very professional reliable and you can rest easy knowing your pets are in my care and I will always keep you updated. I cannot wait to meet you and your pets as they will be treated like my own ( royal treatment for sure 👑) I’m just taking relief shifts as a vet tech currently and have a flexible schedule for pet sitting. About: I’ve had a few pets throughout my life including dogs, cats, and even a bird at one point! I’ve also watched and looked after my friend’s pets over the years while they were away! I’m currently in my last semester of college and i’m only taking 4 classes! Every day except for Wednesday's i’m done with school at 2pm so I have the whole afternoon to walk, play, and check on your pet! I also have availability on Sundays as well which is a whole day of being able to look after your and care for your pet! I care for pets by making sure they’ve had time to play, make sure they are well fed and stocked up on water, and they have the opportunity to go to the bathroom. On walks I always make sure to be extra careful while walking near busy streets, i’m cautious of other animals and pets and read their body language as well as my clients to ensure everyones safety, and ensure that your pet isn’t getting into anything they aren’t supposed to while on a walk or in the home!

About: I have been surrounded by animals for most of my life and I love to help them live their best lives! I studied pre-veterinary biology for two years, so I know about the science behind animals as well as understanding their basic care and needs. I am very good at matching the energy level of any animal and I have a special passion for exotic animals (but of course I love dogs and cats too!). I am experienced in giving medication and I do not shy away from cleaning up any and all messes that they may make. I am currently a student at Cal Poly Humboldt and I have a lot of breaks in my class schedule. For house sitting, I would only be out of the house for 2-4 hours at a time for classes on weekdays and would be able to stay all day on weekends. My schedule is also perfect for drop ins and potty breaks. I feel that I am a very easy person to work with and I will follow any and all guidelines or rules that you present to me. I will also help with house cleaning if you would like that, in addition to cleaning up after your pet(s).

About: I love taking long walks in the woods, bike riding, and running with pups! If your dog needs a lil extra energy release, (or not) I'm your person. I have no other pets, and will give your dog the attention they deserve. I work in the evenings, so can walk from 10AM-4:00PM WED/THURS/FRI. I always walk anyway, or go for a run, so incorporating a furry friend seems perfect. I have a new(er) pickup truck, that has a plush dog bed in the back for your critter. If they have car-anxiety, I've got a blanket in the cab for them.

About: Dogs have been apart of my life since I was 8 years old. Personally I took care of a Boston terrier and that is the only breed that Ive worked with in my house. Other breeds that I’ve had experience with our my neighbors dogs including different types of Pitbulls and huskies. I am very comfortable with larger dog find them to be huge lovers. I am welcome to any size dog i know I can handle and take care of them based on my personal experience with my own pets and neighbors pets. My neighbors pets have been in my life longer than the Boston terrier that we got as a family dog. My family has now had three Boston terriers throughout my lifetime. I am currently a full-time Cal poly Humboldt student, but I have 1 to 2 hour breaks between most of my classes and I’m free in the evenings for dog walking throughout the day. I am currently moved out of my parents house so I don’t have any pets in my home but I have a fenced off backyard and is spacious living area if they need to stay overnight that is OK. I have plenty of places to walk right outside of my home. In the clients home I would be able to do any pet care that they may require or want such as walking be brushing. About: I have many great references for house sitting. I can accommodate dogs of all life stages as well as dogs with special needs or diets. I would be happy to send you photos of your dog during their stay. I am open to negotiations on rates if you have a special circumstance you would like to discuss. I can also provide housekeeping. If I am at your home for more than 3 days I will typically do a clean for no charge. I charge an hourly rate to clean otherwise and can provide references if there are any chores you would like me to handle while you are away. I am a trusted licensed Realtor. My schedule is somewhat flexible. I can accommodate pick up or drop off. Let me know your situation and I can find the best way to work with you.
