“Kim was amazing! I’m a first time dog mom and was so nervous. She did great meeting Jake and really knew the best way to introduce herself to him! She gave updates and photos which helped ease my nerves. Highly highly recommend her to everyone and anyone!”

“Ericka was absolutely lovely. Our Olive warmed up to her right away and loved spending time with her. Ericka was extremely flexible with her time as I needed to make a couple changes since my travel plans were adjusted last minute. Definitely having Ericka back to stay in our home and take care of our Olive!”

“Mannee came to our rescue for a last-minute Thanksgiving request and we couldn't have been happier. He has a wonderful presence that's very calming and we knew our baby was in good hands. Our dog is still learning to be comfortable with separation and Mannee handled him wonderfully. After he left, Kai stared at the door, dismayed that his new friend wasn't going to stay! Fantastic first Rover experience with Mannee.”

“I am Brooke’s first client with Rover and I definitely won’t be her last! She was a delight to have stay in my house with my three dogs. She took especially amazing care of my 16 year old who is blind and mostly deaf and still managed played all day with our other 2 pups. I received many photos and videos without prompt. We will definitely be asking Brooke back to help us out when we travel. Highly recommend her!”

“Mary Kate was a great sitter. Our 2 dogs loved her from the moment they met her. She is always on time and provide updates throughout the day. We will definitely be using her again.”

“Taylor took great care of my two chihuahuas and home while my husband and me were gone for the holidays. We so appreciated her availability on Christmas! The dogs seemed happy when we returned and the house was in good order.”

“Amanda is hands down the best dog-sitter I've had in a decade! When I came home from a 6-day trip, Poe (my dog) was calm and happy and clearly well cared for. Amanda sent photos and updates several times a day. She went above and beyond to make sure that my nervous dog had loving company. I highly recommend Amanda -- she's caring, competent, reliable, and took care of my dog as if she were her own dog. Thanks, Amanda!”

“Shahrzad looked after my medically fragile, elderly dog for 10 days. She did a great job following a complex medical protocol and she sent a photo every day. Poe was happy and calm when I came home. Thank you, Shahrzad!”

“This was our first time having Tim over to watch our dogs and he was great! We have two big, high energy boys that can be a lot but Tim was great with them. He provided us regular updates and was amazing with communication. We would definitely have Tim look after our boys in the future!”

About: I’ve cared for animals my whole life, from pets to working as a kennel manager, I have many years of hands on experience. I just recently graduated from an animal care and training program and I specialize in training, welfare, and animal behavior. I’m currently working a part time job and am looking for more animal based jobs that I enjoy and can do to fill my time. I have some free time on my hands and would love to direct that towards animal care. I thoroughly follow all directions given by owners and am very meticulous and detail oriented. I have experience caring for geriatric animals, as well as animals who need medications multiple times a day and specific needs.

About: I take pride in my abilities to shift back and forth from warm kindness to stern alpha voice if necessary to create a loving but safe environment. It's a realistic concern that doggies get themselves into trouble and they need someone who can quickly navigate what will keep them safe. I've done so with my beloved papillon Jenson for the last 13 years and have trained several other pups to do tricks like "speak, heel, sit, close the door" and many more with clicker-treat-reinforcement training. I also volunteer at West Valley Animal Shelter to walk, pick up after, and play with the little dogs. My dog has an auto-immune condition requiring various kinds of medical care so I am also comfortable with giving medication. I am also excellent at record keeping and communications. Happy to work with my clients above and beyond so they feel secure with their fur baby in my care. I have a lot of flexibility with my schedule and looking to build consistent client list to check in with for a while as I get my Psych degree. Other activities I take part in : Reading, yoga, meditation, playing the guitar, hiking, walking. Pet sitting is an apt and lucrative addition to my schedule. :) I bring with me treats, pet safe cleaning supplies, and a vigilant attitude. I have my own fur babies and understand how crucial it is to prepare as much as I can to keep them safe from their curiosities as well as provide them warmth and care in lieu of their parents being present. Should an extra mess occur, or something unpredictable, I am of calm attitude and take care of all still with a sense of urgency. I love taking reports and keeping in communication as well. :)

About: From growing up with pets to working in a vet hospital, animals have always been at the center of my world. While my job is mostly administrative, I’m lucky to connect with every fur baby that walks through our doors— and their humans too! I’ve picked up a lot of knowledge just by being in this environment, from understanding pet behavior to recognizing when something might need a professional’s attention. What sets me apart? I have direct access to veterinary care, and I’m well-versed in how to handle unexpected situations calmly and with care. Your pet will be treated like my own—whether that means a cozy walk, playtime, or simply being a comforting presence while you're away. I bring love, attention, and a little vet-clinic peace of mind to every visit. I work full-time at a veterinary hospital, which keeps me close to pets (and pet parents!) every day. I’m currently looking for sitting and drop-in opportunities near my workplace so I can stay close to both the job and your pet—making it easy for me to check in regularly and be nearby in case of anything urgent. On weekends, I’m fully available for more dedicated, around-the-clock care, whether that’s overnight stays, extended visits, or just extra snuggles and walks. I only offer pet care in the comfort of your pet’s home, where they feel safest and most relaxed. I follow your care instructions closely—whether that’s feeding, walks, medication, or playtime—while keeping your pet’s routine as consistent as possible. My goal is to make every visit feel calm, loving, and familiar, so your pet feels comfortable even while you’re away.

“Cecelia was amazing!!! Was constantly in communication with me and sending me tons of photos of our cats! They definitely warmed up to her and seemed to enjoy her staying with them. I would definitely book her again next time we need someone to watch them :)”

“This is our second time using Mireya and hopefully many more to come. We loved having her. I feel so and easy when I have go out of town knowing my fur babies are safe and well cared for. We would highly recommend ☺️”

About: I have loved and cared for animals for my entire life. Growing up, my family always had golden retrievers. Now, as an adult, I have my own 5 month old golden retriever named Murphy. I also have my two cats, October and Tucker. Two years ago I adopted a senior cat named Owen so I also have senior care experience as well as the experience with my own dogs while growing up. I am a therapist as a profession and I am currently training Murphy on my own to be a therapy/psychiatric service dog. While I definitely have my hands full with my own fur babies, I am absolutely always open to getting more fur best friends! I am currently a therapist who is working full time, but I am free to come stop by, hangout with, and walk your dogs any day after 3:30 and all day on the weekends! As a dog and cat owner myself, I’m more than capable and able to care for your fur babies in your home however you need me to!

About: As a dedicated and compassionate pet caregiver, I treat every animal as if they were my own. What sets me apart from other pet sitters is my deep intuition with animals, reliability, and attention to detail. Whether it's following special instructions, giving medication, or simply providing quality playtime and companionship, I tailor each visit to your pet’s unique needs and personality. You can count on me for clear communication, regular updates, and genuine care every step of the way. I am fully available over the weekends, and my schedule can be flexible throughout the week (mostly available after 6 PM unless otherwise needed and/or arranged. I treat your home and your pet with the same respect I would want for my own. I follow your pet's established routine to minimize stress, including feeding times, walks, play, and any special needs. I’m careful, trustworthy, and tidy, and I’ll keep you updated with messages, photos, and any observations while you're away. I can assure both your and your pup's satisfaction.

West Hills pet parents share their Rover experiences
Marisa is solid! She is dependable, consistent, and kind. I had such peace of mind knowing she was there with my 4 kitties. Her communication was great and she was very patient with me and my anxiety for the cats’ welfare. She totally understood and was reassuring and communicative, and she was very respectful in taking care of the space (she spent many overnights in my house) and following routines and directions. It was very easy to work with her and she is super reliable in keeping her commitment for a month of care and checking in with me. The cats really warmed up to her and I am so happy to have found her.

Arnika was an amazing dog sitter! We were away on a 4-day trip, and she took such great care of our pup, Anya 🐶. She was incredibly responsible, attentive, and truly treated Anya like her own, spoiling her with love and affection. Arnika kept in touch the entire time, sending us regular updates and lots of sweet photos of Anya eating, walking, playing 💕, and sleeping peacefully. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing our baby was happy and in such caring hands. Thank you, Arnika, for taking such wonderful care of Anya!

Kimmy is absolutely the best!!!! She watched our dogs for our wedding weekend, and took such amazing care of them. She sent so many pictures and updates, and we are able to enjoy our wedding knowing our pups were in the best hands. Very reliable sitter. Pick her!!!

Ericka was such a fantastic sitter for our Olive. Not only did our pup take to Ericka right away, Ericka was wonderful with taking care of our home while we were out of town. Her picture updates and daily texts were so great! Will definitely be having Ericka back to watch Olive!

Jordan did an amazing job taking care of my Husky/Shepard for a long weekend. She is a very friendly and kind person who you can tell loves animals. She took Sadie for long walks every day, kept her company and sent us photos and updates while we were away. I highly recommend her for dog sitting and will definitely be using her again in the future!

Lexy was outstanding in every way. She's attentive to detail, flexible, caring, and a great communicator. We have two dogs and a cat, each with different dietary and medication requirements. Thawing and food prep are required, along with monitoring to keep the pets out of each other's food. Adding to the challenge was the last minute addition of our son's two dogs, when his sitter fell through. Lexy took it all in stride, managed the whole zoo, kept us informed with a steady stream of photos and reports, and left the house clean, neat, and organized. What more could we ask? Highly recommend her to anyone interested in giving their pets a great experience, where they'll never feel "left-behind."

Karlee was an excellent caretaker for our dog Petal. Petal is an senior and she needs quite a bit of specialized attention (like medication and changing diapers) so we were worried about getting a sitter for her. ( This was the first time we ever had someone come help us with her). But Karlee really put our minds at ease. She clearly loves dogs and is very sensitive to their needs and behavior. She gave us updates throughout the day and was just the kindest person we would have hoped for. We highly recommend Karlee and are looking forward to hiring her again. ❣🐶🐾

Had such a wonderful experience booking Magenka. We inquired last minute and she responded so quickly and it couldn’t have been more positive. Our dog was so happy and well taken care of. Will absolutely use her again. Thank you so much Magenka, we are so grateful to you.
